The Bigfoot makes a bold escape stealing the horse of the hunter he attacked. At a point during the pursuit, prior to the attack, the hunter was able to observe the creature for a few moments and gives a detailed description of the creature's appearance and movement.

You can take it to a DNA lab and have them try to match it up with known animals in their database, or you can slide it under the microscope and look for the presence or absence of the medulla.

Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum announced today that he is assisting Dr. Sykes with the screening and prioritizing of purported Bigfoot hair samples. Although the screening process will be based on the look and characteristics of the samples, this could tremendously help the Oxford-Lousanne Collateral Hominid Project in weeding out known animal hairs. The Oxford study could set a precedence in the study of Bigfoot / Yeti if Dr. Sykes can somehow prove the samples he has been receiving from different parts of the world came from unknown hominids.

Stories of Bigfoots rushing at people are rare but they do happen. During a 2012 BFRO Expedition in the Washington Cascades, BFRO researchers captured an audio recording of Sasquatch "bluff charging" their camp. Doug Howe caught the whole event on his Sony M-10 Digital Audio Recorder. Unfortunately, all three researchers, Howe, Tyler Bounds and Mike Beers were asleep when this happened.

Scientists have just completed the genome for the Denisovans, a branch of extinct humans, and found that there were several important differences between modern humans and them. According to the article on LiveScience.com:

Check out this presentation of the Kentucky Bigfoot. It has got to be one of the coolest techno-presentation of Bigfoot ever. Initially, we thought the voice over guy belonged to a different show, but after watching the whole thing through, we're pretty sure that we haven't heard this before.

Randy Lee Tenley, 44 Photo Credit: Cryptomundo According to the coroner's office, Randy Lee Tenley, 44, may have been drinking when he was struck by two cars on a dark highway while dressed in a "Ghillie" camouflage suit to hoax a Bigfoot sighting in northern Montana. The NY Daily News reported that Tenley was just a "normal guy" who drives a truck for a living. He leaves behind a "juvenile daughter".

Cameron Davidson sent the image above Matt Moneymaker on Twitter. "Saw this on Big Rhodey episode a picture of small girl in woods with Ranae," Cameron wrote.

After seeing following photograph analysis, it's clear that Stephen is merely suffering from something that has infected a lot of "paranormal experts". Here's pareidolia at its best:

In this video, Phil plays for us a number of possible sources the "Eerie Screams" may have came from. The Hockett Meadow screams are one of the most popular screams on YouTube and it has caught the attention of producers for the Finding Bigfoot show.

Matt Moneymaker has done a great deal for Bigfoot research, perhaps more than anyone else, and the time has come for him to step up and invite Robert Lindsay to appear on an episode of Finding Bigfoot .

Among their strange ban on certain movie genres like "Time Traveling" for instance, "Monster" movies are now unbanned again in China. Chinese film regulators originally started out their ban on "vulgar" movies, but later they stepped it up and included horror movies as well. They're also not too keen on any type of superstition either. This could all be changing now.

Derek Randles was the first Bigfoot researcher to contact Justin Smeja about the Sierra Kills . Randles led the July 2010 " Body Recovery Effort " and invited heavy hitters like Dr. Jeff Meldrum, Wally Hersom and   John Mionczynsk to the "kill site". Since quieting down after the big hubbub over nothing with Smeja two months ago, Randles now appears to be making a big comeback-- in a new Bigfoot documentary.

Bigfoot researcher and Finding Bigfoot star, Cliff Barackman just announced a brand new website devoted to the London Bigfoot Trackway . Based on his observation and other Bigfooters like Dr. Jeff Meldrum, the tracks are the real deal.

The next time you're out in the woods and you see something that resembles a Bigfoot, would you shoot it? If you answered YES, then you may want to think about it first before pulling the trigger. For Biologist Michael Merchant, it's not always about Bigfoot. That's exactly why we love him-- you actually learn about other stuff when you're out Bigfooting with him. Stuff like Milkweeds, Butterflies and Mushrooms.

This video is quite interesting to watch. If these tracks were hoaxed, the person doing it was lucky they didn't get hit by a car while doing it. They look nothing like bear tracks, just take a look at the toes! You can also tell they're Sasquatch tracks by their long strides. Seriously though, if we catch anyone saying their bear tracks in the comments section we're going to start banning people.

Steve Kulls is one of the most respected man in Bigfootery and his investigative skills are unmatched. Kulls, who also goes by "the Squatchdetective," is a former professional investigator and Private Investigator. His 18+ years in the field has earned him the respect of the media and he has been in numerous television programs including MonsterQuest on History Channel.

Highway 93 South of Kalispell Montana According to his friend, that Sunday evening on Highway 93 in Montana, Randy Lee Tenley was trying to make people think they saw Bigfoot. It's unclear why he took his prank to a speeding highway and walked into the middle of the right lane in a spot where motorist could not see him. "He had this Ghillie suit and was going to attempt to get the attention of passing motorist and through I don't know what means make them feel like they saw Bigfoot or sasquatch," Patrol Officer Jim Schneider said.

