    1. Listen all enthusiasts...

      This isn't conventional but I would seriously recommend everyone go back to this blog page;

      http://bigfootevidence.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/melba-ketchum-tells-dean-cain-shes.html?m=0

... And read what Tzieth has to say particularly about cover-ups; some of the best stuff I have ever read and if I was Shawn, I'd be putting this stuff as a blog page.

I can't stress highly enough how good this shit is to read, enthusiasts get all over it.

All woo topics end up with "the government is covering it up". This is the inevitable eventuality when looking for something that doesn't exist.

    4. Doesn't matter if there is a cover up or not, that wouldn't stop someone from shooting one and only telling 1 or 2 of their closest friends or family to 'get the atv, Harry! We got us a biggun!' Then showing up at their local media outlet (face it, if there is a precious cover up, your local @5 isn't in on it) and still shocking the world.

It's not like you're dealing with UFO and ET's, you're dealing with a flesh and blood creature (supposedly) that are numbered in the thousands (breeding population) and in all continental states (rhode island, really?) in The United States.

There's absolutely no reason for it and all logic behind it is flawed.

Name the rarest animal in the world and people still find them and kill them, sell them, eat them, skin them, stuff them, hell...there's even freaks out there that'll f*8K them...

But not bigfoot. You know why? Because it's not a flesh and blood creature, it's a phenomena.

    8. Furthermore, you have Dan Shirley yesterday claiming that not only was his submitted hair sample that came back bear, attained during hibernation, but his SD cards went missing... This is just another instance where eye brows can be raised.

Look at the Smithsonian for crying out loud! Do you know how much of a paper trail there is of giant skeletons being sent there? It's laughable how many people dismiss this stuff when it's there in front of your very eyes... Furthermore, there are more and more researchers jumping all over this because there is so much information out there... Not Bigdoot researchers but impartial authors who aren't in denial!

Check out some 411. Hundreds of missing people in national forests up and down the country and not so much a piece of disclosure by the forestry commissions as to details and not even lists drawn up of these people? Yeah, right. Why would special forces be drafted in on a couple of ocassions and kept from the general public, and why would these soldiers then proceed up mountains into various other valleys of wilderness areas? These missing people are sadly predominantly children that falls in like with ten thousand years of native culture and understanding of such behaviour.

    9. You do know that bears don't truly hibernate, right? That means they still get up and out, they don't go to sleep on Tuesday the 27th of December and wake up one day in May.

It's all buulllllllsshhhiitttt, just like it always has been.

      Phenomena.

    10. *Black Bears...

I cannot speak for the biological actions of bears from different countries and subspecies.

      Delete
    11. Blonde black bears are one of the most evasive and least known about. They are also resident to Canada and British Columbia... Is it plausible to claim that one would travel to the Sierra's during hibernation?

      Delete
    12. Wrong again Bobby Boucher.

"Approximately 70% of all black bears are black, though only 50% of black bears in the Rocky Mountains are black.[34] Many black bears in Northwestern North America are cinnamon, blond or light brown in color, and thus may sometimes be mistaken for grizzly bears."

      Delete
    13. Am I? You still don't account for how a blonde black bear can travel from Canada so the Sierra's during hibernation.

"Bears do not go into a true state of hibernation. Instead they go into what is called "torpor". A state of reduced activity accompanied by lowered metabolism, heart rate and respiration. They typically do this as a result of lower food availability. When in torpor bears may be in deep sleep in their den and might not wake at all even when entered by people etc. but they may also stir, go out, feed, walk about etc."

... Not travel from Canada to the Sierra's.

Where do you get off stating that color is only native to BC?

We had a cinnamon and a blonde checked in a few weeks ago in my state on the eastern side of the country. We always have several color varieties killed every year.

But what do I know, I only live in America and hunt the species, fuck me right?

      Delete
    15. Hell last time I was inside the actual office of our local Game Commission (not just the weigh station) they had a full body mount of a blonde black bear that was hit by a car.

      Delete
    16. Joe, you of all people should not be shocked nor stating anything about bears after what Sykes did to your Yeti.

Or did you block out those results?

      Delete
    17. Hello Crampz... You have a nerve asking me to stop harassing you when you now resort to anonimaty.

