For reporters: Here is the list of samples sent to Dr. Melba Ketchum

Since her press release last Sunday, Dr. Melba Ketchum is still refusing to answer to reporters about where she got the Bigfoot samples for her study. It's one of the questions that a lot of people have been asking from day one. We know the media likes to look at our page, so we're going to list the samples here, courtesy of Robert Lindsay.

Reporters asking where the samples are coming from.

Below are some of the samples that was purportedly sent to Dr. Melba Ketchum's Bigfoot DNA study. The number of samples submitted is estimated to be over 200, with almost 100 presumptive for Bigfoot (and Yeti too). According to Lindsay, the samples are from 20-28 different "individuals" from all over the world.

Below is a list of just 15 of the nearly 100 successful samples:

1 blood sample from JC Johnson in the 4 Corners area of New Mexico (skunk in a drainpipe sample).

Note: This list was last updated by Robert Lindsay back in February 2012. Some information may be out of date.
Sample Quantity
Hair samples from Golden Ears Provincial Park in British Colombia, representing 5 separate creatures, gathered by Erickson Project 5
Toenail from Larry Jenkins in the Grand Canyon area of Arizona (Update: Alex Hearn is also listed as one of the submitters) 1
Blood sample from JC Johnson in the 4 Corners area of New Mexico (skunk in a drainpipe sample) 1
Blood sample from Crittenden, Kentucky, gathered by Erickson Project. Sample was obtained by gluing glass shards on a feeding plate 1
Hair sample from David Paulides’ NABS known as the Ulibarri sample from Hoopa Valley, California 1
Hair sample from Larry Surface in southern Ohio. Surface shot the controversial nighttime Bigfoot video that was pulled from the web recently 1
Hair sample from Scott Carpenter in the Great Smoky Mountains, Eastern Tennessee 1
Slice of Bigfoot flesh from Sierra Buttes, California from the adult male Bigfoot shot dead by Justin Smeja 1
Large sample of saliva from the Olympic Project obtained via a Bigfoot licking a camera 1
Hair sample from SE Oklahoma collected by TEXLA Cryptozoological Research, whoever they are 1
Yeti hair sample from Josh Gates collected in Bhutan 1

    2. Yes because why wouldnt every giant, super-intelligent hominid cut themselves to pieces on PVC pipe to get some skunk meat.....particularly when NO othe N American predators seek them out as a primary food source? Forget rabbits or eggs, lets painfully capture skunks!

    3. ^ This proves they do not have tools and therefore we should not find any. We did not, so the facts match the theory. Do the math troll...

    5. Why didn't they set up hidden cameras around the locations they set the bait?

    6. ^ For some of these guys bigfoot is a given, and further believe the creatures can sense camera traps. Others just make shit up and prefer not to have photos taken of them hoaxing stuff.

    7. The reason that you did not know about this is you don't look deep enough. When you watch the videos scan the linked videos. This one has been wound for a long time

Search also by date of download. You may find a new one that way and then present it to this site. There are also videos that seem to only reside on just a few sites so search different sites. By far one of my favorites in the site on the Mogian monster I believe it's called. A Bigfoot group in Arizona. Look that One up

      Good luck

  3. I must admit it all sounds very convincing the way they present their 'evidence;' however, I have some news for them: THEY CAN'T FOOL ME! I WON'T FALL FOR IT!! I'M WAY TOO SMART FOR THAT!!! I ONLY BELIEVE WHAT THE GOVERNMENT AND MAINSTREAM SCIENCE TELLS ME! THIS BIGFOOT NONSENSE IS A HOAX AND THEY'RE ALL IN ON IT!!! I'M NOT PARANOID BUT I JUST KNOW EVERYONE IS OUT TO GET ME!!!!!

  4. All great and fine let's just hope that Dr Ketchum releases her samples to other scientists studying like phenomenon, DNA etc so that they can conduct their own analysis and that she releases her methodology in her report so that it can also be tested. After all that's how science works. The conclusion of a report is not the only important thing.

    1. But that won't happen because the samples have all been consumed. She doesn't want anyone double checking her work.

Melba was terrified when she learned that Smeja still had another piece of the "steak". She called Wally and Randles in a panic trying to get it back. Her excuse was that she didn't want to be "scooped" by some other scientist. The truth is that she didn't want to be debunked by some other scientist. She needed to make damn sure there wasn't a way to re-test her results.

Science is something Melba wants to avoid all together. Her "study" is about hype and funding, not about science.

    5. Anon is correct. Melba has told all submitters that all samples have been used up and no one is getting anything back. A lot of the submitters are really mad at her. One submitter threatened to sue her to get his sample back and she sent him back a very fancy box with all this wrapping and nothing whatsoever inside of it. No one knows if she used up all the samples or not. A lot of submitters don't think she does, but basically, she either used it all up or she is just keeping 100% of everything given to her and not giving anyone anything usable back.

  5. How does a skunk in a drainpipe lead to obtain Bigfoot blood.... seriously how?

    1. I guess the submitter thinks the bigfoot cut his hands or fingers smashing through the pipe to get the skunk. It is a profoundly retarded scenario: if they did things like that we would see them on Natgeo every Sunday night.

  7. So they say that whatever it was, trapped the skunk because it wanted to eat it.However the skunk carcass remains at the scene minus guts and scent glands? Obviously whatever killed this wasn't interested in a meal. Doesn't make a lot of sense in that respect.

  8. My brother, who was an itinerant pharmacist, worked occasionally on the Hoopa Reservation and after becoming friends with the locals, started hearing their bigfoot stories. One of them gave him bigfoot hair samples which he then gave to me. I sent them to BFRO who sent them to someone at some university. They said it was bear hair.

    1. I separate science and religion but if you must know: I'm a deist and express it through the roman catholic religion, whether or not I agree with all of it. Its part of my cultural heritage(almost as important as the food) and probably inseparable from it as a Brooklyn born Italian-American.
I am very doubtful about the existence of bigfoot but I admit I can't account for all the (honest) witnesses. Now back to trolling...

    1. Time will tell, this is all yokum. Maybe some of these samples are legit. Some of them obviously aren't, and without providing samples of the test tissue to other scientists for validation, this whole thing will be for nothing. At least in the eyes of the scientific community.

The length of time involved here is suspicious. As hell. Whatever.
