New Breakdown Video: Bigfoot Cornered!

In this video, Phil Poling of Parabreakdown fame takes a look at an amazingly clear piece of bigfoot footage from the great state of Michigan. In this video a bigfoot is apparently cornered by a person who happens to have a video camera handy. Unlike many bigfoot videos, the subject is close, and fairly clear for part of the video. This unfortunately is also its downfall. Have a look:

    2. This bigfoot clip takes stupidity to a whole new level.

      This isn't asinine. It's asiten.

You have to be a dim bulb to fall for this bigfoot BS.

The guys who made this BS knew that there are gullible dumbasses who would fall for this.

  2. "He got calls from absolutely everywhere," said Mr. Murphy. "And he went everywhere. He spent years and years in the bush," he said. "He never, ever found anything when he was out on his own. But when he responded to others, to reports, he'd scout the area, and he'd find footprints. He'd take statements from people, he'd interview everyone.

"His passion overwhelmed him. But one day he said to me: 'You know, I've spent over 40 years -- and I didn't find it. I guess that's got to say something.' "

That's as close as he ever came to admitting defeat.
Mr. Dahinden died last week of natural causes. His memorial will be held at the Vancouver Gun Club, in Richmond, tomorrow.

    1. One has to wonder what Mr. Dahinden would think now if he was still alive. There have been many who started off believing and over the years have become disillusioned and skeptical. I know - I'm one of them. Even with the "evidence" presented it seems to have no impact in complete acceptance. Day after day of reports and sightings and yet we appear to be no closer to discovery - it's difficult to maintain a belief without some doubt creeping in. I suppose if I had seen one with my very eyes and felt it could not have been anything else then perhaps I would continue to believe as well.

    2. I imagine it must be disheartening to search for so long and not find one.Finding a bigfoot is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack or winning the lottery which i intend to do this Sat :)....i believe they exist but encounters are 99% down to chance xx

    3. 4:18... Is this the first time you've ever come across this quote or something? It's getting a little cringey. Anybody who knows anything about Renee Dahinden, knows how cynical and how much he came into conflict regarding calling out plenty of researchers as hoaxers. As the good anon started on the previous comment section, he believed the PGF authentic to the end... And contributed to one of the best track collections ever. Unfortunately, Renee didn't get close enough with his methods to seeing one, that's true of too many researchers to count.

Mr Curious... I would like to say that the current state of evidence is not as useless to everyone and when you consider its frequency, one can easily deduce that none of it would be left of there wasn't a creature out there leaving it. It comes down to one simple premise... If these things didn't exist, people wouldn't be seeing them, and they wouldn't be leaving tracks. It's a leap of faith to suggest that all of that is inaccurate. Saying that... It must be so ******* frustrating for someone like you to have had an interest this long and not come by the goods.

Something to think of... The Hoopa, who refer to this wild human as the "Boss of The Woods", have always said that he's there, but you never see him. That doesn't mean that the Boss of The Woods never sees you.

      Peace.

    8. Well lktomi that's just it - the current state of "evidence" is convincing to those who are predisposed to believing it in the first place yet it has done nothing to change the minds of those who can give it official recognition. Yes, some people ARE seeing something and yes, there are footprints however people can lie or be mistaken and footprints can be misidentified or hoaxed. You see there is two sides to this coin and I have been on both. I have realized it is also a leap of faith to believe that such a supposedly huge creature seen so often (if one can believe all the reports here) could escape detection for this long. I believe my strong doubt really began with the increase of technology at our disposal. It may be "Boss of the Woods" but if it exists it is not God of the Woods and therefore susceptible to make a mistake. It is either the most luckiest and most elusive creature for it's size and where it is spotted or it doesn't exist. I now subscribe to the latter.

    9. Mr Curious... Might I remind you that most researchers today are just that because they have had unprovoked experiences. Most of the scientists I reference have looked at the evidence in an effort to debunk it... Yet they have turned out to stick by their conclusions. The reason that this has done nothing to change the minds of the mainstream, is because they're either unaware such evidence exists, or simony don't care because a body will suffice and nothing else. That doesn't mean the evidence doesn't exist.

