Al Berry and Ron Morehead Loren Coleman is reporting that Sierra Sounds’ Al Berry just passed away last night, January 30, 2011. During the early 1970s, Al and his long time friend Ron Morehead went into the woods of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in eastern California and collected a series of alleged Bigfoot vocalizations called the "Sierra Sounds." Contained within the Sierra Sounds collection are interaction vocalizations also known as " Samurai Chatter ." Experts like R. Scott Nelson , a crypto-linguist, have declared the "Samurai Chatter" to be sasquatch language.

To give someone props, means to say congratulations for someone's accomplishment. It does not mean to give someone an object. Rumor has it that Adrian Erickson has been working with Hollywood to produce a documentary featuring Bigfoot footage from Crittenden, Kentucky of the male, the young female, Matilda , and her two babies. According to Robert Lindsay's source, Adrian Erickson recently showed his footage to a very wealthy Bigfoot investor and this person watched and marveled at how massive the male is – up to 10-12 feet tall.

As the debate about whether or not Bigfoot is more human or more ape heats up, we're starting to see more prominent players in the Bigfoot community stepping forward and speaking out. If you are familiar with the "Christian the Lion" story and have seen the video showing the reunion of Christian and the men who raised the lion from "cubhood", you'll recognize the humor in this "Bigfoot reunion" video clip. Christian was the name given to a lion cub Australians John Rendall and Anthony "Ace" Berg bought in a London shop in 1969. As he grew, the men enlisted George Adamson in Kenya for help preparing Christian for re-introduction into the wild. He was successfully released and became the head of his own pride. A year later the men traveled back to Africa hoping to pay Christian a visit, but were uncertain whether he would remember them or respond favorably. The resulting reunion as the adult lion bounded towards his foster fathers, greeting them with seemingly joyous affection, was quite moving and became a popular video.

Our large brains, our upright posture and two-legged gait, our ability to use tools and fire, these are a few of the features that separate humans from the apes. What does it say about Bigfoot if it possesses these same attributes?

During the Alaska episode of Only America with Larry The Cable Guy , YouTube user Bigfootinvestigation spotted a strange figure lurking in the background while Larry is shown quartering a moose with Palmer Alaska football team players. FB/FB made some closeup  enhancements of the figure in the video and noticed the familiar Bigfoot tree peeking behavior:

In last night's Ohio episode of Finding Bigfoot, one of the investigations was focused on Jeff Patterson's Bigfoot footage. The film shows a dark, upright figure walking through shallow snow to a tree. It then grabs the tree and starts shaking it back and forth until the video clip ends. According to Cliff Barackman, the footage clearly shows either a Bigfoot or a human.

According to the March 2012 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair Poll , 40% of Americans believe it's that Bigfoot exists, and 33% of them are people with college degrees.

Robert Lindsay believes there's a war going on between the "Ape Theory Gang" and the "Human Theory Collective." Lindsay says the Ape Theory Gang is mainly led by Bigfoot researchers like Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum. "[T]hey say that Meldrum’s stranglehold over Bigfootery is the biggest thing that is holding the field back. I am inclined to agree. I am starting to think that Lord Meldrum is a problem," Lindsay wrote in an article today.

Yeti Hair Sample Recovered by Destination Truth Team In 2008, Joshua Gates and his "Destination Truth" crew recovered a Yeti hair sample in Bhutan. The analysis reportedly came back as indicating "an unknown DNA sequence." Fast forward 4 years later and now rumor has it that Dr. Melba Ketchum's DNA study (currently in peer review) will finally prove the existence of the Yeti in addition to Bigfoot.

We've posted a few articles this week about Ohio Bigfoot researcher Tim Stover's appearance on the Finding Bigfoot show airing tonight on Animal Planet. Did you know that in 2010, Stover and his partner filmed a sasquatch observing them in the Ohio wilderness? In this breakdown video, FB/FB says it's a real squatch and confirms it on "perfect coned head, dark eyes and lighter skin on face and human/hooded nose. Legs hips and torso are seen in shadow."

Names differed for them but the general description shared comparatively similar characteristics. The Native American's understanding of the origin and nature of the "wild men" varied from being considered simply another tribe, another animal, or even a supernatural spiritual entity, enabling it to become invisible at will. Some tribes believed that to witness a sasquatch was a bad omen, a warning of a tragedy to come or impending doom. Still others believed that locking eyes with the creature would bring certain death.

Video recordings of Sasquatch have also laid claim to the existence of the creature, but have also gained the same ambiguity that photography has brought to the creature’s existence. So many videos exist today showing a furry creature walking on two feet, which many are saying is just a man in a gorilla suit. So I asked myself what would make anyone think that because they have something on video, it will prove its existence?

YouTube user, Bigfootinvestigation , discovered something incredible lurking in the background while watching Larry the Cable Guy's Only In America , Alaska episode . In the video, Larry is shown quartering a moose with Palmer Alaska football team members and out of nowhere, something brown and possibly bipedal walks into the scene. While all this is happening, neither Larry nor his crew noticed.

On Boxing Day last year (December 26th) in Canada, Bigfoot Hunter Todd Standing was featured on an episode of Call Out: Search and Rescue. According to executive producer Brian Ross, his crew’s experience with Standing ranked as the most outrageous.

