Bigfoot behind fallen tree? The Facebook Find Bigfoot guys said this photo of Bigfoot standing behind a fallen tree was taken in July. A powerful wind storm near Webb Lake Wisconsin had knocked down a tree blocking the road. When the photo was taken, the photographer did not notice what was behind the tree because it was "motionless". FB/FB said this is one of the best pictures that has been submitted to them this summer.

The Texas Bigfoot Research Conservancy will gather this weekend, for the third consecutive year, in Tyler for the annual Texas Bigfoot Conference. People who believe in the existence of Sasquatch and other unexplained mysteries can hear about new research on a variety of topics. Experts like Dr. Jeff Meldrum, Idaho State University associate professor of Anatomy and Anthropology, author of Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science, is expected to present evidence encountered in the field.

Today, Florida Skunk Ape hunter Tim Fasano said the team is currently filming Tim Stover. They are doing a re-creation of Tim's 1992 sighting in Salt Fork Ohio.

Fouke Monster The Fouke Monster , also known as the Southern Sasquatch , is a legendary cryptid reported near the town of Fouke in Miller County, Arkansas during the early 1970s, where it was accused of attacking a local family. Initial sightings of the creature were concentrated in the Jonesville/Boggy Creek area, where it was blamed for the death of local livestock. Later, sightings were made several hundred miles to the north and the east of Fouke.

If you're in the great outdoors and need to start a fire, you can use a fixed blade knife to split small logs as long as the knife blade is longer than the diameter of the log. This technique is popular in bushcraft and is known as batoning.

Two women took a break from their nursing job and set out to look for Bigfoot. Linda Durden and Jannette Skinner both share a fascination with Bigfoot, and after hearing reports of Bigfoot being spotted in the Uwharrie Forest, the pair decided to have a look for themselves.

The SquatchMaster's Final Video Everyone's favorite Bigfoot hunter from Ohio calls it quits. He's going to try ghost hunting instead he says. After months of being ridiculed for claiming that he caught a Bigfoot on video breaking some trees, Jeff finally gets noticed by a team of experts. The experts met with him a few days ago to "scientifically" analyze his famous footage from Salt Fork State park. Who are these experts? We've been reporting for a few days now that the Finding Bigfoot TV crew is currently filming in Ohio. Apparently, it looks like they're going through the list of likely candidates to investigate. Jeff and Tim Stover is among the list of Bigfoot witnesses they're investigating. Jeff said they put his footage through some rigorous scientific tests and the results were inconclusive. This meant  the creature in the film could either be a man or a squatch. We'll never know...

The Missing Apeman This video is part of a series that investigates unusual phenomena in the world. This episode looks at the stories of two human-like creatures that have long captivated the public's attention: the Abominable Snowman and Bigfoot. Fact or fiction? The evidence is presented for the viewer's judgment.

The original Snowbeast was first broadcast in 1977 in the US. The 1977 made-for-television horror film details the attacks of a ravenous white sasquatch on a Colorado ski resort. The teleplay was written by Joseph Stefano, who wrote the script for Alfred Hitchcock's classic 1960 thriller Psycho. Stefano reportedly used a book by Roger Patterson (who claimed to have encountered a bigfoot in 1967) as his primary inspiration, though no credit is given.

Finding Bigfoot's #1 fan Tim Fasano just posted the following about a town hall meeting that's taking place in Ohio tomorrow (Wednesday): A town hall meeting will be held at Deerassic Park and White Tail Hall of Fame next to Salt Fork state park in Ohio Wednesday at 7:00 PM. There will also be a grid search on Saturday at 2 PM which ia open to the public according to the Daily Jefferson newspaper. When you enter the park, follow the Bigfoot signs. Todd Standing and the Sylvanic team is looking for a skeptical volunteer who is willing to risk their life to see Bigfoot for themselves. Standing claims to know exactly where these creatures are, but it's going to take some guts if you want to tag along.  Preferably, they would like to have someone from one of the major neworks like CNN or the BBC to be their skeptical journalist. If you plan on volunteering, here's one thing you should know: It's not safe and you may not come back alive!

Cliff Barackman said yesterday the Finding Bigfoot team was flying over to the Midwest to do an episode of Finding Bigfoot. He gave us little clue and didn't say anything about the exact location. We searched our archives for the latest sighting reports from the Midwest and a couple of states like Ohio turned up in our search. Our source familiar with the matter said the Ohio Film Office was aware of the team being in Ohio since yesterday.