Again... The frequent of evidence CANNOT all be explained away as lies, missidentification or hoaxes. That is a leap of faith an accordance with the reliable eyewitnesses that have reported them, not to mention cases of multiple eyewitnesses at one time. And that's the thing... It hasn't evaded detection, because we have the physical evidence and the reports. It's like telling ten people in a row that they haven't seen what they claim to have seen, and then suggesting that if these things existed, we would see them more often? It's rhetorical, it's closed to the available data. We wouldn't have the evidence and reports if it were not subsceptible to mistakes and curiosity... Whilst we have two notable hits with thermal technology to reference in recent years, that show subjects in the region of 8.5 and 9 feet tall.

    10. Yes, you have researchers who support that it exists and I must also remind you that they are far in the minority. One would assume that with all the "evidence" and sightings lots more would have gotten on board after all these years but it's still a relatively small number who support the existence of such a creature. Indeed there are some such as biological anthropologist Dr. Todd Disotell and primatologist Natalia Reagan who have stated they would like nothing better than for Bigfoot to exist but still cannot support it based on the evidence we currently have.

Here we have an impasse - you state that the frequency of evidence cannot all be explained away as lies or misidentifications. Indeed - this would seem most unlikely. On the other hand this same frequency of evidence should be much further along in revealing the existence of such a creature. It's certainly possible for such a reportedly large creature to escape being discovered . . . for a while. But to have well over 50 years of consistent reports from eyewitnesses along with evidence collected and be no further along in proving it's existence is puzzling to say the least.

For every person who climbs aboard the believing bus another steps off. There are those who are in for the long haul and how long will that be? Another 10, 25, 50 years? A lifetime such as Mr. Dahinden invested? I have no malice towards those that believe but I simply can't maintain that belief anymore. What is a reasonable timetable with our ever increasing technology for it's proven existence? I know I would be thrilled to have it proven real and I'll wager many (now) skeptics would be as well. But for me the interest is now the personalities who are involved with it. Some are thoughtful and reasonable individuals and some are as fanatical in their belief as those with a religious fervor. This is why I stick around - it's intriguing to me.

    11. Mr Curious... What's in the minority, are the scientists who actually take the time to look at the current state of evidence and come to the conclusion that it is all down to missidentification, lies and hoaxes. Regarding scientists who actually know the full extent of the evidence accumulated so far, this puts Disotell and Reagan in the minority. With the development of the Internet and the exchanging of ideas and experiences, why is it that we now have some of the very best conservationists and primatologists being enthusiastic? Why is it that we have the most pioneering geneticist on the planet conducting field research?

For 50 years of research, Mr Curious, we have hair samples, dermal ridges with species traits across samples, audio that cannot be hoaxed and even thermal hits that cannot be normal humans in the wilderness... This is the extent of the research accumulation and all without a consorted professional effort by mainstream science. For this creature to have existed this long, it would have to be like nothing we have ever been aware of, so to evade capture for the last 50 years is not a surprise to me considering the last few hundred years that have a steady flow of anecdotes across cultures... And especially because there are reliable scientific sources that attest to giant human skeletons being found in the US. If one of these specimens from the last 150 years was in a museum to this day, then people like yourself would be less pessimistic to wild versions residing in the wilderness of the US.

For much of the last 50 years, the field has largely been looking for a bipedal gorilla... When the methods as to locating a specimen are so shoddy, there is no wonder that long interested people get fed up.

I would say that it's not so much religious fervor on the part of some, but more like a genuine frustration not akin to losing patience with the field, but towards how people can deny what's clearly in front of their eyes.

    4. Yes I have my friend! I've heard from many people who've seen them in full throttle, claiming that they can achieve serious speed. I truly believe that this is one of their key attributes to evasion. There is an amazing account by Mike Phillips on Mike Merchant's YouTube channel that explains the motion and speed they achieve once in quadrupedal mode. Those long arms tear through the brush and ground, basically. Would you like the link to that? Also... The Leaping Russian Yeti, my favourite footage of all time, shows a Sasquatch switching from bipedal to quadrupedal motion so quickly it's scary... All whilst maintaining top speed which kind of puts what they can achieve on two legs into perspective too.