This is sad. This may be the first time anyone has ever been killed while attempting to create a Bigfoot hoax. The 44 year old man was reportedly wearing a military-style camouflage gillie suit when he was struck by two fast moving cars on Highway 93 south of Kalispell:

There has been a myth around for some time that bears were more likely to attack menstruating women due to the odors from menstrual blood. In an attempt to discredit this myth, Yellowstone National Park released a report that says at least in the case of black bears and grizzly bears, this myth is not true, but they still recommend the use of tampons just in case. Obviously this is great news for any lady Sasquatch hunters out there, but the intriguing part about this study is the methodology used to come to their conclusion:

The most amazing thing about the " Bottle Tosser " footage from M.K. Davis is not the Bigfoot. It's what you don't see that's important. In this video by Team Tazer Bigfoot Phil Poling, he puts the footage under the microscope and discovers some shocking details that we didn't noticed before:

Troll Foot Print From Norway There you have it ladies and gentlemen-- after spending two weeks in Europe, the official words from the bishop of Bigfoot, FB/FB says there are no Bigfoots in Western Europe; not even in squatchy looking places like the Atalian Alps. There was absolutely nothing to see or hear... no wood-knocks, no Bigfoots intimidating owls and no signs of werewovles*.

You're damn right the government knows about Bigfoot. Take a look at this bulletin from the US Forest Service posted by Bigfoot Evidence forum member GT3Paul . It says if you're confronted by a Sasquatch near the Big Pine areas, DO NOT RUN!:

The following article offers an amazing description of an alleged Bigfoot's hunting abilities as well as it's ability to move quickly through rocky mountain terrain. Also interesting to note again, that this creature is wearing clothes and is not extremely tall. Could it be a juvenile? There was an attempt to catch it, but it was able to escape due to it's extraordinary ability to move through rock no horse would have been able to maneuver.

Chupacabras allegedly inhabit the Americas, but what the heck are they doing in Ukraine? Last Thursday, villagers in the Ukrainian Chernigov region allegedly spotted the mysterious creature lurking near their mulberry plots. The "hairless fox" had no chance against farmers with pitchforks however. According to residents, the animal "moved like a kangaroo jumping on its hind feet".

This just in from our friend from Ohio, Tim Stover. During one of his daily Bigfoot research at Salt Fork State Park, the Bigfoot researcher said he saw something trying to get his attention and throwing sticks at him. He managed to capture the event on infrared video, and get this: He may have filmed what seems to him, to be an arm of a possible Bigfoot throwing sticks at him. He's currently debating whether or not he wants to share the video on YouTube. Please stay tune for more updates on this!

It's unclear why the change of heart lately, but Rick Dyer is on a straight path to make things right again with Team Tazer Bigfoot. The first thing on his list was to redirect the web domain  TeamTazerBigfoot.com back to its right owner TazerBigfoot.com . Dyer originally bought every web domain name related to Team Tazer Bigfoot as retaliation during the hissy fit between Skunk Ape hunter Tim Fasano and Team Tazer Bigfoot member Damian Bravo.

Can you believe that Finding Bigfoot has already started to film episodes for Season 4? After the network officially announced the third season, the producer wasted no time it seems. Judging by last year's ratings, season 3 will probably be another hit for Animal Planet when it airs this November.

People laugh at the idea of Dogmen DNA being studied by the Ketchum group, but was the recent "Dogmen" rumor leaked on purpose to throw off Robert Lindsay and ultimately discredit him? According to one of our many "spies" in the group, there is NO dogman study being done by Ketchum or anyone associated with her. But why try to discredit Robert Lindsay? And what makes him so special?

In a recent study published in the journal PLoS One, scientists have concluded that Neanderthals were right-hand dominant like modern humans. Though it may seem irrelevant, the importance of right-hand dominance is great because it indicates left-brain dominance, which is important for language.

Speaking of the Sierra Kills , we were just there about four hours ago. The first thing I did when I got home was boot-up my laptop and check to see what's going on in the world of Bigfoot. Lo and behold, right in the middle of checking my inbox-- popped up on my screen was Loren Coleman's editorial, " Editorial: Sierra Kills ~ Folklore, Makelore, Or Fakelore? ".

We reported on the Bigfoot Seekers when we did an article on Hot Chicks Of Bigfoot . The women are located in New England and their alleged East Greenwhich Bigfoot footage was featured on the Rhode Island episode of Finding Bigfoot last season. What makes them so special? They believe that Bigfoots feel less threatened when women are around and their chances of actually seeing one are much greater than it would be for tough guys like Matt Moneymaker.

There's nothing like following an awesome biologist around all day seeing what he's up to. Michael Merchant's extensive wildlife knowledge is indeed fascinating to watch. Raise your hand if you wouldn't mind spending an entire day with this guy!