I get off stating that because Dan Shirley said that. Also..,

"Two rare color phases are found in coastal British Columbia and southeastern Alaska where populations are isolated by mountains. The Kermode bear, a subspecies of black bear (Ursus americanus kermodei), lives on a few islands along the coast of British Columbia. Most of them are black, but in some areas up to 20% are creamy white and called Spirit Bears."

      Delete
    18. Through history the people to that region have used the name Yeti for a couple of different creatures all categorised under the label of what the word translates to 'that thing' or 'that creature'.

Three supposed Yeti samples for someone with closure desperation would seem conclusive... Three samples to even an impartial viewpoint would suggest that three samples; are three samples.

Think how little an amount that is. To suggest that these samples were 'the best the world has to offer' is quite a claim and one from a viewpoint that does not consider how big a region that place is, to which ironically for the skeptic... With the discovery of a new bear begs the question; 'what else is hidden out here.

The footprints example taken of the grizzly bear in America simply does not account for prints with dermals, scaring and toe bending.

      Delete
    19. Are you paranoid?

Dan Shirley and Dan Campbell can say what they want but unless it's backed by science, it doesn't mean diddly.

We're not talking about a subspecies of bear or black bear, it's an anomaly in genetics not a subspecies. It happens nationwide in their habitat, uncommon but not unheard of.

Notice all those ticks and fidgeting that Dan Shirley showed off too? Psychological issue, perhaps PTSD from Vietnam. Perhaps Neurological.

Him and Matt Moneymaker are the last two people I'd trust with anything.

      Delete
    20. And still... You elude to the point I'm making, blonde black bears, not by my opinion but my many other sources, wouldn't travel from Canada to the Sierra's during hibernation.

I know it's Daniel because he's using bold. I really don't see why we can't have a civil debate, but what makes me laugh is he suggested I was harassing him the other day and them goes under anonimaty at me?

Dan Shirley provided one of the most comprehensive examples ever recorded on footage of wood knocking communication. This was completely forgotten about when they tried going down the same disgusting labeling tactics of mental illness and religious ideals that skeptics use regularly when they have nothing else. The fact that he is a Vietnam vet is merely convenient for such a reason. Dan isn't a professional in front of camera but a nice, everyday guy, probably quite nervous in trying to articulate his feelings.

      Delete
    21. PS - Anybody with half a brain can use HTML tags in their posts. Do you think Dan magically does it? Here's a hint...since google is your #1 tool, go look up some HTML tags.

You keep referencing a subspecies an not addressing the facts that any black bear population, no matter the location, can have blonde and cinnamon phase black bears. It's a genetic anomaly, not an evolutionary outcome.

The bear wouldn't have to walk about from BC to the Sierra's...it was in the Sierra's to begin with.

Your friend John W. Jones preachers that wood knocks and howls are pure garbage, as well as preaches about the nocturnal statements are garbage...yet you always want to praise him.

It's like bigfoot is some all-encompassing superman figure to you.

News flash: Somebody is lying...is it John, is it Dan, is it Joe, or is it all of you?

I'll go with option C, Alex.

    22. I'd just like to say isn't it a bit peculiar how often things are 'convenient' in the footer realm?

Kooky researchers, crazy eyewitnesses, cover up cop-outs, paranormal claims...

All ends up with one end result...lack of physical hard evidence.

    23. Speaking of eluding points, Joe, you have been eluding anon2:20 this whole time. You cherry picked one sentence and went on a tirade.

Try ingesting the message of the post before glossing over it.

    24. ^that is exactly what you would expect to occur when dealing with a creature that doesn't exist. Exactly what is expected happens every single time. No bigfoot.

    25. It is widely accepted that woodknocking is a means for the Sasquatch to communicate to each other about the presence of us. This is something both myself and John agree on, however there are plenty of results of which would contradict that notion. The fact that Dan got a woodblock back could quite easily have been for warning reasons. Either way, he got it on tape and this was conveniently left out when they judged him.

I can and have, referenced countless sources where biological evidence has been documented. That's not kooky, paranormal... That's anthropological & archeological studies from some of the longest standing universities in the the country. It makes me laugh that you can avoid that and maintain that Bigfoot is outside of the realms of scientific possibilities when you have everything to counter that in the libraries up and down your country.

For the record I WANT bigfoot to be real. I don't NEED bigfoot to be real. The need for these creatures to exist is what makes people to lose objectivity.

