I Can't Believe How Much Information There Is About The Lizard Man

In South Carolina, something lurks the Scape Ore Swamp, and it isn't bigfoot. Locals call it the Lizard Man. Half man, half lizard, all terrifying.

The Lizard Man is reported to be approximately 7-8 feet tall, bipedal, covered in green scaly skin and nocturnal. His eyes glow red at night and his head and face are like a cross between human and snake. He has a center ridge that comes from the top of his head to his snout. He is described as well-built and has only 3 digits on each of his hands or feet. His claws are reported to be black and ranging anywhere from 2-4 inches long. No odors or sounds have been reported in connection with the Lizard Man but, when you have 4 inch long talons, who really needs an offensive odor? He seems to reside in the Scape Ore Swamp of the Pee Dee River region including Sumter, Florence, Darlington and Lee Counties. He predominantly hangs about Lee County near the town of Bishopville, which has an approximate population of 4000.

Reports of the Lizard Man are said to have started in 1972 with oral stories but there are legends among the Native Americans of the Inzignanin near Chicora—sandwiched between North and South Carolina—of fishy humanoids covered in scales. However, these fish-men were only 5 feet tall, had relatively inflexible tails approximately 18 inches long and as thick as a man's arm (similar to that of the alligators or crocodiles) and webbed hands. They consumed only raw fish and are said to have died out when the fish population was depleted.

    5. There are no skeptics that post here or anywhere else about Bigfoot. They would not waste their time. The simpletons that post about it daily on the old JREF are every bit the footer Creekfreak was.

  2. I think lizard man is a bigfoot that for whatever reason, living in the swamp, takes on this appearance. Maybe it camouflages itself with mud or something. Some sasquatches are said to attach leaves, twigs, etc. to their hairy coats.

    1. The witnesses seem pretty clear about what they saw though maybe there is another type of bigfoot...don`t the various tribes-peoples say there are 4 types ?

    2. Yohannis from Paris,

No, varioius tribes do not say there are four types, there are some researches who have speculated on four types of sasquatches noting some differences according to regions, like a more rounded head as opposed to the more cone shape of the Pacific Northwest. Wes Germer has promoted this idea on Sasquatch Chronicles.

    3. Witness accounts vary for lizard man, from some seeing something that looks scaly to an account of it looking Black/Green and Slimy,

Lizard Man sightings are mostly limited to South Carolina swamps and it could be a regional camouflage by some groups there or some kind of result of swamp living. But I believe they are bigfoot since everything else about them fits that profile.

I've researched this subject in the past for an article that I wrote.

    5. The site troll frequently turns the tables. I've noted how he makes childish comments and here he calls me a little boy. When I noted he frequently answers his own posts like he is a different person he turned the tables into lktomi, me, and some others all being the same person.

I've noted how he plays here and makes childish statements whereas others want to make serious contributions, and here he turns the table that I need to leave because this place is only for serious bigfoot researchers.

But people know he's the non-serious troll, that these are all lies from the site troll who only comes here to feed his sick need to disrupt the comments section, who is very disturbed indeed, and I actually do hope he can overcome his malady.

    4. I know there is a type of night vision camera that was being commercially used that you could use to see beneath people's clothing, like looking at women in bathing suits during the daylight and picking out details underneath, and manufacturers quit using that type of night vision.
