...Lol...
DeleteBroken branches, knocking in the distance, yep, no doubt about it, it's a bigfoot hotspot.
ReplyDeletewhy course it is...
DeleteI didn't give much thought about bigfoot's existence until I was staying in a cabin near Mt. Ranier in 2011. Late at night, I was almost asleep when there was a very loud crack of what sounded like a large stick being whacked against a nearby tree. After that, I was wide awake going over in my mind what could have made that noise. After thinking about it, I came to the thought that what else could it have been but a bigfoot. No animal in that area has the ability to pick up a stick and whack it against a tree. What person would have been out there in the woods at about 1 AM? That's highly unlikely. It was kind of creepy in the cabin after that.
ReplyDeleteWell of course it had to be a bigfoot because the idea of a rotting branch breaking and falling into another branch below never happens in nature and is just a stupid explanation. Makes much more sense that it was bigfoot binging you wide awake.
DeleteWas the tree surrounded by 4 morons and a 36 member production team? If so, I might have a plausible theory for you.

DeleteRacer X,,on point,as always!
DeleteLOL. It really is a true story. I was just about asleep when I heard this loud whack coming from behind the cabin in the woods. After that, I was wide awake wondering what could have made that noise. I was going through some animals in my mind. We saw elk nearby that day, but they couldn't make that noise. It sounded like a person picking up a large stick and whacking it hard against a tree. I started to get concerned that there was some kook in the area, but then I thought who would be out in the woods behind the cabin in the dead of night. Then for some reason bigfoot came to my mind. By default, I couldn't come up with any other explanation. Of course, it could have been some human out there in the woods, but I found that hard to believe.
ReplyDeleteMy wife was asleep when it happened. My brother and sister-in-law both heard it too from their room in the cabin two rooms down. We talked about it the next morning. We were up late laughing and talking the night before and probably turned in around 12:30 AM. My wife went right to sleep. It was our first night in the cabin, and I always toss and turn a bit in a strange bed. As mentioned, I was just about out when I heard the loud whack coming from somewhere behind the cabin. It was around 1 AM.
Believe me, it wasn't a decaying branch. It was definitely a big stick being hit very hard (it was loud) against a tree.

Now of course those branches broke under the weight of snow however occasionally a branch breaks under it's own weight and sounds just like that. Add the effect of it being magnified being in the forest and during the night and it would seem extremely loud.
But hey, if it makes you feel better thinking a bigfoot caused it, knock yourself out.
How can you tell someone what they heard? Was snow even involved in his experience? Just because you don't believe, there is no reason you should tell someone what they heard.
