TheSasquatchmaster calling it quits, Finding Bigfoot finds Salt Fork footage inconclusive

The SquatchMaster's Final Video Everyone's favorite Bigfoot hunter from Ohio calls it quits. He's going to try ghost hunting instead he says. After months of being ridiculed for claiming that he caught a Bigfoot on video breaking some trees, Jeff finally gets noticed by a team of experts. The experts met with him a few days ago to "scientifically" analyze his famous footage from Salt Fork State park. Who are these experts? We've been reporting for a few days now that the Finding Bigfoot TV crew is currently filming in Ohio. Apparently, it looks like they're going through the list of likely candidates to investigate. Jeff and Tim Stover is among the list of Bigfoot witnesses they're investigating. Jeff said they put his footage through some rigorous scientific tests and the results were inconclusive. This meant  the creature in the film could either be a man or a squatch. We'll never know...

If you plan on volunteering, here's one thing you should know: It's not safe and you may not come back alive!

But as it got closer, they noticed the hair all over and they were able to make out the face. The creature didn't do anything to harm them, so they decided to stay at the location to see if they can catch it on tape.

MrMayDX08 Book Review: In the Footsteps of the Russian Snowman

Looking for a good Bigfoot book to read? Watch MrMayDX08 review this book by Dmitri Bayanov. The title of the book is called "In the Footsteps of the Russian Snowman". It's the world's first English-language book on the searches for the elusive relict hominoid (popularly known as the snowman) in the lands of the former Soviet Union, written by Russian researchers themselves. The information in the book is given in full detail, soberly discussed, arranged geographically and presented chronologically, from the accounts of medieval travelers to the sighting reports of the current decade. Numerous observations of relict hominoids in the wild or in captivity include a case of interbreeding with humans. But is the snowman a reality? The book does its best to answer that very question. MrMayDX08 gives this book 5/5 stars.

Bigfoot Stole My Baby

Bigfoot illustration: Athena Gubbe Do you believe in Bigfoot because it's fun? In Psychology Today, an article talks about the human mind and our affinity for awesomeness. Hank Davis, the author of the piece uses the Caveman Logic and takes a look at the scary and entertaining ways in which our primitive minds are mismatched to the modern world around us. Rather than taking a skeptical approach, Davis tries to explain why we're always searching for something awesome like Bigfoot. Some our readers will probably disagree with Davis, but it's an interesting read if you're more into the psychology stuff. Read the rest below from :

NCBDT retrieves trailcam photos from Sierra Nevada Mountain, sees no sign of Bigfoot

"No cryptozoological trailcam project would be complete without the one picture that raises eyebrows with its inconclusiveness. It appears to be the limb of a hairy creature. Personally, I think it may be a bear’s leg, but we encourage you to draw your own conclusion…" -  NCBDT The Northern California Bigfoot Discovery Team had been experimenting with trailcams in the Sierras since August. They setup their first trailcam on the Western slope of the Sierra Nevada mountain. The team strategically selected a spot that was based on topography, seclusion, and the type resources available. 36 days later, on September 17, the NCBDT went back to retrieve the trailcam, and while they didn’t capture any images of Bigfoot, they did manage to photograph some deer and even a bear! Here's what they said about the Sierra Nevada mountain range and why they think it's an ideal place to find a Sasquatch: The Pacific Northwest contains vast expanses of mountains and forest

The Finding Bigfoot show gets roasted, Cliff Barackman: "LOL!"

Check out this comedy skit by Autumn Forest. She runs a blog over at Ghost Hunting Theories . In her most recent "LAUGH Comedy Series" post, she pokes fun at the Finding Bigfoot show. Autumn said she is in love with  Finding Bigfoot and it begs to be poked fun at by an adoring fan. Cliff Barackman thought it was hilarious and wrote this on his blog : Over at the blog Ghost Hunting Theories, paranormal investigator and friend of the 'squatch, Autumnforest, has posted a funny dialogue for a fictional episode of Finding Bigfoot.  I giggled to myself several times while reading through the post because it hit a little closer to home more than Autumnforest probably realizes.  The parody on our personalities seems a bit more accurate now that I've been on the road for nearly two months filming the second season of the show.  Read on for a sample of the script, and click the link below for the rest. Australian Aboriginals Are First Earth Explorers according to Genetic Study

A lock of hair is all that is needed to decode the history of an entire race A lock of hair has helped scientists to piece together the genome of Australian Aborigines and rewrite the history of human dispersal around the world. DNA from the hair demonstrates that indigenous Aboriginal Australians were the first to separate from other modern humans, around 70,000 years ago. This discovery marks a new chapter of the human history as it confirms that humans migrated from Africa in separate waves rather than in one single "out-of-Africa" diaspora. Read below from :

