A Lord Of The Rings Artist May Be Trying To Bring The Sierra Kills Story To Life [Rumor]

Robert Lindsay is full of fantastic tales - some are true, and some are exaggerations. When Robert wrote about the tale of two bear hunters and their encounter with Bigfoot, most people refused to buy the story. But as we later discovered, his bear hunter tale had been circulating the inner-circles of Bigfootery before it was leaked and retold.

In a new Bigfoot article published today, Lindsay claims that Justin Smeja, one of the bear hunters who allegedly shot two Bigfoot near Gold Lake, CA, has been talking with a Hollywood animation bigwig. Here's what he wrote:

Hollywood animation bigwig talking to Justin Smeja – cinema version of Sierra Kills may be in the works. My new source in Texas tells me that he found a Twitter account belonging to someone who he would not name, but he said it was “the guy who did the animation for the Lord of the Rings films.”

The source then began emailing the animation guy and ended up having long email conversations with him, during the course of which the source learned a lot. According to these conversations, the man contacted Smeja and told him he believed Justin’s story. “You just can’t make this stuff up,” he said. The man then told Smeja that he would like to bring his story to life via animation. At some point, the man was shown drawings of the adult and baby Bigfoots killed at the Sierra Kills.

No one knows what this all adds up to, but the man said he intends to bring Smeja’s story to life in some way. Whether this will be a full movie or a part of a documentary, no one knows.

  1. I have no idea how much of the Sierra Kills story is true, but it has always seemed slightly believable to me. At least the possibility of this happening. I don't want to down on Justin Smeja either, because there is no telling what any of us would do in a similar situation. If I had a gun at hand and felt threatened by something I couldn't explain I might react in the same way. That being said, wouldn't this make a kind of boring movie. It's an interesting story on its own, but it doesn't seem like you could make more than a thirty minute script out of it. After the Bigfoot are shot and Justin leaves, what's left to tell. If the DNA project turned out to be real I guess you'd have a little more meat for the story, but still a little boring to 99% of the public that don't believe. I would like to hear what Justin has to say about this. Certainly doesn't seem like it would violate any NDA.
Robert, how can you mention correspondence between your phantom source and phantom animator and not provide us with even a piece of said correspondence? I'm fully aware you could fake it, but you didn't even try. Sad when your fake news loses it's zesty flavor of horse shit. These two were bland at best. Yawn, John

  2. Can you say "Fire in the Sky"? Take a story and add a lot filler. Sadly, this is now the norm. Justin Smegma is starting to smell fishy.

    2. Not sure if you got my drift. The movie "Fire in the Sky" had a lot of personal human drama added. I was just thinking in terms of the first post. In other words, its an interesting story for a documentary and not a full length "B" movie.

    3. Secondly, it is some respect it is like "Fire in the Sky". Take a supposed story, because its not proven beyond a shadow of doubt, and write a book...and then a movie...talk shows, etc. It is how American society works.

  3. Although its secondhand this is true i think, apparently Smeja says he hooked up with LOTR visual artist Daniel F (a huge...huge bfoot follower) through Bart Cutino, who arranged it after the artist contacted him.....Curious to see these sierra squatces as the guys work is supposed to be really amazing!!!!!

  4. A guys kills 2 bigfoots and you classify that as boring? What do you require to be entertained? Do you need Justin to open fire on the bigfoots, then have the Avengers swoop in and disarm him, then as that happens Optimus Prime starts a fight with Captain America, only to have them joins forces because Godzilla shows up on the Pacific coast. Meanwhile there is a long romance throughout the movie with Patty from the PGF movie and the Squatch that Smeja shot so then it kinda turns to Gladiator because Patty goes over there afterwards and sees the carnage and begins to hunt down every squatcher that is out in the field. Maybe they can make that movie for you.

