MN.B.R.T. Internet Radio host Abe Del Rio just gave us a heads up on an upcoming show featuring Sierra Kills shooter Justin Smeja. We have spoken with Justin Smeja several times over the phone and he's been extremely forthcoming with his answers. We hope that the radio show will reveal some more details about the events before and after the shooting of a juvenile Bigfoot and its mother.

  1. listened to radio show sound pretty off to me. if the bodies were gone where do you get a piece of the meat? weeks later at that. if there was a piece of flesh left behind you would think it would have been eaten carried off or something. does not add up. the adult ran off and he left the kid behind. kid died we know that adult could still be alive who knows. so to get a steak weeks later would mean they had to shoot another one to keep there story alive. have never lived in the wild but common sense tells you it gets carried off by some animal and eaten, as they have never even found a body or bones of a bigfoot. they never found the baby bigfoot means it was carried off after they left, the male would have been around. with all the reading on the subject i understand they travel in a family group. so one would think the male carried off the baby and anything left behind. Reread Randle's account they went back and there was a fetus? If the bigfoot was shot in lung area where did the fetus come from? bigfoot would not leave something like that behind. its family. none of his story adds up. to have the flesh he had to kill another one must have been the other baby or even the male.

  3. The "steak" was found by his dog buried in the snow. Anyway, Ketchum believes it's Bigfoot. That means if he's lying, she's mistaken.

  4. He can still be lying, and it can still be a Bigfoot sample, just not from the source he claims. Who then?

  5. Who is Justin Smeja?

He is a young man, in very good health or so it appears. He is an established hunter and when you look at his age and accomplishments in the field it appears he ranks high and exceeds hunters with much more experience.

There is no major league hunting or national hunting league but you get the impression if there were he would be one of the stars.

If somebody wanted to track and kill a Sasquatch Smeja is exactly the type of guy you get to do it. Young enough to actually be able to move fast enough to track it, smart enough to do it and in a position where if his life would change for the better if we did do it.

Maybe some with alot at stake underestimated what it would actually take to get a Sasquatch. Plan A, B, and C did not work so you move onto plan D last resort- what you did not want to do. You can't and would not say this- it would be dumb- you would just provide a reason for criticism that would only hurt.

Bear hunting is the perfect cover.

BTW he would never be prosecuted. If he did get one then its for the common good. Number 1 it allows them to be protected and number two- do you realize the advances in medicine that would result from the discovery of species like this? Its immune system would tell us a great deal and possibly lead to faster cures. We also for the public good ned to know what is in the woods so we can avoid it.
