Robert Lindsay Updates List of Bigfoot Samples Sent To Dr. Melba Ketchum DNA Study

Here's the latest rundown on samples for Dr. Melba Ketchum's DNA study by Robert Lindsay.

A couple of things to note is that the Yeti sample from Destination Truth is now included on this list.

  • Samples submitted: Over 200
  • Presumptive for Bigfoot/Yeti: Almost 100
  • # of Bigfoot/Yeti individuals represented: 20-28

According to Lindsay, this is only 15 of nearly 100 successful samples.

Details of samples:

  1. Why does anyone follow Robert "Lindsay's" ramblings? All the guy does is look online at different Bigfoot info sources and type this stuff in his blog. He reads the Bigfoot Forums for most if not all of his info. It's NOT exactly breaking news folks.....well to be fair, it is news, but it's already well known long before he blogs it. I remember when he was on the BFF offering to tell people where the KY Crittenden site was....Oh my. I guess there may have been a few brand new people that may have not known about it. Reporting? Not at all, "Lindsay" is a mere "Googler" at best.

  2. It's funny ... on Biscardi's show 1-2 months ago he was going on and on about most of the samples Ketchum was studying came from him, and he was getting lawyers involved to get it back and she's an ugly person blah blah blah.

I think the toenail is something in particular he mentions from time to time, but it seems like he was only the carrier mule to get it to Ketchum -- meaning that he didn't actually FIND it. I mean, I when I get a Christmas card in the mail, I don't give credit to the US Postal Service ... I say "thank you" to my grandma who found and bought it for me!

  4. Shawn - haven't you worked out that no one is interested in this fellows drivel. He has NO credibility and his fabricated rubbish is nothing but a waste of space. Do us all a favour please.

    1. It might not be for slander but a day of just rewards is in the cards.

    2. Anyone out in California ever actually see Lindsay at a Bigfoot conference? How would he possibly know anyone linked in his stories? I can't even find another picture of this guy other than the mug he has as a profile pic. John

  7. I'm pretty convinced that his esteemed sources are just people using him for their own axe grinding and Lindsay's self important ego and desire for attention doesn't allow him to see it. The Moneymaker stuff is just outright lies and character assassination. Not a single named source will back up Lindsay's accusatiions and stories.

  8. Anybody that says mm doesn't smoke pot extremely regularly and pop pills like candy doesn't know him well. You don't need a source for that one right there

  9. Since Lindsay chose to slander MM and the Finding Bigfoot show I wonder what the legal team for Animal Planet will have to say about that. The people who do know Matt know this stuff is crap.

    1. If you notice he says he is geting reports conserning MM, well where and who are the sources of these reports?

I guess well just have wait until the discovery phase of the law suit?

  10. I don't buy a word this guy said. Roberty Lindsay is a crack addict but doesn't admit it. He claims to have a number of sources, but he is just lying and exaggerating previously stated claims. Don't listen to this racist.

    1. Just report RL to the blogspot and or to an anti hate or deformation group or org.

      That's what I have done

    2. Great! Which websites or organizations did you report me to? And by the way, thanks!

  11. I personally don't give a squat if Matt Moneymaker smokes pot or not. My guess is most of the people willing to put this much time in out in the woods smoke pot too. Just an observation, no judgement implied. I have known a lot of smart potheads over the years. Maybe altering your perception might open you to some different realizations about the world we live in. John

  12. I guess the excerpt should be emailed over to MM and hopefully we will get a reaction from the man himself. Stay tuned.

  13. I appreciate Lindsay taking the time to put all this information together in one convenient place to read, even if he is just taking info from different places on the web. This breakdown of all the samples being tested is especially good information that I am glad to see him post here. Thanks Robert!

  14. Thank you very much Midwestern. That's the idea of my site, to put it all together in one easy to read format. Who has time to read through 79 page of thread on the Sierra Kills and the Ketchum Project over at BFF. Sure I get info from everywhere, but a lot of it is also my own scoops. My readers and other websites are often not aware of the stuff I have reposted from elsewhere, as not everyone keeps up on 100% of the Bigfootery 100% of the time.

Actually, with the list above, I believe we broke the story that the sample was successful in 13 out of 15 cases. We also broke the story that there are over 200 samples in and almost 100 tested positive, in addition to 20-28 separate critters.

We break tons of stories, more than any other Bigfoot blog out there.

