Bigfoot Captured Coming To The History Channel

Bigfoot Captured is a new fictional television special on the History channel premiering November 9, 2015. Check local listings for times. The series takes the following perspective:
Bigfoot is America’s most legendary creature, and has always inspired more questions than answers. Could something resembling a massive man-ape really be roaming forests and hiding in the shadows undetected? Whether you believe in Bigfoot or not, there’s something provocative about the idea that we could be living with an unseen monster. But what if one day we did more than catch a glimpse of one? What if we captured the creature? This two-hour special, compiled by a director who traveled the world looking for proof Bigfoot actually exists, takes an unexpected turn when a Sasquatch capture is caught on camera. What happens when what most of us think is fiction becomes fact? And what does it mean for us all if the creature really is out there.

  2. It's all fun, games, and turds, until you consider your real life and reflect on how it's turned out. You spend your daily life on a bigfoot website vomiting out the same turd filled phrases, the same tired, rehashed way of attacking Iktomi, the same non sensical replies to yourself.......this is all day, every single day of your existence. It's not that it's annoying really or bothersome to the roughly 100 people that comment on the site, it's that it's actually your daily life and that's actually truly sad, and I feel really bad for you. I hope you find some help some day, and that's in all sincerity and compassion. I've truly never seen a troll with the depth of attachment and hopelessness that you must endure every day. Sad...truly Sad.

    2. Yeah no shit! MTV has like what MAYBE 2 total hrs in the morning where they actually play videos ! You must have bumped your head if you think capturing Bigfoot wouldn't be the single most important discovery of the new millennium??!! I think someone needs to go back to history class!!! Genius

  4. I believed in Bigfoot but she never believed in me. Oh well, I wish it could have worked out but it just wasn't meant to be

  5. So this will be like Finding Bigfoot where they never actually find Bigfoot. Bigfoot Captured will never actually capture Bigfoot.

    1. Yep another mountain monster episode. Dumb at least finding bigfoot gives an attempt of realism. I won't be watching another episode. Like it says its FICTION.

  6. This looks like a docudrama.

  7. Finding Bigfoot gave the whole mystery of Bigfoot a real bad name. Matt Moneymaker is the worst, biggest joke and makes the people that approach it with sincerity look bad.

  8. Looks kinda blair witchy to me...
Good thing Monday Night Football is on.
Gotta publish as anonymous, don't want anyone I know to know I actually watch this crap.

    1. They caught something in the cage. They tranquilized it, took hair, blood and saliva samples, but then the next day it escaped because someone forgot to lock it??? They never showed the results of the hair, blood and saliva analysis. The acting is horrible and they seem to have unrealistic reactions to the boulders being thrown. Why didn't anyone try picking then up themselves ? Way many more questions than answers. Won't waste my time on this scripted fiction ever again. Shame on you history channel!!!

  17. Why is fake stuff on the History channel? Sellouts

    ReplyDelete
  18. Scripted means fiction. I think there is evidence to support bigfoot, but why run something that tricks people into thinking it's real. Like Discovery channel's Shark Week contains scripted shows. If someone actually caught bigfoot, it would be in the news. Too bad the trail camera's memory cards got corrupted, and the cage was left unlocked... could have been in the news.

  23. This was a real disappointment. I've lost a lot of respect for the History Channel. What is the purpose for this junk? How did I get suckered into wasting two hours of my life. Ugh

  24. I am getting *really* tired of these fake "documentaries".

First it was something about "dragons" several years ago (anyone remember that one?), then it was "mermaids" and "megladon" (the prehistoric giant shark) - And now this!

I don't mind being "entertained" - but don't play me for a fool. If something is entertainment they should say so in a disclaimer in the program somewhere.

The History Channel used to be really good back in the day. But now they are going the way of all the other "garbage" channels.

    My Two Cents.

  25. OK I'm definitely going to stop watching History Channel for this pile of shit. Stupid bastards. Bad enough seeing fake scripted garbage on discovery TLC and NatGeo, but this is a huge new low for me. Shame on you History.SHAME! Join me banning these channels until they learn a lesson.

  27. One question people can any of you read? new fictional television,
fictional television. what if scenario. What if we did capture him is this what we want to do with Big Foot if we capture it? What if it is more a man then animal then what? Should we keep in caged like an animal? Should kill it so we can study it? Fictional people, making you think about your choices in a "what if scenario" No different then the Walking Dead folks which I am sure you all know is a What if scenario I hope.

  28. This show is despicable. To promote this as a scientific documentary when all it is is the Mermaids docudrama out in the woods is so blatantly a displayed big Middle Finger to anyone who took the time to watch more than three minutes of it. The supposed creature was so obviously fake and the actors should take lessons from people who star in Mentos commercials.

Hey, History Channel. You're so wrong and you ought to be ashamed. But clearly, you have no shame.

    2. This one was alive, ironically in a cage. And the Park is on the East Coast. Shen National Park. Dual rotor Heli not black but, green with no other markings. My Dad saw it too, and he noticed there were no tail markings. He was acquainted with Military Heli's. We heard whatever it was calling out sort of like the woops you hear on all the shows. But, more organic and like a gorilla that had gravel for breakfast. None of the stuff on tv sounds like it. Not that I have heard. There were other woops in the 2 different directions. Military men & Park Rangers were all there, surrounding the cage. The cage was actually a trap that is used to move nusance bears from campgrounds but, larger. The park was closed, we were there because a family member

    3. Was employed with the Park Service. I asked them what happened and was told it was a "Search & Rescue" and the person was hurt because they were caught in the trap and couldn'nt get out. Much smarter than telling a 9 year old kid (me) not to talk about it. So there is some of the backstory on my above comment. And yes I never saw whatever it was in the trap. I will leave that up to whoever reads this to make they're own conclusion.

  32. I, thought that Bigfoot looked a little too clean and well groomed to be real. I bet his poop didn't even stink.. Great CG I bet it gets an Emmy.

  33. I'll be requesting that my cable provider cancel the history channel. This was a new low for them. Now it will be impossible to believe anything they show or have shown. Paying to be scammed is not cool and I don't want any of my cable bill to be paying for this crap.

  34. Man I just watched a show of the Alaskan "Bushman" or "Bigfoot" attacking a man on tv. Then he comes out saying "he tried to attack me but I scared him off." BULLSHIT!!! Do you seriously think a creature known to be be a natural born killer would be afraid to even take out man. I don't think so.