    32. Despite their name, black bears range in color from blond through various shades of brown to black. About 95% of bears in the Sierra are some shade of brown and only about 5% are truly black. Color changes through the year are common in bears. Guard hairs start bleaching immediately after the molt, which occurs sometime between May and September. Molting is signaled by the appearance of new guard hairs, which are shorter and darker. They first emerge around the eyes and lower limbs, and then extend up the limbs and down the face and flanks, finishing along the spine.

    34. Yeah, you can have your blonde bears in California thing, I did my own research and found the same conclusions... I was merely reiterating what Dan Shirley claimed on the video posted yesterday.

Blonde bears in California don't debunk a cover up, blonde bears in California don't debunk Bigfoot.

Understandable you should jump all over that, cause I don't see you countering subject matter that is the reason I logged on here today though... To show you a thing or two about what's really going on.

    37. Joe. I don't know if you're linked into this thread. But I went back and read Tsieths Macro Evolution Government agenda commentary and found much of it compelling. Problem. Tzieth espouses a premise early on that troubles me. Sasquatch are nocturnal. It is said as of it were scientifically predetermined. Like Dan C watching the new Ancient Aliens broadcast I was disheartened. Look. I engaged Tzieth personally only once. Just long enough to understand that whomever they are they are certainly Intelligent and Resourceful. I have engaged John Jones many times and find him to be experienced and enlightened. But presupposing a Sasquatch is primarily nocturnal or vegetarian troubles me. I have personally seen evidence of predation I have personally seen and heard and experienced daylight activity. As you can tell from the Dam Shirley thread, I believe whole heartedly in the failings of agenda driven scientific research as it pertains to this phenomenon. I find the same troubling truths arise from agenda driven footers believers or enthusiasts who seek to enlighten or inform after they have made a Conclusory statement. Please follow up by email. M

    2. Anecdotal evidence, yes.

Anecdotes don't find, classify, categorize, recognize, and validate species.

    3. Ten thousand years worth with tracks and video footage should do.

    4. I wasn't aware the Clovis civilization possessed that technology.

Ten million trillion anecdotes do not find, classify, recognize, or validate species.

      Delete
    5. They do when you have the frequency that this subject has, accumilated with the physical evidence there is also. Tracks, anecdotes and footage were good enough for western science to investigate the Bili Ape, and when there was finally a collective effort; it was recognised.

      Delete
    6. And the transition of accounts from ten thousand years worth of native culture into modern day mediums is what I suggested previously.

      Delete
    7. Animalism and personification, with a spice of cultural 'spook' stories so the budding teens wouldn't sneak away to pork.

Actually, the Bili Ape was already highly speculated about because of poachers, pictures, and bones before it was ever studied.

Plus they aren't 9ft 800lb human like creatures...they are big chimps.

Anecdotes don't mean jack diddly in terms of hard evidence, they are just good yarns told from person to person.

      Delete
    8. For years and years the Bili Ape was denied by science after the natives to the region had told accounts of it. For decades people indigenous to certain parts of the Congo region in Central Africa spoke of apes they refered to as “lion killers.” Said to be chimpanzees the size of gorillas, these apes were the subject of a Michael Crichton book Congo which was considered to be fiction when it was made into a film. Starting in 2009 a team of scientists had studies them for two years.

The civil war started in 1998 and finished in 2003, the natives had spoken of these chimps for a ridiculous amount of time, plus... Any physical evidence attained was after science acknowledged it; pretty telling considering there hasn't been such an effort from mainstream science for Sasquatch.

Whether they are chimps the size of gorillas, or giant hairy bipeds, the principle is the same.

To go with the ten's of thousands of eye witness testimony (a lot of which multiple person), we have thousands of years of Native American culture. Thousands... wall paintings some 8 feet tall true to size and if you know anything about indigenous culture, you would know that ceremonies, dances, utensil designs like baskets, all these things indigenous people do to pass down historical events, identity and culture because, as some may claim; written texts can be manipulated and missinterpreted. There is an easily attainable timeline of Native American culture by the determining the age of settlement sites. Burnt wood and other means have been used to carbon date areas where indigenous peoples who maintain the Bigfoot culture have resided.

Not being actively studied by science doesn't mean it's being denied, you pood.

I see you're back to pseudo logic again, well if A is true, maybe B is true and if B is true that means C is true, for C to be true, D has to be true...