    1. He says he broke the story 13 out of 15 times, yet he gathers his information from other websites? Contradiction. Who has time to read through a 79 page thread on BFF? Well I guess you do Mr. Lindsay. John

  15. I don't if Matt smokes weed either, but when he's too wasted to shoot on many occasions, there's probably something other than weed going on there. Probably pills.

BTW, that info is straight from someone who works on the set. I have talked to other oldtime Bigfooters who confirm the rumors. Apparently the drug thing started about 15 year ago, but it's gotten way out of hand.

Let's hope he gets some help. I don't want to see his drug habit kill him.

  16. I wonder if RL will break the story when he gets dragged into court for libel. He's tacking up quite a list of enemies.

  17. Is there a reason for being rude and downright uncivil in all these attacks on anyone and everyone who happens to be pursuing Bigfoot research? This particular article I found to be very interesting and informative about the status of the DNA analyses. I find it exciting to see that the Yeti sample from Josh Gates is said to be included. That says to me that they are also studying the similarities and perhaps differences between Yeti and Sasquatch, if there are any at all. All this mud slinging above is missing the point that the results of this study, if positive, will mark the first definitive scientific proof of a new animal species -- our closest living relative in the animal kingdom and with it a human curiosity to learn more about it.

    1. You have missed the point of this thread, I'm sorry but this is so. People comment negatively to Robert Lindsay articles because of the nature of the blog that these reports are taken from, and the mans lack of credibility. He has repeatedly reported "news" without citing a single source. Many people actually involved in these research groups have responded to his claims with a big negative. He even went as far as misquoting Dr. Jeff Meldrum, making him sound like a cheesy action movie hero. People will always respond negatively to tabloid nonsense. Not trying to be rude, just stating the obvious. Hope that clarifies it somewhat. John

  18. I think the results will be positive, they have so much good DNA now it seems that there will be no doubt drawn from it.

  19. Matt Moneymaker is a fat slob and Robert is right on. He needs to be called out for what he is. He is a druggy and for the people here who think thats crap, that is simply because you dont know the man. I do. The people who think Roberts posts are crap are simply people who have no idea what is going on behind the scenes. Some stuff he puts may be wrong but he gets far more right. if it werent for him you wouldnt know anything about the sierra kills or the ketchum dna results. But aside from that, Moneymakers drug problem is very very well known. In fact robert isnt the first to ever complain of it, and moneymaker tries to take everyone to court who talks about it. This has happened on serveral occassions. This is the truth of the matter. Moneymaker is a druggy, he stole money from Wally to fund his habbit and now he runs the bfro, does expeditions, and does that stupid tv show to fund his lifestyle. Believe it or not, who cares, the people who actually know the players in this game know the truth and so it doesnt matter what the nay sayers think

    3. I'm not Ed but the question still stands. I have seen others defend MM, but only "sources" seem to be accusing.

  20. And lets also be clear, Bobo himself acknowledged at the site of the sierra kills without moneymaker around that finding bigfoot wasnt looking for anything. It was for show only pure and simply, the objective was to get ratings and thats all. For pete sake they cant even keep any evidence or get it analyzed if they find any, the production company owns the rights to anything they find. So you can see right their just how serious it is. And whats even worse is when the tv show makes matt look like the moron druggy he is, he just blames it on production like he did last seasaon. Thats his scapegoat. But if you think for one second that matt doesnt approve what gets put on, on some level, then you dont know tv. Moneymaker is a disgrace to this field in every way. People who are on the fence about bigfoot that see this show, quickly make up their mind that the animal is fake based on the show and its incompetence. The bfro does have good members but their president is a moron and doesnt belong anywhere near the woods. Matt pays other bfro members to do the real work and then when things get interesting or a find is made, then he steps out of his tv lounge like he had been their the whole tiime working. When in reality he doesnt know anything about the wilderness and the common animals it contains, let alone bigfoot. If their was every a worse choice for a leader of a bigfoot group,,,,,well on second thought, their couldnt be one, he is the worst. I would much rather see biscardi hosting it, at least he knows something about the animal and the wilds. Compared to moneymaker he comes off looking like Bear Grylls. (sp?). Anyway the point is, robert is correct despite what you may think. Matt has a serious drug problem and has had one for many years and it interfers with the show quite a bit. Matt has no clue how to behave in the wilderness and knows little to nothing about wildlife. And the show is completely fake. They are out to find the best stories for TV and thats it. They arent looking for anything involving bigfoot. And their are some of us who have pictures of matt with certain substances and if this gets challenged and say robert is taken to court, hes gonna have a very good case to win and get this bozo kicked off television and kicked out of the bfro.
