International team of scientists meeting in Tashtagol city to discuss the Yeti, and find him too

Recently, there have been sightings of unknown creatures that took place near the Azass Cave in the Tashtagol area.
Hunters describe them as vaguely human but closer to a bear.

An International Scientific Conference on Hominology will be held in Tashtagol city, Kemerovo Oblast, Russian Federation from October 6 to October 9, 2011.Many local residents in Tashtagol regions believe that there are still many Yetis or Almas or Bigfoot exist and live around the regions of Tashtagol.

Once there was a case when the governor of Kemerovo region Aman Tuleev offered cash prize to whoever catches the Yeti.

The conference will be attended by the famous scientists; biologists, anthropologists, geneticists, hominologists, bioinformatics from the United States, Canada, Sweden, China, Mongolia and Russia. This time the scientists will not only gather and discuss about this issue, but they will also plan to travel to the regions where Yetis thought to be living.

R.Barsbold, a paleontologist and geologist at the Geological Institute, Mongolian Academy of Sciences, will participate at the conference representing Mongolia. He is the son of the famous Mongolian writer, scientist and academician B.Rinchen.

Numerous new species of dinosaur is discovered by R.Barsbold. The following are the new discoveries and their names:

  • Adasaurus (1983)
  • Anserimimus (1988)
  • Conchoraptor (1986)
  • The family Enigmosauridae (1983) (now inactive)
  • Enigmosaurus (with A. Perle, 1983)
  • Gallimimus (with H. Osmólska and E.Roniewicz, 1972)
  • Garudimimus and the family Garudimimidae (1981)
  • Harpymimus and the family Harpymimidae (with A.Perle, 1984)
  • Ingenia (1981)
  • The family Ingeniidae (1986)
  • The family Oviraptoridae (1976)
  • The suborder Segnosauria (with A.Perle, 1980) but this name is now inactive and is included in Therizinosauria.

    I'm envious. I think more might come from searching for Yeti than Bigfoot simply because Yeti has had less travelers in his territory and might not have yet built up a way of hiding from intruders.

Bigfoot injured by a forest fire was taken away and hidden by the authorities, not even Robert Lindsay can top this story

This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns".
