Is the Peruvian mummy a giant toddler? In 2011, the discovery of a strange-shaped skull in Peru led some to claim it is the remains of an ancient baby giant (or an Alien from outer-space) . They argue that a soft spot in the skull -- called an open fontanelle, is a characteristic of children in their first year of life, yet the skull also has two large molars, only found in much older humans. The unidentified creature also has a strangely shaped skull nearly as large as its 20-inch-tall body. The physical evidence corroborate the existence of giants in accounts by early explorers like Magellan and ancient texts like the Babylonian Epic of Gilgamesh, the Hebrew Book of Enoch, and the Book of Giants.

During the Vietnam War, many soldiers reported encounters with large bipedal apes in the jungles of Laos. This story is about a platoon attacked by a family of giant man-like apes:

Photo credit: Bigfootology.com Dr. Bryan Sykes, after his short stay in Washington with Rhetman Mullis -- which changed him from a skeptic to a believer , Sykes is now safely back home in England and continuing his research on purported Bigfoot samples. While in Oregon, Dr. Sykes apparently met with Ken Goddard, head of the USFWS top lab in Medford, Oregon. Goddard is now supposedly in charge of running a "backup lab" for Sykes and will be testing samples. Blogger Robert Lindsay is curious why a professional man with a sensitive career like Goddard would risk his career on Bigfoot. On Sunday, Finding Bigfoot will air their last episode of the season. The team will be investigating the Rock Ape or "Nyguoi Rung" of Vietnam. During the Vietnam War, soldiers brought back tales of large man-like apes they called rock apes. Soldiers describe the creature as being approximately 6 ft tall and covered with hair except in the knees, the soles of the feet, the hands, and the face. The hair ranges in color from gray to brown to black. Sightings of these Bigfoot-like creatures are reported all over Asian and known by many names -- China calls them "Yeren", and the people of Laos refer to them as the "forest men".

YouTube user B Ballykelly filmed this amphibious looking creature floating in the water while looking for wildlife to photograph near Loch Foyle in Ireland. Could this strange frog looking thing be an offspring of the Lochness monster? We're not sure what it is, but it's definitely unlike anything we've ever seen before. Since returning to Myakka to continue their investigation of the Skunk Ape sighting, Florida Skunk Ape hunter Tim Fasano and his team have witnessed several strange occurrences near their camp. Two night ago, Fasano's team caught this "low-thud" tree knocking noise coming from the swamp. "This could be a new paradigm of wood knocking," says Tim. Listen below:

The Sierras is home to many famous Bigfoot vocalizations such as the Clipper Mills howls captured in 2012 and the Sierra Sounds audio captured in the 70s by Ron Morehead and Al Berry. Finding Bigfoot is planning to shoot an episode around the Tahoe area and according to producer Sean Mantooth, the cast will use "cutting-edge technology" never before seen on the show. "It’s a creative search technique that will be completely new to veteran viewers," Mantooth told Tahoe Daily News . The online news website did not mention whether or not there will be a town hall filming, but the South Shore episode should air this summer.

Last December, we discussed the possibility that Dr. Melba Ketchum may be studying " giant skeletons ". Giant skeletons have reportedly been found around the world. Critics have criticized Ketchum's Bigfoot DNA study suggesting contamination maybe the reason why her data shows a homo sapiens / unknown hominin hybrid species in North America. In a new Facebook posting, it seems Ketchum has taken the next critical step in proving that there is no contamination -- by extracting DNA from giant bone fragments supposedly from Bigfoot:

Last month, a 12-year-old boy named Yevgeny Anisimov and his two friends filmed what some believe to be a Russian Yeti. The footage was filmed near the frozen Ur River in Kemerovo region, southern Siberia. According to Dr. Igor Burtsev, an expert in the Abominable Snowman, the creature in the video appears to be a mother or a father carrying its offspring. "The shape of the footprints in the snow indicate a large creature and a possible child or baby," Burtsev explained. "It looks like the bigger Yeti - maybe it was mother or father - was making a path for the smaller one," he added.

