This week our guests are Steven Streufert and Ian C, co-founders of the Bluff Creek Trail Cam Project and the Bluff Creek Film Site Project. The Film Site project was originally formed in 2009 in order to locate the Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot film site. The team successfully located the film site in 2011 and continued to perform field research and surveys to digitally reconstruct the site and ascertain exact dimensional data from the film and make accurate measurements of the creature’s pathway and size. The Trail Cam project was launched in 2012 in order to systematically install high end trail cameras throughout the Bluff Creek area to capture the movements of the area’s inhabitants. Steven also writes a popular blog named Bigfoot’s bLog, runs a bookstore named Bigfoot Books in Willow Creek, CA and also runs the Facebook group Coalition for Reason, Science, Satire and Sanity in Bigfoot Research. ReplyDeleteHey Jon, I don't believe bigfoot exists but I'm here. Just thought you should know that after repeatedly asking people that question lately. That's the state of bigfoot, it's belief, because there is a massive void in any facts. As long as something requires faith because there is a lack of academic proof, there will be those anti and pro crowds.

DeleteOpen to the possibility is a broad statement. I don't actively believe in Sasquatch but I don't close the door 100% on it. There is always the possibility, however slight it may be. I'd consider myself more in the 99% category.

You cling to the fallacy that science only considers flesh and blood, yet forget that science has been applied to determining evidence prior to that selective application and cannot be denied. You hide behind a refusal of mainstream science to participate like it's some justified ruling body over it. Science doesn't choose or prejudice. Also, we have type specimens that have been documented by big hitters for 200 years.