    10. AHAHAHHAHA JOE I HAVE NO MORE WORDS!

Now a certain number of anectodal evidence should validate a species? Well, sorry to ruin your day, but science does not work this way, physical evidence validate a species. Again, we do have bones from 65+ million years ago of monster creatures and still we do not have a single bone from a living species roaming half of the world. And do not talk of acidic rainforests, because in Cretaceous the climate and so the environment was far far far more acidic than now! Go to study and then come back please, poor ignorant!

Let's validate dragons, elves, trolls, unicorns etc. because there are anectodal evidence also for them!

    2. 12th Annual Report of the Bureau of Ethnology to the Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution 1890-1891
      (published in 1894)
      (Pike County, Illinois)
No. 11 is now 35 by 40 feet at the base and 4 feet high. In the center, 3 feet below the surface, was a vault 8 feet long and 3 feet wide. In the bottom of this, among the decayed fragments of bark wrappings, lay a skeleton fully seven feet long, extended at full length on the back, head west. Lying in a circle above the hips were fifty-two perforated shell disks about an inch in diameter and one-eighth of an inch thick.

12th Annual Report of the Bureau of Ethnology to the Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution 1890-1891
      (published in 1894)
      (Kanawha County, West Virginia)
Spring Hill Inclosure, Kanawha County, West Virginia. In the bottom of Mound 11 (upper left) was found a skeleton "fully seven feet long."

Largest in the collective series of mounds, the Great Smith Mound yielded at least two large skeletons, but at different levels of its deconstruction by Thomas' agents. It was 35 feet in height and 175 feet in diameter, and was constructed in at least two stages, according to the report. The larger of the two skeletons represented a man conceivably approaching eight feet in height when living.

At a depth of 14 feet, a rather large human skeleton was found, which was in a partially upright position with the back against a hard clay wall...All the bones were badly decayed, except those of the left wrist, which had been preserved by two heavy copper bracelets...

Nineteen feet from the top the bottom of this debris was reached, where, in the remains of a bark coffin, a skeleton measuring 7½ feet in length and 19 inches across the shoulders, was discovered. It lay on the bottom of the vault stretched horizontally on the back, head east, arms by the sides... Each wrist was encircled by six heavy copper bracelets...Upon the breast was a copper gorget...length, 3½ inches; greatest width 3¾ inches...

"Pathos (plural: pathe) is an appeal to the audience’s emotions, and the terms pathetic and empathy are derived from it. It can be in the form of metaphor, simile, a passionate delivery, or even a simple claim that a matter is unjust. Pathos can be particularly powerful if used well, but most speeches do not solely rely on pathos. Pathos is most effective when the author or speaker demonstrates agreement with an underlying value of the reader or listener.

In addition, the speaker may use pathos to appeal to fear, in order to sway the audience. Pathos may also include appeals to audience imagination and hopes; done when the speaker paints a scenario of positive future results of following the course of action proposed."

    1. Why is it in a court of law, that a 1st account eye witness is the strongest kind of evidence in a case where a criminal is convicted? Can not ignore eye witness accounts. Especially group eye witnesses whom all make nearly the same statement.

      Delete
    2. Standards for evidence in law and biology are vastly different. Poor comparison.

      Delete
    3. 5:10anon nailed it.

Besides, most criminal cases have some type of hard evidence, ie. fingerprints, clear video or photo of subjects face or distinguishable features (tattoos, etc.), the footwear they were wearing having the same soil deposits as crime scene, cell phone tracking, credit card/ATM/debit card usage, monetary serial numbers, and most importantly DNA matches.

It's also argued on a basis of what the current interpretation of the law is, the judge, and the jury.

Law and biology are vastly different.

But hey, I heard Elvis is in Kalamazoo right now, might go and see if I can spot him.

    4. Law has to convince 12 random people on a jury, Biology is repeatable, verifiable hard evidence that can be shown and explained.

    5. There's also court cases where murderers have been convicted without a body. Type in 'April Jones of Wales murder case' into Google search for this.

      Delete
    6. In America those cases are because of technological advances for the most part.

Still doesn't make a difference, you still have to convince 12 random jurors in law. Biology is repeatable and verifiable facts, it's not up to interpretation.

      Law is interpretable, bottom line.

    11. Historically convictions of murder without a body have been hard to prove, forcing the prosecution to rely on other kinds of evidence, usually circumstantial. Onciously, modern developments in forensic science have made it less likely that murderers go unpunished.