  5. I was recently employed by a special effects house in Burbank, CA but was fired because I raised objections over one of our projects. The project was a commissioned Sasquatch based on Patty; part costume, part animatronics. This suit wasn't intended to be used for scientific comparison but as a very high end hoax; budget was in excess of 85K. The results were astonishing and almost identical to Patty. I rose objections after learning who was funding the project and was let go due to claims that my actions were in conflict with my NDA (which I never signed.) If a photograph or video arises of a very convincing Bigfoot please keep my warning in mind.

    4. Thanks, I'm not doubting you saw the new Patty style costume. I dont expect them to pass it off as legitimate footage of a sasquatch though. If you see Ketchum's recent statements on facebook and other places she has stated numerous times how the squatches not only avoid humans but shun technology. What I expect is a DNA study published in some b-list science journal coinciding with a video of some form saying we couldnt get more than a couple of blobsquatch photos of our subjects so here is a Hollywood produced reenactment and a book you can buy about our bigfoot observations.

    5. I guarantee they're up to no good.

    6. Did they provide any other artist renderings or photos for the new suit or was recreating the PGF subject their sole objective?

      Delete
  6. That will always be the problem with any high quality video footage. Whether its real or not there will always be someone coming out with a story about how it was hoaxed. It used to just be regular people creating the hoaxes but if you get fancy Hollywood effects studios involved it may be harder to seperate the real from the fakes.

  7. So Justin a bigfoot witness is working with a recreation artist. Well no $%&# of course he is we could have assumed that much. He even posted on the bff about it months back. This is not news robert

  8. Why would you need a recreation if you had the real thing?

Just one of the things that make you go Hummmm.

    1. Had the real thing? If they did, it would be sortof frozen and stiff I imagine.

I can see it now, a thawed out, half rotted corpse of a sasquatch with strings attached to its limbs like a frankenstein meets pinocchio theme. They could use the thawed out cadaver as the star of the movie.

    2. Yeah, wake up Ed they don't have the real thing.

  9. Ed. I don't think you have followed the story very closely or i do not know how to make sense of your comment otherwise. They have never claimed to be in possession of the real thing sense the shooting. Only a flesh sample.

    ReplyDelete
  10. It would seem to me that if you had time to take flesh sample then you should have had time to chop of a hand/finger or a toe. While distasteful as this my sound if you had a hunting knife and the proper amount of motivation why not bring back the head of the little one.

Not only do you have bone structure but flesh too.

It strikes me as odd that you would need a recreation and one other note I doubt that dainel would be involved as I do know him.

    3. Yes Ed, it would have made sense to me and everyone else if Smeja would have taken the proof with him, but he didn't. That's why it's bullshit. I can see being in shock when it happened or the next day, but waiting a couple weeks to do something about it seems phony.

  11. It strikes me as being odd as well. I do not know the shooter but he had to have had some knowledge of the bigfeet (my opinion). At the very least several cell phone images woulda, coulda, shoulda been snapped after the steak cut and prior to leaving the area. Some of the recent activity of the good doctor also seems strange to me. I do not know of any scientist who would give a rats-ass about creating a face-book page. Seems weird as that is not normal thought process for a scientist. I dont know for sure but patience is a virtue. My bet on this entire matter is another forgery is in the works. I will know for sure when they speak and make attempt to change the "tune" of the story. But, I do hope somebody of good character does how the evidence needed to verify existance

But no effects, physical or CGI, can make me laugh like Bud Costello in the horror classic Abbott & Costello meet the Werewolf.

The Farrelly Brothers should remake that film as, "Abbott & Costello meet Sasquatch."

  14. 85k sounds like a very small amount to pay a special effects crew to create a convincing Bigfoot suit with animatronics