Steve Kulls September 2011 Bigfoot Expedition at Adirondack State Park

September 2011 Expedition Video by squatchdetective The Adirondack State Park has been extremely busy with Bigfoot activity this month. It took less than a week after the Bigfoot sighting at Old Forge for investigators to arrive at the scene. One of the first investigators to arrive at the park found possible stick stacking on a tree. Some believe this to be a clear sign of Bigfoot in the area. On September 13-15, 2011, Steve Kulls along with members of Tri-City NY Paranormal Society entered the Adirondack State Park in search of Bigfoot. Steve Kulls is a professional Bigfoot investigator of 18 years. He has appeared on several documentaries, numerous news programs and Monster Quest. Remote Viewer says PBS sound recordings from Fayette County belongs to "non-human hominid like creature"

First, for those who aren't familiar with remote viewing, here's an explanation: Remote viewing is a mental faculty that allows a perceiver (a "viewer") to describe or give details about a target that is inaccessible to normal senses due to distance, time, or shielding. For example, a viewer might be asked to describe a location on the other side of the world, which he or she has never visited; or a viewer might describe an event that happened long ago; or describe an object sealed in a container or locked in a room; or perhaps even describe a person or an activity; all without being told anything about the target -- not even its name or designation. Basically, remote viewing is related to so-called psi (also known as "psychic" or "parapsychological") phenomena such as clairvoyance or telepathy.

Michael Bastine talks to Coast to Coast AM about Stone Giants and Bigfoot

Author Michael Bastine on Coast to Coast AM speaks about the legend of the ancient Stone Giants and how they became known as Bigfoot. Among the many legends discussed by Bastine was the tale of the "stone giants," a race of people that are said to have existed on Earth before humans. He explained that these beings were tasked with "assisting in the structuring of this land for the humans to occupy it." Possessing supernatural powers, the stone giants became boastful of their skills to "the creator." In response to their vanity, the creator decreed that they were to be banished from the Earth. The repentant stone giants begged for forgiveness and promised, should they be allowed to stay on Earth, that they would "remain out of sight" and not interfere with the planet's other life forms. According to the legend, this request was granted and the stone giants remain on Earth as the creature popularly known as Bigfoot. Read ent

One report was from a young Oregon kite salesman who claimed he and his father found a dead Bigfoot lying in a mountain stream. “They heard a sound and turned around,” Cynthia said. “There was a live Bigfoot in the trees just a few feet away, watching over the dead one. They turned and ran out of there.” Read below from :

Tim Fasano: Is Renae Holland A BFRO Hoax?

Is Renae Holland A BFRO Fraud? Update: Tim removed his video and blog post. He must have found out how completely off base and wrong he was about Ranae Holland. Check out Ranae's complete bio on here . Our old friend Tim Fasano is at it again. This time it's not Todd Standing or Matt Moneymaker he's attacking. We have no idea why he would be onto this woman like this, especially since he has admitted to having the hots for her. Fasano says the BFRO could be lying about Ranae Holland's credentials. The BFRO claims that Renae Holland is a PHD Biologist who works with brown bears and salmon in the Pacific Northwest, but after extensively searching the internet and the NOAA's website, Fasano said he found no record of Ranae. "There is no record about her on the internet except for the BFRO or affiliated sites. Why? It seems as if Ms. Holland appeared out of thin air when the Animal Planet show Finding Bigfoot started. Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society releases recordings of unknown sounds made during Bigfoot investigation

Update from : "For your review, opinion and enjoyment, I have attached several audio files that were recorded on an Olympus digital hand held recorder while on a Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society sponsored two day outing September 9 and 10th in the Forbes State Forest in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. Here is some background information as to why our team was there. A deputy State Constable and Security force supervisor claimed he had a sighting on this property at 3:30 am from a distance of approximately 50 yards away on September 8, 2011. The sighting took place after three weeks of almost unusual nightly sounds heard by several members of the security force that was guarding this construction site. The night shift of the security staff claimed they heard wood knocking, whooping calls, screams, growls and hoots almost on a nightly basis after dark. We interviewed them independently and their stories corroborated what the other officers stated. - Eric Al

The Secret Future of Night Vision Tech

Even as an aging tech, night vision is still pretty awesome. But Wired's Noah Shachtman got a rare up-close look at the bleeding edge night vision tech that's in the field and being developed behind closed doors, like über-sensitive digital thermal overlays, maps, mugshots, and footage—all streamed to a single eyepiece. Definitely worth a read. So Sensitive: The thermal sensor doesn't just generate ghosts. Sometimes, it'll see stuff that was never there in the first place. The camera is so sensitive, it picks up the heat reflected off of a mirror, a window or (in this case) a television set. [ Wired via Gizmodo ]
