A Serious Look Into The Eerie Screams at Hockett Meadow

In this video, Phil plays for us a number of possible sources the "Eerie Screams" may have came from. The Hockett Meadow screams are one of the most popular screams on YouTube and it has caught the attention of producers for the Finding Bigfoot show.

    2. Were these doughnuts jam or custard filled or god forbid were they coated in caramel?

    3. Hopefully for him they're just regular glazed.
Surely he doesn't keep the doughnut holes in his Taterhole.

  4. Phil,
I thought the screams sounded like a Howler Monkey scream I heard at the Lamanai ruins in Belize. Very similar though a Howler is alot smaller than a squatch. An example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdnwLX5m3G8

  5. Man we get so few quality analyses here and this one gets blasted?

I thought it was pretty good.

  6. Thanks phil, I like this because you didn't seem to have a pre-concieved belief. You seem to come at it very wide eye'd. Good Stuff!

  7. Say what you want, that's fairly impressive. Good work Phil!

If only we had this more often.

  8. Very good analysis. I did wonder though if we could have had a human comparison too?

  9. Damnit Phil you're doing it wrong! Don't use logical thinking to try and figure it out, if it's a weird noise, it's bigfoot. If it's a dark blob in a picture, it's bigfoot. Plain and simple.

  11. First, who the hell gets up in the early morning and makes a bigfoot noise analysis? And then, invites people to join and have a coffee? Im surprised hes not in a bathrobe, stroking a cat, smoking a pipe by a fire. I mean damn cmon now Phil.

  14. A quick look at the wildlife at Sequoia shows a population of Red Fox. The vocalizations from this Youtube video sound similar.

Considering echo and such effects through the woods this would be my guess. Seems more plausible than a ... dare I say it? ... Bigfoot.

  15. Always good to rule everything known out before jumping straight to Bigfoot. The people in the vid seem pretty unassuming, not your typical hyped up investigators. The gorilla sounds is similar but there are certainly differences. Very much like the sierra sounds overall. Taking all the evidence and witness accounts into account, it seems typical squatch behaviour.

  16. I can't believe this hasn't been addressed yet......these sounds, whatever they may be sound just about identical to a section of the Sierra Sounds from the 1970's . This to me is very compelling. Makes me wonder as a skeptic. Just damn interesting.

    1. Well I overlooked the last post prior to mine. ChiefMark touched on it briefly and that's why I.overlooked it the first time I skimmed the comments. He's an astute observer. I know one thing, we are spot on in thinking that these mirror the.Sierra sounds. Uncanny resemblance, just uncanny.