  15. First off i would like to say that Justin Smeja is a very good guy. He is both honest and trustworthy and what he says happened happened. their is zero doubt in this whatsoever. We will all be thanking this man one day when the species is proven. Regardless of how much you hate on him this is a fact.He has done more for this field by squeezing the trigger than anyone has in the last 50 years.
And secondly i dont believe this guy claiming about the 85 thousand dollar hoax. First if its true, list your name and your qualificatiosn so we can back it up. You were fired and you didnt sign an NDA so why not reveal who are and blow the lid off of a huge hoax and earn yourself some credit, if indeed melba ketchum is hoaxing us all. but that wont happen because this is probably the hoaxers from down in georgia. Why would anyone pay 85 grand for a funsy hoax? that makes zero sense whatsoever. To do what put in the erickson film or in a film by melba? What purpose would that serve? none. She has the dna to back up what she says and dna cant be hoaxed. So would she jeopardize true dna results by faking a film. Absolutely not, its obsurd. If indeed, that is, that we believe the ketchum study is real. But even if its not real, why would someone spend so much money on a figure and never use it for anything but a hoax video? that is just stupid and wouldnt happen. Plus big budget hollywood films, and even small budjet hollywood films dont sit around and have planned meetings about making hoax videos. Please come forward whoever you are and back up your statement. AFterall your no long employeed by these people and can reveal this info freely and not be in any jeopardy at all. Please save us from a hoax that could ultimately help you in your film career. Please do all this and prove me wrong? Please list your full name your qualifications and the name of the film group, etc. Prove your statement and earn the respect of this field. But will this happen, no it wont, because its not true.
    Chris

    1. I didn't make the statement but think about it, 85 grand isn't that much to spend on something that could be used in a documentary that could make several million. Yes there would be several people that would know about it and tell the world that it was a hoax, but that's no different than the PG film and those people would only make those claims likely after they collect the film going public's money.

    1. There you go Dan make them pay you to sign a NDA or hold their feet to the fire over the documentary. Their facebook page says the copyright for a film was signed before the data was advanced and nothing was produced. If they spent 85k like you said somebody has to account for it.

  17. New hear, but have an opinion. There are several inconsistencies to JS's story which haven't been discussed. In RL's interview on Jan 26, 2012, JS gave the date of the shooting as Oct 10, 2010. 25 days earlier on Jan 1, 2012, JS said the shooting took place on Oct 8, 2010. Minor details, but he was deer/bear hunting...right? Both seasons tend to run together, but in Zone X7a, bear season started on Oct 9, 2010. Again minor, but I would figure someone who was affected in such a life changing event would remember the date unless he was switching dates to more coincide with his story after realizing his mistake. Next bit of strange info to me was his choice of rifle. In the Jan 1 interview, he said he used a 25.06. He said (paraphrase) ..."it's not a deer gun, but I've killed plenty of bear with it!" A 25.06 (guessing Remington made) is a small caliber rifle used for varmint and small to medium size deer, varmint being a "coyote" gun in particular...shoots a "smaller" grain bullet and lacks penetration in some respect. Not a good choice for bear, but they were there to "kill animals" and it will still do the job I guess. Minor detail, but I find it a strange choice all the same.

I've spent plenty of time in the exact location as reported by JS....Gold Lake area and east between Haskell Peak and Basset. I've backpacked and ridden my XR 600 over every trail, four-wheel drive trail and specifically Forest Route 9. During that time, I had never seen or came upon large amounts of animal scat, as described by JS, on the forest roads. Not saying deer and bears don't use the trails and roads, but they do live in an environment where their food source is located on steep inclines and they tend to travel where they have a food source...same with the big cats! Also, public lands are used a lot during hunting season and game of any kind does tend to feel the pressure...they seem to disappear from main thoroughfares very quickly. They also hear you coming down those unimproved roads long before you ever arrive. What I'm saying is, I find it hard to believe an illusive creature would stand in an open patch of meadow waving its arms for the world to see, much less two "juveniles" remaining repeatedly in the open to be taken as a "blood lust" trophy as well!

From someone who has witnessed something he can't explain, but also having no definitive proof of any existence of BF, I'm having a really hard time believing the details of the "Sierra Killings" or the circumstances leading up to the event. Too many small details which scream total hoax! You hear the BF "crash" to the ground, but are unable to find the body, yet you locate a piece of hide a month later after a winter snow? The young screaming shoot me after taking an adult? I'm tending to believe MK and her DNA findings will be tied to a documentary which will garner no interest except from the "fringe" BF communities which occupy the crypto world! Let the arrows fly...just my opinion!
