Can Bigfoot Zap Cameras?

From the CryptoWatch youtube channel:

In this episode I discuss some of the theories about game cameras and why it has proven so difficult to capture an image of bigfoot. One theory is that bigfoot can "zap" a game cam and cause it to malfunction. In this episode I also talk about some local news of a man who is booby trapping game cams in my area.

  4. No, Bigfoot cannot zap cameras.

  5. We'll keep this simple:

    1) Bigfoot watches anyone who enters the forest.

    2) To place a game camera it is necessary for someone to enter the forest.

    3) Having entered the forest to place a game camera and been watched by Bigfoot, it follows that Bigfoot knows where you put the game camera.

    4) Bigfoot knows that nothing good can come from interaction with humans.

    5) That game camera is a box of "nothing good" and will be avoided based upon knowledge of its location.

    Simple.

  6. Perhaps bigfoot is capable of "talking" with the animals of the woods...the animals tell it what has been going on..it would seem as feasible as bigfoot being able to mind-zap electrical items.

  7. Personally, I think Meldrum is sincere in his beliefs and his work, however Sakari touched on something that can't be overlooked, the money factor. People are making money off Bigfoot, it's almost like an underground, cult like following of people taking "exploration/educational training trips", attending lectures and "seminars". In fact to be a "field investigator for the BFRO you have to have attended something like different levels of their seminar, then paid to go on an additional number of group field studies.......I don't know what the number is, so that you are completely and totally indoctrinated into their methodology and thinking, and in the process been separated from piles of your money.
And this doesn't even touch on the tons of tapes, DVD's, tee shirts, hats, semi-religious plaques and carvings, glass Bigfoot curios, and various other strange and somewhat disturbing things you can purchase with your hard earned money. Then if you'd like to get a speaker for a group to come out and talk to your respective group then there are those lecture fees and travel expenses things. For instance, you can have Cliff Barackman come and give you one of his super-duper, have you rolling in the aisles lectures on Bigfoot and when you leave you will be a true born again believer in all things Bigfoot. His exact fees are between the $5K and $10K, depending on audience size, and all travel, lodging and meals. There are specifics on the travel, lodging and meals, which will only be sent out to "serious inquiries only".

    3. Science acknowledges reason, empiricism, and evidence. How this is relevant an enthusiast's situation, is that there is reason to invest that enthusiasm in the subject matter based on the accumulated data that accounts for the experiences of tens of thousands of people, spanning different cultures, that is supported by means of physical and even biological evidence that can't be scientifically shown to be false.

Religions include revelation, faith and sacredness, and how this is relevant to the pseudosceptic's situation is that they have nothing but dataless opinion void of any scientific factual basis, with a requirement to be devoted in expressing their faith at every opportunity.

Scientists & authors have always toured seminars for their hard work, and if more people want to attend and pay then this is evidence of their ideas becoming more accepted. The finances to fund more research aren't coming from anywhere else.

I am guessing English is not your first language? If it is, then please, please, go back and finish high school.

  8. >>It is of interest to me also how he and a few other previous skeptical people such as Les Stroud, Renae Holland and Dr. Sykes have become more sympathetic to believers

Because they talk to them and find out how much money they are willing to shell out for anything monkeyman related. Pretty sure the GREAT BRYAN SYKES is not giving his book away for free. You think Les Shroud is going hungry anytime soon? And one must wonder how much money Renae Holland brings in from her show?

Money will answer all your bigfoot related questions. Just ask the family of that ol cowboy Roger "conman" Patterson
