A Closer Look At The Freeman Bigfoot Footage

Youtuber The Forest Pond takes a look at a classic piece of bigfoot evidence, the Freeman Footage. Captured in 1994 by Paul Freeman in the Blue Mountains of Oregon, this footage is considered by many to be authentic.

    1. ....Which one? There is another less well known clip that seems to have been swept under the rug...We never get; "Here is Freeman's first clip..Remarkably he struck gold again! Here is his second filmed encounter..."...Credibility=0.... Although there is a theory that after some initial success in discovering evidence, Freeman began to manufacture evidence after years of failing to repeat the early successes....

    2. 11:41... What you never appear to address, is that Dr Sykes has taken hair samples collected by both Freeman and two other government employees, samples that are linked to a direct sighting where tracks were sourced also, and has had some very, very interesting DNA results. Also, there has been innumerable instances of habituation where people report multiple encounters, only for people to argue, "where is the footage, photos, etc". It might not have anything to do with anything Freeman was doing, it might simply be down to everything the Sasquatch was.

There is no evidence that Paul Freeman was a hoaxer.

    3. Yeah, anyone who filmed bigfoot twice is a hoaxer.

The Freeman Footage is a hoax. That's it. End of story.

    4. ...^Lol.....Joe, I did not know( or recall) that a sample in the Sykes study is from the Freeman collection.. How strong is the providence on something like that? Anyone can say " this hair was found near a track cast by Freeman"...The evidence of hoaxing is the quantity of evidence, most of which was found after he retired..The evidence discovered while he worked for the government would of course be the earlier evidence thought to have a better chance of being legit...These ideas on Freeman's evidence I got from a proponent who responded, like you, to my questioning the quantity of evidence.(something Rene D did as well as you know)...Thanks

    6. 4:18... Yes, anyone can put something in writing around here, it appears your reassurance exercises don't make things as true as you would prefer, however.

5:57... Apologies for seeming so short with you, I didn't know it was you. There is a troll around here that writes a lot like you (uses "..." a lot), and I thought it was him.

Anyway... Ok, the hair sample being studied is consistent with many other hair samples in Fahrenbach's collection, that have been linked to their own reports of activity, tracks, etc, that have the same uniform morphology and have been verified by different camps of primatologists.

To me, the quantity really isn't an issue. If for the amount of years people report active areas, then it's just a matter of time that someone should get a series of sources of evidence, right? Well this happened 20 plus years, I just wish the cynics (not you) would acknowledge such facts when they're screaming rhetorical nonsense from the roof tops.

      Hope you are well.

    7. ...No need to apologize, especially since you take the time to write informative responses..You are right, I am not a cynic, just from the cautious and conservative school of cryptozoology...Take care...