      Language
      Footage
100 years of printed news media
      150 years of university studies
Ten thousand years of native acknowledgment
Tens of thousands of eyewitnesses (multiple person much of)
      Unknown primate DNA
      Thermals

That is essentially Joe's argument for Bigfoot.

      Delete
    2. 1. Every animal has dermals, no species is ever been validated with dermals.
      2. "Language"? What the fuck that means? What argument is this?
      3. All blurry and inconclusive. Inconclusive because you can't rule out the possibility of an hoax. No HD video ever made.
      4. Oh well we all know that news media give always true and verified news, right?
      5. Yeah and none of them coming to the conclusion "Bigfoot exists"
      6. Natives had tellies of many other monsters or superior beings, nothing new there
      7. We have tens of thousands of eyewitnesses of lake monsters, megalodons, mega-birds, chupacabras, aliens, wolfmen, etc. Again, nothing new here
      8. Last time I checked one of the biggest expert in DNA came up with bears, racoons, beaver, horses and 100% homo sapiens sapiens DNA. Nothing unknown
      9. See point 3

You know what is lacking? BONES
We have bones of monsters lived 65+ millions years ago, and still no bones of supposed living thousands of Bigfoot roaming half of the world. Again, you seem to evade this argument, don't come up with the "acidic forests" argument and that dead bodies decompose quickly, in Cretaceous and Triassic the atmosphere and the environment in general were far far far more acidic then now, CO2 concentrations were at least an order of magnitude higher.

    3. I've thought about this 100 ways to Sunday and proving they exsist is not going to work we now they exsist so big deal the govt doesn't won't to have it come out due to the impact on forestry industry !!! Bottom line just like the spotted owl everyone knows about that so I want to get payed $$$$ bottom line!! So if I can shoot one then I can film one and show who ever in the forestry industry , here it is now what do u want to do?? U want me to go back out shoot one and bring it to the news !!! Haha don't think they will let that happen so joe what are your thoughts???????? Have a good day buddy!!!

  14. The Questions are:
What is a Big foot researcher?
How does one become a Big foot researcher?
What qualities, skills one must have to be a serious researcher?
    Does a sighting/encounter, make you a researcher?
Does a story, one tells, make him a researcher?
How does a "City bred" researcher differ from a "Seasoned Outdoorsman"?
Is one a Big foot researcher, yet never goes out in the field?
Is one a researcher, who never gets out of his car?
Is one a researcher, if they don't go beyond a couple of hundred yards from a road?
Does a Big foot club, that goes out in the field only on weekends, qualify as researchers?

Can anyone answer 'Maturely" these questions?

    6. From what I can tell, the qualifications for Bigfoot "researcher" are:

      Mullet
      Beer Belly
      Cut off shirts
      Unkempt beard
      Plenty of Camo clothes
      Grade 9 education
      Baseball cap ( sometimes optional)

There are probably many others, but these seem to be the minimum requirements.

    7. Hey Canadian Guy! Working on my book, as much as I can. Right now i'm busy trapping, and looking for a pack of Wolves, probably came from your country.
They'r making a mess of things. We got their pattern figured out. Their hunt range, is almost a 60 mile circuit.

I was in a local paper that claimed i shot one, but their info was wrong. I shot a 75 Lb. Coyote near a ski range. Because "she" was so large, it was mistaken for a Wolf.

Writing this book is both hard and easy. I don't want to include all the BF history stuff, that's been written in over 40 books. I'm trying as much as possible to include Facts, but of course, what constitute Facts? It's all based on one's perception.

It will be a 2 part book. One is all about very detailed hunting and search methods (We use, as compared to others). The other part, is all about our 10 year adventure in trying to prove something, that most "City bred" or "armchair experts" say don't exist!

The last chapter will not be written until June. During our May 2014 expedition, we "will be" taking a true hardcore skeptic (No, not Danny boy) He's a Bear hunting guide from Maine. With 40 years of outdoor experience, under his belt. He's no pussy! It'll cost me about $2,,500.00 to bring him in. I pay, out of my own pocket!

My publisher wants it finished by October 2014. Joe F. and Mike B. will help me along.

Well anyway, have a merry Xmas. Contact me anytime. If you have any ideas, I would like to hear them Canadian Guy!

      Chronic denialism

      Fear
      Anxiety of the unknown
      Requirement of reassurance
      Closure desperation
