And what would you declare the photo if one was presented? Plenty of images of Sasq’ets, tackle the ones you’ve already struggled with before rhetorically demanding more.
8:12 - it is critical to maintain the LARP that it is simply not possible to create footprints with stompers. A huge part of bigfooting has been the footprint casts. Maintaining that they could not be created by anything than a 9 foot ape is vital to maintain the narrative. At bigfoot conferences meldrums casts are a key part of the narative. It has to remain in place.
1st link - The first link doesn’t address Elk Wallow dermals... which neither Jimmy Chilcutt not Matt Crowley have ever done either.
2nd link - "Another factor to consider, regarding Patty's 'foot displacement'...is that she may not have placed her foot on the ground flat, and evenly..(all at once)....but, instead...heel first, and then the rest of the foot. If that was the case, then her weight would have been distributed over a smaller area, at any one point in time....and resulted in a deeper impression than the same weight distributed across the whole foot, at the same time. I think Grover Krantz came up with an estimate of about 600 pounds, for Patty's weight." - Sweaty Yeti
"Most horses are not 1300 lbs, and depending on the gait, a horse is never putting it's full weight on any given hoof at any given time. A bipedal animal that weighs 800 lbs is putting it's full weight on one foot while it swings the other. I have a 14 hand quarter horse in the barnyard right now that doesn't weigh over 800 lbs. Add a rider and a saddle and he still is right around a thousand lbs. But I do not pretend to know what size horses Bob brought down to bluff creek. But if the horse and squatch were roughly the same weight? I could see where the squatch is leaving a heavier impression. If we are to assume that it was a real creature....... Otherwise we then need to figure out how someone could hoax such a heavy impression, without leaving tell tale signs behind." - Norseman http://bigfootforums.com/index.php?/topic/2388-the-patterson-film-trackway/&page=1
3rd link - “At first, I was convinced the tracks were real. Now, after more than two years of closely examining them, I have my doubts. I have since started experimenting with fake tracks to see if I can duplicate what I see in the London Trackway, and a research paper is in progress detailing my findings.” - Cliff Barrackman Again, you can make fake stompers... you can’t fake how a genuine biological foot comes in contact with the ground, and you can’t fake anatomical features. Which is a key piece of data in the Yeren tracks from China that show exactly the same morphological detail of the PGF subject.
And when you’ve quite finished talking to yourself.
Well there you go - Sweaty Yeti, Norseman and Cliff Barrackman - all experts in footprints. Eh - who are the first two anyway? I presume they have names and credentials? Barrackman acknowledges he made a mistake in thinking they were real and you use that as an argument for authenticity of footprints? Wow - just wow.
Actually I'm trying to talk to you but it's like talking to a wall so I might as well be talking to myself.
No, the experts on footprints are those which have the credentials to do so... like the people subjecting this evidence as genuine, like anthropologists and biologists, and those that have in turn reviewed it and ok’d it for punishing. Might I remind you, that nobody in your links had the equivalent credentials.
Cliff is an amateur researcher... and a good one at that since he was willing to test his own ideas.
It’s ok, I’ll be here when you get back to try and ascertain how many role-players are running around the wilnderness of the US, planting footprints, wearing gorilla costumes and lying...
“Conspiracy theories, on the other hand, are tough to disprove. Their proponents can make the theories increasingly elaborate to accommodate new observations.” https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/insights-into-the-personalities-conspiracy-theorists/
I’m still not reading anything that would convince someone against peer reviewed science?
This a lovely LARP. Not just seeing a bigfoot, but a prolonged encounter with the creature showing its sheer strength and brutality - attributes which are critical to the LARP. This just just what the fellow LARPers like to hear. No doubt these campers will be welcomed in to the community. No evidence? Perfect.
There are plenty of people who have reported witnessing Bigfoot hunt. And if an apex predator like Bigfoot exists, it would no doubt need protein. It would therefore be natural that it should be witnessed hunting from time to time. There is no need to doubt some level of these reports, since there is reliable scientific evidence for their existence.
So is the Bigfoot subject all role-play, or misidentification today? Just trying to gage how I would go about asking you for the Bigfoot role-playing population...
If you count everyone who says they have unquestionably seen a Bigfoot or supported their story with so called evidence then it would have to be in the thousands. People lie and embellish all the time, what makes seeing Bigfoot so special? With all the sightings reported it would be absolutely impossible for such a creature to escape detection. You give witnesses way too much credit. Just enjoy the ride - it's all just a fun game.
If you claim the evidence is unreliable, then this is your burden. The evidence for Bigfoot is now peer reviewed, with the scientific method applied. Contesting that with a conspiracy theory is embarrassing.
“... instead of overwhelmingly misidentifications, which is what I believe.” http://bigfootevidence.blogspot.co.uk/2018/03/bigfoot-and-gigantopithecus-are-they.html?m=0
So we’re back to the entire subject being down to “lying and embellishments” again now? Ok... So how many thousands of hoaxers would it take to fake footprints in places where some people might not trek for many decades, hoping that someone some day would stumble across them out of miles and miles of wilderness? Since nobody has that type of patience, or time to wait to trick someone... Far quicker results would need planning as well as the information on strangers’ whereabouts to predict the exact day and the exact yard out of hundreds of miles of wilderness. How many police officers, hunters, lawyers, doctors, teachers, government employees, biologists are in the wilderness and lying about Bigfoot sightings?
We’re finally making some progress on this hoaxing empire at last!
