    There are huge forest fires occurring right now in Washington state. I'm sure that we'll be hearing some more burnt bigfoot stories, stories that involve the government covering up the finding of dead sasquatches.

    Shawn, I first heard this story on the old Paranormal Podcast on iTunes. Jim Harold had a guest who had read or heard about some FBI files on the incident if I remember correctly.nif you go on iTunes it should still be there.

      There's all manner of legitimate reasons to criticize Shawn, why not pick one (or more) of them instead of nit-picking trivialities and making yourself look like a douche? You could have pointed out that Shawn:

      1. Is a hoaxer because he helps to propagate the Bigfoot hoax.
      2. Proselytizes to children.
      3. Is a lying liar who presents fiction as fact.
      4. Is a gossip monger.
      5. Posted a picture of a deformed, naked, and possibly dead baby, and pretended like it might be an unknown animal.
      6. Is a coward, because he censors skeptic's rebuttals or comebacks if they make the footers look too stupid.
      7. Presents Meldrum, the king of intellectual dishonesty, as a legitimate scientist despite the fact that he utterly disregards the scientific method.
      8. Is Asian.

      But instead you chose to criticize how Shawn communicates instead of what he is communicating. When you do that it makes you look like you don't actually have any legitimate arguments against him.

This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns". BREAKING: Finding Bigfoot Production Company Seeks Filming Permit In Virginia

Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. We'll keep you updated on any further announcements for sure.