If you're a reality TV buff, then you might want to give this show a chance. Dallas & Wayne is about two eccentric guys doing Bigfoot things. In this first episode of season two, Dallas and Wayne, after howling, wood knocking and taking photographs of trees, they finally take the images back home for analysis and discovered some interesting artifacts. You'll have to watch what they find at the end of the show.

Last night while taking a break driving southbound from some winter northern California research areas with my partner Rgr Leiterman, I happened to see both Lindsay's “interview” with Justin Smeja and the ridiculous accusations & exchange posted with Dr. Meldrum . Having been an invited participant during the body recovery effort in July 2011 & having become the closest confidant and liason (if you will) from the bigfoot community to those involved in the shooting incident, I thought I’d clarify some of the rampant speculation and sensationalized comments.

Two years ago, Tim Fasano was virtually unknown in the Bigfoot community. Today, he has over 900 subscribers to his YouTube channel. Back in 2010, after hiking 3 hours into an undisclosed location in Florida, Fasano captured on tape what looks like a skunk ape with its leg and foot sticking out from a palm cave. Tim was unarmed at the time and wasn't brave enough to try to find out what that foot belonged to. Tim suspected it was a bear at first, but after close examination of the video, he now believes that it was probably a skunk ape.

This Sunday, Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot will be airing the Ohio episode featuring Bigfoot researchers like Tim Stover and TheSquatchMaster . Ever since his Bigfoot encounter in 1992, Tim has been going out into the woods like clockwork, hoping to catch another glimpse of the creature. He knows Salt Fork State Park like the back of his hand and rangers even joked about building a cabin just for him.

The exact location of where the Sierra Kills event took place is still a mystery at this point. What we do know is that it happened near the Gold Lake region in California. We have heard mention of the Sierra Buttes area, but in a recent interview with the Bigfoot shooter, Justin Smeja, the shooting took place somewhere in the vicinity of Bassetts and Mount Haskell. Sometimes, SnowWalkerPrime gets these random thoughts and ideas about a video. On his YouTube channel, he has videos about all sorts of things like: How to catch a snipe, what he thinks about the Patterson-Gimlin film, and where are all these weird sounds being heard from all over the world are coming from? In this latest video, he has some advice for Bigfoot researchers about data collecting. To keep things interesting, he also shows you how to carve Bigfoot's face.

This morning, world renowned Bigfoot researcher Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum posted a response in regards to the "Sierra Kills" story Robert Lindsay wrote yesterday on his blog. Dr. Meldrum basically accused Lindsay of not getting his facts straight and said the "piece is riddled with errors and false insinuations."

Yesterday, Robert Lindsay posted an article detailing the event that took place in July 2011 involving Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum, Matt Moneymaker and a few other prominent Bigfoot researchers. Supposedly, Justin Smeja was the person filming the Sierra Kills scene and recorded Jeff Meldrum holding up a piece of the Bigfoot steak and said on tape in front of everyone, “This is it. This is what I’ve been looking for all of these years.” According to the article, Meldrum then went down a list confirming that this was the real deal. This morning Dr. Meldrum posted the following message about the factual errors in Linday's article stating: "The piece is riddled with errors and false insinuations, to say the least. I am very disappointed in the caliber of the journalism."

This breakdown video was posted on FB/FB's page a year ago. They said this is one of their favorite sasquatch video analysis. It shows a Bigfoot demonstrating "predictive and analytical abilities as well as a strong startle response." The video also confirms: Long arms, Uniform color, tree-peeking, instinctive hiding, observing from a strategic position and  "magic jump" . What's a "magic jump" you ask? If these latest stats don't tell you anything, perhaps it can still give you a clue into the popularity of the Animal Planet show: Finding Bigfoot . According to NewsFeed, the show averages more than 1.4 million viewers a week, beating out other reality-TV favorites like TLC's Hoarding: Buried Alive and HGTV’s "Holmes Inspection."

Less than 12 hours ago, our blog broke The Ketchum Report that was originally posted on Bigfoot Forums less than an hour before. And then, when you woke up this morning, you saw a plethora of Robert Lindsay-related posts. We have to admit, we held on to the Robert Lindsay posts for 6 hours because we felt that our readers needed a break. This latest development is also from Robert Lindsay. But before we show you the purported photo of a Bigfoot licking a trail cam, let's talk about Lindsay for a moment.

Imagine for a minute what renowned Bigfoot researcher Dr. Jeff Meldrum of the Idaho State University felt when he visited the Sierra Kills location and picked up a small piece of Bigfoot steak leftover from a dead Bigfoot. What were his thoughts, concerns, worries, expectations and plans? How does he cope with the imminent discussion of what Bigfoot really is? Is it human or ape? Meldrum has long held onto the theory that Bigfoot is a North American Ape, but what he found in July 2011 in the Sierra Buttes left him dumbfounded.

In a Facebook conversation between Justin Smeja and a taxidermist named Chris Sink, a comment was left out in the open that left many people puzzled. According to a source familiar with the matter, the comment had to do with the two Bigfoots that were shot near the Sierra Buttes. Here's what Robert Lindsay wrote this morning:

Yosemite National Park, renowned for its magnificent valley, great granite domes and peaks, waterfalls, giant sequoia, and spectacular high country, Yosemite is also home to one Paiute Indian Tribe that reside there. Paiute Indian elders have told stories of encounters that the Paiute people have had with the Bigfoots or Sasquatches. In the Paiute language they have different names for them, one is Pahi-zoho. There were some with red hair, brown hair and black hair. The red headed ones were said to be the meanest.
