Did Bigfoot Kill This Deer? Warning: GRAPHIC!

A bigfoot enthusiast got quite the surprise when he came out the other morning and found this dead deer carcass laying by his drive way. Is it a message from bigfoot?

  1. No because there is no such thing as "bigfoot"

    3. Champion of being wrong? Yes.

Its a sad state of affairs when joe has to keep trotting out the same bits of crappy evidence that proves nothing to anyone. Truelly beyond deluded as to think a species of 9 foot, hyper intelligent, super fast beings that with 100% success manage to NEVER leave confirmable evidence behind (but they leave plenty of the stuff that can conveniently be hoaxed or misidentified) Do the bigfoots from say the north pacific communicate with the ones in florida to keep them all up to date with the fact that they have not let slip with any identifiable information? Do they have bigfoots that scour the news to ensure no discovery of them has been made that they can tell the rest of the community to keep up the stealth and ensure that they only leave crappy footprints and never dna traces from hair or scat. Do they communicate among themselves the locations of all trail cameras? Do they communicate to each other when an aerial thermal survey is going on so that they all go hide underground? Do they communicate to each other to make sure they only get close to a human if the human has no camera but if the human does have a camera to approach just beyond focal range of said camera to provide nothing more than a blurry distance blob?

      Really makes you think

Um... if I'm not very mistaken, you were presented a source of evidence two comment sections ago that was confirmed to be authentic by thirty police fingerprint workers, six physical anthropologists, four pathologists and two zoologists? If it's "crappy evidence", then why do you struggle to reference at least one instance where the evidence for "Bigfoot" has been debunked?

"Measurements and estimates on Sasquatch dimensions, collected over the last 40 years in the Western U.S and Canada, were subjected to statistical analysis and extrapolation by scaling laws appropriate to primates and mammals. The study has yielded average population values for foot length and width, scaling factors of foot length to height, values for weight, plantar pressure, walking and running gait, speed, and a tentative growth curve as a function of time for the female of the species. The results suggest a substantial population with traits different from those of other higher primates and humans."

You see, there's so much of this "crappy evidence" that a certain primatologist was able to deduce all the above information from decades of physical evidence. Doesn't seem like a 100% success rate at evasion to me? That's a lot of evidence to special plead away. You see, hoaxers would have to have guessed a shared morphology of Sasquatch foot, encompassing total accuracy regarding bipedal evolution that only very few educated people understand. Also... Hoaxers would have to place such fakes in places where some people might not trek for many decades, hoping that someone some day would stumble across them out of miles and miles of wilderness. Lastly... To hoax convincing biological dermatoglyphics that are primate in origin, one would have to have a knowledge of all human primate and non-human primate dermals (that not many people on the planet do), THEN fool multiple forensic experts. So much for "conveniently hoaxed or missidentied", eh? D'you wanna learn something about "Bigfoot" hair as well and pretend it never happened in the next comment section?

      (Sigh)

    7. Not a single verifiable thing offered. As always. If any of that was as good as you claim then papers would be written and confirmation would be announced with large (very large) sums of money to fund further research. Instead what you see is some nutcase championing it on an obscure crypto blog comments section. Its fascinating how you buy into each and every one of those claims almost as if you fit the exact profile of the people it is aimed at: Willing to believe, at any cost.

    8. Um... if I'm not very mistaken, you were presented a source of evidence up top, as well as two comment sections ago that was confirmed to be authentic by thirty police fingerprint workers, six physical anthropologists, four pathologists and two zoologists? The manner in which you special plead is bordering on the chronic, friend.

Argh I see... so what you now rhetorically require is a paper about the evidence. You see, what enthusiasts require is evidence that constitutes reason for the mainstream to finally investigate & track the creatures in question, THEN whatever idealistic unscientific system you can demand might be applied. It is a safety net, rhetorical argument to not only require a paper on the matter, but to expect to be able to peer review something that hasn't even been properly investigated yet. Not that this has any bearing on the quality of current evidence. I wonder if you would have required a peer review on Bili Ape tracks prior to them being tracked to finally film one in the wild? The objective outcome of the current state of evidence is that you have the anatomical impression of an unclassified bipedal primate that not only can be falsifiably tested to scientific standards, but requires the same level of further investigation as the Bili Ape enjoyed at this stage of research. However, the extraordinary nature of what this evidence means is in fact what's holding back subsequent mainstream investigations. It means that until extraordinary evidence surfaces (a body), the subject isn't going to draw the attention of a majority of mainstream scientists who would only THEN be in a position to become aware of the many evidences that preceded it. Without this, few will see beyond the hoaxing and pop culture. It's a very detrimental circle caused by what this subject represents; and that a lot of academics being naive for a long time.

And if you're not special pleading at a chronic level... You're now putting words in my mouth regarding what I buy into? I think that statement is audacious considering what people believe very obviously scares you... If only you had better arguments for your time spent, which sadly for you, appears to equate to a lot of worrying.

    9. The usual from joe. A lot of words but not much substance. I mean, I commend you for your passion, really, but unfortunately it does you a huge diservice. It blinds you to what is really going on. And what is that? Well in terms of there being a species of giant apes, not a lot.

I enjoy your bili ape references as if that suddenly makes bigfoot real. Truelly a great imagination. Perhaps you should make reference to the discovery of the gorilla. That is always a belter.

The only safety net being put up is by you. In this example the net is the excuse of "well we just havent looked hard enough yet". Footers have been pulling that one for decades. Decades.

    10. No substance? Um... if I'm not very mistaken, you were TWICE presented a source of evidence up top, as well as two comment sections ago that was confirmed to be authentic by thirty police fingerprint workers, six physical anthropologists, four pathologists and two zoologists? The manner in which you special plead is now bordering on the perverse, friend.

Argh yes!! A man sized primate like the Bili Ape... Reported to exist by indigenous peoples for the past few decades... That was largely ignored by western scientists... Only to be discovered in the late 1990's when these scientists eventually made a consorted effort. Of course, alluding to such a comparative discovery is purely a matter of imagination (how so I'm not too sure?) And on that note... The facts remain that no such equivalent study as materialised for "Sasquatch". And by an ample equivalent, I mean a year long tracking expedition with a team of primatologist. Amateur researchers don't have that expertise nor the resources for that. And for the decades that amateur "footers" having been getting their hands dirty. They have three times the physical evidence the Bili Ape had at this stage of research.

I'll be back tomorrow to respond to whatever special pleading has been left here. Let's hope it can't get any worse than perverse.

It's odd how "Bigfoot" is the only fringe topic where its "sceptics" are more demented and obsessed than its "believers", eh?