Milroy’s is essentially a Lymphedema – a gross swelling, fluid building and discoloring of the soft tissue – localized only to the lower extremities. It is most common in women, with seventy to eighty percent of all those afflicted being female, and the severity of the inherited condition varies.

In 1996, a Law Enforcement Officer and his girlfriend had an encounter of their life. The sighting happened on an ocean beach south of Tillamook . The couple were preparing to camp out on the beach until they saw a dark figure out in the distance. At first, they thought it was a man. But as it got closer, they noticed the hair all over and they were able to make out the face. The creature didn't do anything to harm them, so they decided to stay at the location to see if they can catch it on tape.

The information in the book is given in full detail, soberly discussed, arranged geographically and presented chronologically, from the accounts of medieval travelers to the sighting reports of the current decade. Numerous observations of relict hominoids in the wild or in captivity include a case of interbreeding with humans. But is the snowman a reality? The book does its best to answer that very question. Hank Davis, the author of the piece uses the Caveman Logic and takes a look at the scary and entertaining ways in which our primitive minds are mismatched to the modern world around us. Rather than taking a skeptical approach, Davis tries to explain why we're always searching for something awesome like Bigfoot. They setup their first trailcam on the Western slope of the Sierra Nevada mountain. The team strategically selected a spot that was based on topography, seclusion, and the type resources available. 36 days later, on September 17, the NCBDT went back to retrieve the trailcam, and while they didn’t capture any images of Bigfoot, they did manage to photograph some deer and even a bear! Earlier today, we posted a  recap article about the Paranormal Witness show on SyFy. We believe the Bigfoot story in this episode has one of the most suspenseful wilderness chase scenes ever. It's about an Oregon Deputy Sheriff in the woods being chased by Bigfoot. From the account, Bigfoot seemed to be more scared of the Deputy, rather than the other way around. It's no secret Canadians love sasquatch. They love him so much, they created a young sasquatch named Quatchi, one of the mascots for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic games. Cliff Barackman, bigfoot researcher on Animal Planet's television series, Finding Bigfoot, does a video debrief of the last episode of season one. Cliff said the success of the show motivated the producers to create a seventh episode. This was unexpected since the sixth episode was supposed to be the last one. "Episode 7 was a surprise to us all. We had no plans to do it. The success of the show kinda took Animal Planet by surprise," said Cliff.

Ranae Holland, the skeptical scientist from Finding Bigfoot was given the O.K. to reveal that they are going to be at the Comic Con in New York this October. September 2011 Expedition Video by squatchdetective The Adirondack State Park has been extremely busy with Bigfoot activity this month. It took less than a week after the Bigfoot sighting at Old Forge for investigators to arrive at the scene. One of the first investigators to arrive at the park found possible stick stacking on a tree. Some believe this to be a clear sign of Bigfoot in the area. On September 13-15, 2011, Steve Kulls along with members of Tri-City NY Paranormal Society entered the Adirondack State Park in search of Bigfoot. Almasty The term "Bigfoot" is a relatively new term. This creature has been around for as long as there have been campfires. It is known by as many different names as there are cultures. Here a just a few of the historical names given to this creature:

George Schaller talks about his interest in undiscovered primates and why he thinks that they should be studied by scientists. George Beals Schaller (born 1933) is an American mammalogist, naturalist, conservationist and author. Schaller is recognized by many as the world's preeminent field biologist, studying wildlife throughout Africa, Asia and South America. Born in Berlin, Schaller grew up in Germany, but moved to Missouri as a teen. He is vice president of Panthera Corporation and serves as chairman of their Cat Advisory Council along with renowned conservationist and Panthera President Alan Rabinowitz. Schaller is also a senior conservationist at the Bronx Zoo-based Wildlife Conservation Society.

Mount Tambora is ready to blow! This most powerful volcano is located in the island of Sumbawa, Indonesia Gede Suantika of the government's Center for Volcanology said activity first picked up in April, with the volcanic quakes jumping from less than five a month to more than 200. "It also started spewing ash and smoke into the air, sometimes as high as 1,400 meters (4,600 feet)," he said. "That's something I've never seen it do before." Authorities raised the alert to the second-highest level two weeks ago, but said only villagers within 2 miles (3 kilometers) from the crater needed to evacuate.

