Statement from Dr. Jeff Meldrum On Sykes Yeti Study

Dr. Bryan Sykes may have proven that there's an undiscovered polar bear in the Himalayas, but what skeptics fail to understand is that Sykes did not prove that there isn't an undiscovered primate. Dr. Jeff Meldrum has done extensive research in the field of footprints and he's confident that footprints like the one above represents an undiscovered ape in the Himalayas:

Just to add my nickel's worth, in light of recent conversations with journalists --

My concern is that the results from examination of a single gene from only two hair samples, of potentially questionable origin, would be taken as the final resolution of the yeti question, which is a complex phenomenon. To the sherpas the yeti is the embodiment of the spirit of the mountains. That spirit can be manifested physically in various forms -- a bear, a man-like ape, a pilgrim. My examination of footprints attributed to the yeti clearly shows that many are indeed bear tracks. The famous mountaineer Rheinhold Messner developed the thesis that the yeti was a merely a bear, based largely on this ambiguity.

Dr. Syke's findings are interesting, and reinforce the role of bears in the phenomenon, but they do not conclusively answer the question of whether there is an unrecognized ape species in the Hamalayas. From my field of expertise -- footprints -- the best evidence for an unrecognized ape species comes from the McNeeley-Cronin biological survey of the Arun Valley. An exceptionally fresh and clear trackway of a bipedal ape was observed and documented. (see attachment depicting my reconstruction of the foot based on the track photos and plaster cast, which was seized at the border). It suggests an arboreal ape with a divergent big toe that clearly inhabits the high forested valleys and occasionally crosses the intervening passes leaving tracks in the snow.

The "yeti" has only to do with sasquatch in that it may be another relict species of primate, as yet unrecognized by science. Descriptions of sasquatch and their footprints are quite distinct. - Dr. Jeff Meldrum

The BF Files clearly proves that those yeti prints are double bear prints. They also clearly connect the yeti lore to a general misunderstanding. They also prove it's a bear with DNA.

So it could be a possibility. The Hebrew refers to the HarryMan only once i think, maybe twice. But it refers to "Giants" many times. I think the Giants are Neph's, but I think Bigfoot is like the cursed outcome of Cain. They, if that is wgat they are, did not get in the DEEP amount of trouble as the Neph's.

There cave been several reports of these things saying Enoch.

Just so you know ----- Both Cain and Able had sons, or decendents named Enoch. The one from Able was the Enoch who wrote the books and was favored of God.

The son of Cain was said to be Giant and went all over the world building monuments --- purhaps the Giant Monuments we Don't understand?????

These things do seem to be able to perform supper-human feets of strength?

  15. I have a primary research area in Alberta Canada. I have been researching this area for 3 years, with lots of success. Many tree formations, footprint castings, hair samples, audio recordings and a partial bite impression.
A couple months ago, I showed the area to Todd Standing. Todd was very impressed with the area and as a result he has returned many times. He recently brought out John Bindernagel and Jeff Meldrum, which is awsome, he had both of them sign disclosure agreements because he is planning a documentary in this area. Even though I introduced him to the area he has left me out of the loop as to what he is doing there. Even when I ask him, he tells me that everything is confidential due to his documentary. What Todd did not know is that I have been discussing this area with Jeff Meldrum, for about a year now, in hopes of having my area used as a test run location for the falcon project.
This is my primary research area that I introduced him to to get gis opinion, not to have him take it over and leave me out of the loop. It is a matter of ethics and respect, which I feel he has none and I have come to the conclusion that Todd Standing can not be trusted. I have spoken to John Bindernagel, whom I know and John knows me, and he is now aware of the real circumstances. Todd had given him the impression that this area was discovered by him and that it his primary research area, when in fact, he was introduced to the area by me. I have also sent an email to Jeff Meldrum, whom I also have met and know, in regards to this and I am awaiting his call to me so that I can explain in more detail about Todds deception.
Todd is deceiving me and the high profile sasquatch researchers he is bring to my area.
Any advice on how to deal with this would be greatly appreciated.
You can call me if you like, 780-807-4222, ask for Aaron.

The owners of the property are not researchers and do not wish to make any official report, they do not wish to take the chance of their name or location to be made public. If this is a possible juvenile bigfoot as they were told, then they would like to try and understand what all the tree and stick breakage and manipulations could possibly mean. Who is the go to person who is truly into the investigation of bigfoot and not the profit they could get from it? Who can one trust?
