Two People In Georgia Witness Possible Thunderbird

From cryptozoologynews.com: Thunderbird? Two People Witness Large Bird in Georgia-

ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. — An electrician in Bartow County on Monday said he and his sister came across a large bird they were not able to immediately identify.

Clifford McLure, a 54-year-old Adairsville resident, told Cryptozoology News that the event took place on March 10 at about 2:00 p.m. near his town.

“I was flying the remote control airplane, it was about 400 feet,” he said. “A large bird flew out over tree tops going North about level with the airplane,” he added.

McLure believes the airplane startled the bird as it flew close by.

“It turned left 90 degrees and let out a loud scream and continued flying West.”

  1. Look, chaps, bigfoot have only been in North America for 1000s of years. Mountain lions weren't discovered until 2003. The first clear photograph of a bear was 2009. Deer hadn't even been documented until the mid 1970s. Bigfoot are much bigger than all those animals so its easier for them to hide. Realistically, I'd say we should be able to get a real photo of one by 2144 and we'll be able to actually capture one by the year 3000.

Not only that, but because they are 9 feet tall, 500 lbs, have bloodcurdlingly loud screams, CRACK!, SNAP!, SMASH! and BANG! on trees, hang out in people's backyards, and are in at least 20 US states and Canada, it is extremely hard to locate one.

    1. I don't know what's funnier... His meltdown or the fact that he thinks that's a credible comment.

    2. Here is a real funny true story. My neighbor invited me over to see her baby boy named Fernando. When his mom left the room, i promptly peed in the kids face and then ran away. Minutes later i looked through the window and saw the mom beating the child for wetting the bed. Man i laughed.

    3. I got your back, Iktomi. He thinks he's making fools out of us but he's making fools out of no one. I don't have the time to look it up right now but I can almost guarantee that there were clear photographs of bears before 2009.

    4. Regarding the tree-knocking comment, Bigfoot use tree knocking as a form of sound propagation to navigate at night as well as a form of communication. The sound created by the branches hitting the trees are such low frequency, I'd say 290 kHz–300 kHz, that sound detecting devices rarely record them. Julian Treasure suggested that they can vary frequency by 30% depending on branch thickness.

    5. I have a theory that they also use the sound of limb beaks as intimidation. The louder the break, the bigger the limb, the bigger and stronger the individual.

    6. I have a theory that Bigfoot are from another dimension and can zap in and out of ours at will. UFOs have a similar ability.

    10. We all have to stay on topic. I know that I, too, get off topic from time to time because of the distractions but this is a Bigfoot site after all. I'll have something interesting to say about the Freeman video in a couple of weeks. I'll have an update on my take on the Brookreson tracks, and I'm diagramming a frame of the Patterson film. Stay tuned.

    11. Iktomi- your theory does make a lot of sense. one simply has to study animal behavior especially among primates to see so many similarities

    13. Fake Joe... You've obviously never bothered to take a look at how non-human primates intimidate, nor the intelligence described in the reports of Sasquatch behaviour.

  3. Probably just a turkey vulture. It is notoriously hard to gauge size while a bird is in the air.