First, for those who aren't familiar with remote viewing, here's an explanation: Remote viewing is a mental faculty that allows a perceiver (a "viewer") to describe or give details about a target that is inaccessible to normal senses due to distance, time, or shielding. When a blazing forest fire rips through Bear Valley National Park it forces out all of the wildlife including a creature that was better left undiscovered. The event is scheduled for Oct. 1 at Caldwell Auditorium, 301 S. College Ave. The Texas Bigfoot Research Conservancy, a nonprofit scientific research organization, is devoted to testing the hypothesis of a rare, unidentified primate residing in remote areas. General admission is $25 with discounts available for students, educators and active military with proper identification.

Bigfoot researcher Henry Franzoni discusess the odd movement of Patty. Henry Franzoni (b. 1957?) was a pioneer in the Internet era of sasquatch research. Franzoni grew up in Glen Ridge, NJ, but attended prestigious Reed College in Portland, OR. Following his tenure at Reed, he returned to Manhatten, worked as a computer programmer until 1988, and then moved back to Oregon. Franzoni and his wife experienced a possible sasquatch encounter during a camping trip, prompting his involvement in bigfoot research.

Casting A Massive Footprint If you have ever watched the shows Finding Bigfoot or Destination Truth (all produced by the same people), they never show you the full process of casting a footprint. Due to the limited amount of time each show has, they're forced to show you the end result, which is the cast itself. Sometimes, what's missing in between are the steps and techniques for making a good cast.

Author Michael Bastine on Coast to Coast AM speaks about the legend of the ancient Stone Giants and how they became known as Bigfoot. Among the many legends discussed by Bastine was the tale of the "stone giants," a race of people that are said to have existed on Earth before humans. He explained that these beings were tasked with "assisting in the structuring of this land for the humans to occupy it." Possessing supernatural powers, the stone giants became boastful of their skills to "the creator." In response to their vanity, the creator decreed that they were to be banished from the Earth. The repentant stone giants begged for forgiveness and promised, should they be allowed to stay on Earth, that they would "remain out of sight" and not interfere with the planet's other life forms. Bigfooting in the Adirondacks of NY by TheDoc99 With one unconfirmed Bigfoot footage coming out of the Adirondack mountains, a Bigfoot hunter and his son decides to check things out for themselves. The New York Bigfooter said this is an area that has produced tracks and vocals before.

Remnants of a 20-foot extinct relative of crocodiles have been discovered in the same Colombian coal mine where Titanoboa, the world's largest snake, was found. Read below from wired.com :

Although this sounds like a feral child case, authorities are still trying to figure out who this boy is or where he came from. According to a German newspaper, an English-speaking teenager out of nowhere walked out of the forest near Berlin. He told police he had been living in the woods for five years with his father, but had no idea who he was or where he came from. Read the report below:

This story is really about a Missouri couple's encounter with Bigfoot 14 years ago. But what we read in the following article blew us away. After their encounter in William R. Logan Conservation Area  near Lincoln County in 1997, Robert and Cynthia Stayte became avid Bigfoot researchers. The couple took a trip to Oregon and Washington, visiting the sites of several reported Bigfoot encounters. One report was from a young Oregon kite salesman who claimed he and his father found a dead Bigfoot lying in a mountain stream. “They heard a sound and turned around,” Cynthia said. “There was a live Bigfoot in the trees just a few feet away, watching over the dead one. The "Beast from the East" -- retired Russian boxer Nikolai Valuyev Last week , the Russian heavyweight boxer Nikolai Valuyev said he was going on an expedition to find the Russian Yeti. Unfortunately, the Yeti won this round and the he wasn't home. The creature was no where to be found near the Azass Cave. “Valuyev did not manage to meet the yeti itself but on the way he discovered ‘traces’ such as broken tree branches," a local government press release said on September 16. The Finding Of A Footprint After many moons and many nights, the Ohio Bigfoot Hunter finally feels like he's on the right track. The exact location is unknown, but he's been to this side of Salt Fork State Park many times. This time, things are a little different. Tim says this location is way off the hiking trail and it's unlikely these fresh footprints he found could have been made by a hiker.

Here is some background information as to why our team was there. A deputy State Constable and Security force supervisor claimed he had a sighting on this property at 3:30 am from a distance of approximately 50 yards away on September 8, 2011. The sighting took place after three weeks of almost unusual nightly sounds heard by several members of the security force that was guarding this construction site. The night shift of the security staff claimed they heard wood knocking, whooping calls, screams, growls and hoots almost on a nightly basis after dark.