Oh... And if Bigfoot defied detection so much, we would have theee databases of reports (tip of the iceberg), and 60 years of physical evidence. What there isn’t... is an adequately funded study to document a cadaver.
"The evidence is peer reviewed" - this little gem is a recent addition to the LARP that iktomi has been pushing. I have not seen anyone else pushing this one - probably because even the LARPers know they cant get away with that drivel.
The irony here is you’re role-playing the peer review away... as well as role-playing away the 100’s of times your cyber-fantasy world has come crashing down.
ikdummy believes 450 out of 450 UK bigfoot reports are NOT real but constantly uses the roughly 12500 US bigfoot reports to buttress "his" US bigfoot arguments.
Since the UK is 30 times smaller than the US, it has proportionately more sightings but ikdummy will NOT role-play in "his" own yard until someone fakes prints.
Quick, someone create real-looking fake UK prints so ikdummy can role-play in "his" own yard.
Me on the UK - • There are mythologies, there are however no oral histories of Natives in the UK. • I have spoken to some eyewitnesses, they are not misidentifying. • When physical evidence turns up, those eyewitnesses are validated. • That means some portion of the 450 are genuine sightings, once that occurs.
Me on the US - • There are thousands of years oral histories in the US from Natives. • There are more eyewitnesses in the US in two years than have ever been in the UK. • There is no needs for physical evidence to turn up, as there is 60 years of it. Some of which is now peer reviewed. • This means regardless of the likelihood of some portion of the inummerable US sightings being hoaxed and misidentificaton... It is impossible for them all to be.
You on both - • It’s all role-play.
Here’s more perspective as to how pointless your latest deflection technique is... I BELIEVE THAT ALL BIGFOOT REPORTS IN THE UK ARE MISIDENTIFICATION. There, I played your game for a minute. Ok, so now let’s apply your “UK maths” to the US. Statistically I’d be grossly wrong, since the equivalent sightings per land mass in the US is yielding plenty of physical evidence that no theory of mass misidentification can explain away. Suddenly, just like me, you’re wrong and both comparisons cannot be simply attributed to misidentification.
And that leaves your role-players and hoaxers confined to impossible numbers... Are back to 100??
The question is...how many hoaxers would it require to sustain Bigfoot being a hoax? Since Bigfoot does not exist you would just count the number of people reporting seeing it and add the number up. Simples.
As far as the footprints being reported being found out in the wilderness, miles away from inhabitants and where no one has been in decades, it is the ones REPORTING the find that actually made them. No doubt if one would actually investigate they would find the ones reporting these footprints had a strong interest in Bigfoot and would claim they simply come across them.
Lie. I never said it's all role-play as there are many honest misidentifications. You, Joseph F1tzgerald, are a bigfoot role-player. Worry about yourself instead of lumping misidentifiers and hoaxers with role-players like yourself.
For you, it's a faked print in the UK that a Phd says is real and it's GAME ON! Let the UK role-play begin!
Argh yes!! For thousands of years, there has been a culture hopping secret society of liars, all out to gain. These liars, spanning different cultures, and though finding each others customs undesirable, have managed to lie about the same creature with non-human primate features, when they didn't even know what one looked like, and have in fact managed to cheat experts with fake morphological traits that span decades and continents! These liars, of course encompass police officers, hunters, lawyers, doctors, teachers, government employees, biologists... The hoaxing conspiracy is spanning every profession from every reliable pillar of society. Totally logical.
“Psychologists state that those whose personalities tend to be authoritarian are more likely to believe in conspiracies. In need of a sense of control over events, conspiracies provide them with an explanation for those events over which they cannot exert control.” https://www.mentalhelp.net/blogs/paranoia-and-conspiracy-theories/ ... And “Bigfoot doesn’t exist, because Bigfoot doesn’t exist” is circular reasoning, and a logical fallacy. That means logical people don’t tend to use them.
There are comments made by YOU, on nearly every comment section for the past couple of months, and sporadically for the past couple of years, asserting that Bigfoot is all role-play. You are a coward that can’t man up to his rubbish. So tell me... since the role-players are now back in the minority again (sigh), surely that’s an impossible amount of people accounting for all the alleged hoaxing up and down the US? And if all the reports are down to missidentification (again), and bearing in mind the hoaxing community that would be needed to make it all look convincing, where is the room to hoax & role-play evidence?
There is none. You’ve backed yourself into a corner with your yo-yo worming.
“Role-players” who don’t appear to have a single bit of coherency in their alleged methods... who have impossibly low numbers to achieve all the activity and evidence around the US, who are in cahoots with PhD’s, who nobody reports seeing, and who dodge loaded weapons all year round.
These role-players are even more elusive than the Sasquatch.
And again Iktomi stands victorious over the cadre of role players from the James Randi school of twits ! Silly boys, when will you ever learn that you can't win against an ace expert like Iktomi ? I guess some people will just never give up even if the odds will always be against them But three cheers for us bigfoot believers ! cheers !
Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. We'll keep you updated on any further announcements for sure.
Editor's Note: This is a guest post by Suzie M., a sasquatch enthusiast. Crypto-linguists believe that the species known Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti/Yowie ect speak and understand a complex language, which by all accounts seems to stem from Asia. When one listens to it there is definitely a sense of it being Chinese or Japanese. It is a very odd mix of sounds, clicks and what could be actual words. This is the reason some experts are looking into the Asian dialect theory, some have said it could be a lost dialect, which was carried from Asia by the Bigfoot species that colonised America.
This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns". Sadly, there was no DNA samples taken from
I notice there are never any photographs available to support these wild and ludicrous claims...