I've never heard of the Spartan Race before but if they're throwing tires at people to get rid of them, there's no way in hell I'm signing up for that! This video was filmed during the Spartan Race in Charlotte last week and it's frickin' scary how close one guy came to losing his life. "My GoPro was on when a tire from the hill above almost hit us during the sandbag carry. Pretty scary in reality. Very lucky," the uploader wrote. (Tire starts at 1:22s)

This is a beautiful video about a  professional MMA fighter who calls himself Great White Sasquatch visiting a village in Congo where the children reacted to something that's not supposed to exist in their minds: A big hairy white man in the Congo.

The Bigfoot blog  Bigfoot Lunch Club  received an email response from a microbiologist named Dr. Tyler Kochjohn who suggest that Dr. Melba Ketchum's paper does not prove Bigfoot, but rather, it proves that there is definitely "something unique and unrecognized roaming the woods". Konchjohn points to Ketchum's data on the hair morphology, and unique traces of nuDNA consistent across multiple samples from around the world. Konchjohn also explains why Ketchum's paper was rejected the first time and wrote that her first publication target was a forensics journal -- "which rejected the paper because it was too genetic and biological".

This mysterious photograph was taken by a student named Terri Leigh Cox in park in Dorchester, Dorset. According to Cox, the ape-like creature walking on all fours was only 100 yards away when she spotted it from her bedroom window.

The premise in this new movie trailer for Twentieth Century Fox's summer blockbuster "The Wolverine" is simple: Hugh Jackman or "Wolverine" is mortal. The movie takes place in Japan where Wolverine is met with sword wielding ninja gangsters -- In the comics, this is also the place where he studies and masters martial arts. Peter Wiemer, from the Chautauqua Lake, NY Bigfoot Weekend & Expo announced that in a letter he wrote to President Barack Obama on February 15th that he requested protected species status for Bigfoots / Sasquatches in the USA.

Stacy Brown Jr.'s impromptu Finding Bigfoot-style townhall meeting in Myakka FL two weeks ago was one of the most successful gathering of Skunk Ape evidence to date. Dozens of witnesses stepped forward to report their sightings and one person even came forward with actual physical evidence. If you're a fan of "Found Footage" type of films and don't mind the low-tech quality and shaky feeling, you're probably going to love this announcement to the sequel of "The Lost Coast Tapes". The first film was about a camera crew stuck in a compromising situation where a Bigfoot-like monster takes them out one by one. While we never get a clear look at the creature, we get a sense that creature is unlike anything in this world. Part two of the film is using the same teaser shot from the first film, suggesting the movie is going to start and take place exactly where they left off. The film company posted this message on Facebook accompanying the poster image:

The heron in this video just won the Darwin Award by landing and chilling in lion pit. If you've never heard of this award, The Darwin Awards are usually given to really dumb humans and are all about improving the gene pool. Darwin Awards are given to those "who improve the species by accidentally removing themselves from it, thereby ensuring that the next generation is one idiot smarter," as stated on the official Darwin Awards website. Therefore, to win a Darwin Award, you must eliminate yourself from the gene pool.

Last September, Mike Rugg received a reel containing video of Roger Patterson talking about his Bigfoot footage. The "Big Reel" gives us a rare glimpse into Roger Patterson's world -- two months after filming the creature at Bluff Creek, CA. The film was used as a marketing tool in the 1970s and was shown to audiences during the height of his career. Patterson had presented it to Universal Studios and the BBC, who were especially impressed with the film.

Last week M.K. Davis released a video of a Bigfoot reportedly making noise from inside a tractor shed . In this follow-up video, Davis shows the inside of the shed and an unusual blanket with some bread crumbs next to it. "It looks like someone's been sleeping and maybe eating a little bread there," Davis explains. Davis believes the creature in the shed may also been the same creature in the " Bottle Tosser " video.
