Bigfoot, The Mosaic Evolution

“It is curious how there seems to be an instinctive disgust in Man for his nearest ancestors and relations. If only Darwin could conscientiously have traced man back to the Elephant or the Lion or the Antelope, how much ridicule and prejudice would have been spared to the doctrine of Evolution.” - Havelock Ellis
An interesting quote, yet what Mr. Ellis puts so eloquently at one moment in time was actually true. Every living creature that has existed or exists today came from the same source. This source is what I like to call the evolutionary explosion; that moment when mammalian species branched off on to separate paths and the world was populated by a variety of different animals. Now were does Bigfoot lie in this? There are countless stories and evidence that supports the possibility of a creature closely related to us and some say maybe even in the same species.
One question that I have been pondering is, “how exactly can Bigfoot by some even be considered close to human?” Yet the descriptions and stories related about Bigfoot describe the creature as a wild, feral, hairy, and human-like species. Almost everyone that has told the story of their encounter with the creature describes it as having human features. In some of these cases it has even been suggested that they have a language.
How exactly has Bigfoot maintained these wild characteristics which are reminiscent of our own ancestors like Neanderthal, and why do some describe other advanced physical and biological adaptions in Bigfoot? Some believe these possible adaptations are infrasound, night vision, extra sensory mechanisms, and to a small group telepathy and even traits of empathy. Naturally, no known scientific study has yet proved telepathy or emphatic powers in any mammalian species as of yet.
Interestingly enough there is one creature, the Platypus (from the mammalian order of Monotremata), that demonstrates an exceptional extra sensory mechanism or as some call it a six sense. The Platypus has the uncanny ability to sense electrical impulses in the muscular movements of animals under water and has some primitive and advanced traits. Scientists consider these genetic traits as a type of mosaic evolution.
If Bigfoot has survived and is living an elusive life in the forest of North America and other continents, then it is possible that Bigfoot is just like the Platypus and also has traits which developed into a mosaic evolution. This also explains why some are describing particular morphological traits that describe a half-human, half-feral species. It would make sense as for the reason why those types of traits had been maintained and combined, some staying the same and others through evolution manifested adaptions unique to the Bigfoot species.
So it makes sense if Bigfoot is and has evolved and survived, then some traits had to remain for the species to survive for so long side by side to prehistoric and modern men. Now Wikipedia explains in simple terms, “Mosaic evolution” (or modular evolution) is the idea that evolutionary change takes place in some body parts or systems without simultaneous changes in other parts.” So if this is true then it could explain the fantastical traits and powers some say they have witnessed in Bigfoot during their encounters.
If Bigfoot does exist, then it may be possible that a specimen could answer these possibilities. As man traverses the deep and uncharted parts of our planet Earth, we have come to understand that animals have amazing adaptions that to some may seem incredible and even magical.
I think if Bigfoot is real and one day we can study them, we may realize that it’s not super powers or magic that makes Bigfoot the elusive enigma that drives our curiosity, but actually our desire to understand to see a little reflection of ourselves looking back at us.
Yeah, don't actually bother to read the article it's stupid and gay.
ReplyDeleteAnother way to say it is the author is simply postulating his own far-fetched opinions and ideas might somehow fit into the biological function of an unknown, unproven hominid.
DeleteGet a body or legitimate, irrefutable video evidence and no more of these articles. I was even suprised to see Ron Moorehead talking about the ufo-psychic-Sasquatch connections. Wow.....
TOTAL WASTE OF TIME😢
ReplyDeleteI thought it was pretty good
ReplyDeleteSo Damian no longer thinks Bigfoot is a Giant Sloth?
ReplyDeleteGuy clearly does not have an understanding of the science he is talking about, bigfoot stuff aside his facts are whack. All animals can be traced back to when mammals evolved.... er what?
ReplyDeleteAlex, I think your over thinking this, where does he say all animals can be traced back to when mammals evolved, this is what he stated."An interesting quote, yet what Mr. Ellis puts so eloquently at one moment in time was actually true. Every living creature that has existed or exists today came from the same source." Not that they all derived from mammals as you said. Also he states the mammalian species branched off on a seperate path.
DeleteThis is a nice article Damian, the posters above me or will I dare say Trolls, do not have the faintest idea of what your talking about because they are not educated. Good thoughts on the possibilty of bigfoot if he exist and that is what the critics of your article do not understand, your not saying that bigfoot exist. I see you are pondering some very interesting possibilties if he did. Nice job I enjoyed it, keep them coming.
