How Much Space Does Bigfoot Need?
In North America, there's an estimate of around 10,000 Sasquatches roaming the forests. Bigfoot researchers believe bears and Bigfoot share similar habitat. For every Bigfoot there are at least 68 bears they say. One question that's been asked a lot in the community is how much space does a Bigfoot need? Chris Billingsgate, a researcher in Connecticut, ponders this question:

ReplyDeleteif you give every person in the world an acre we would fill up Australia and the rest of the earth would be empty. All that matters is water and be over 7,000'.
DeleteLast.
ReplyDeleteJust saying...
Only goofy douche-bags still use "just saying ..."
DeleteBut then you're a troll, so it makes sense.
For a "troll hunter" you've made a mistake - so perhaps you should visit troll blogs instead of Bigfoot blogs. Or preferably go look underneath bridges and stay there.
DeleteJust saying...
First to say first!
ReplyDeleteA single Dominant Bigfoot needs at least a ten mile radius in a game rich area to survive.
ReplyDeleteHow can you determine that, when we don't know much about Bigfoot as it is?
DeleteHell, we don't even know that it exists, for one.
Although I believe (and hope) it does.
Just saying...
What makes you come to that conclusion Rush?
DeleteWow, I can post again! It wouldn't post some of my comments on the Sykes thread! Best make the most of it by saying Leon, you know nothing about politics, history, non-Christian faiths, biology, genetics and you only have a basic grasp of the English language. You are also a huge dumb, bigoted fucktard and I'm sorry to see you back on here.:)
DeleteI do know that they exist i have seen them and expect to see them again.anyone who does not believe or isnt sure or would like to see... your welcome to come out with us and we will share our experiances with you
Delete@6:57, Knowledge and collaboration from my fellow researchers. @6:54, I hate to say I believe... I believe that there is a god out there, Bigfoot, well, I know exists.
DeleteFair point. I take it you've seen one then, to come to the conclusion that you know they exist?
DeleteJust saying...
You submit anything to Sykes Rush? Didn't you submit samples to Ketchum before?
Delete@7: 02 Never left, been here the whole time. and you think you can wrap your head around bigfoot?
DeleteHaha ha ha ha ha ha hah ah ah ah ahah ah----------------- Idiot!
WHEN YOU FOLKS WANT TO SEE HOW SOMEONE REACTS WHEN THEY GET PAWNED----- SEE 7:02!
Ps. 7:02. whatever made you think I did and then caused a responce like that?
Deleteha ha ha ha ha ha ha hha hah ah ah ah ahah ------------ pawned idiot!
BTW, a ten mile radius is 201,061.76 acres. I've submitted nothing to Sykes, I only deal in private maters.
DeleteFemale, libtard pawned idiot!
DeleteLeon you've never pwned anyone you are just a redneck
DeleteBigfoot will never be proven because you guys would rather stand around and kick each other in the balls. Hilarious to read but its never going to be anything but comedy central.
DeleteOh, and this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFMDGSWhHbo
DeleteI don't know where this guy is but the woods are georgeous!
ReplyDeleteI guess Conneticut.
ReplyDelete10 square miles seems legit
ReplyDeleteTo determine how much space a Bigfoot needs, we need to count the number of Bigfoots and divide by the area they inhabit. Therefore, I conclude that 10,000 Bigfoots can dance on the head of a pin.
ReplyDeleteor the head of your dick
DeleteHarsh
DeleteAnd just as an FYI -- a male Florida Panther needs 160 square miles of territory.
ReplyDeleteAWSOME...... posters are discussing the subject matter. AND NOT THE 3 or 4 little egos that usually hog the thread...UNBELIEVABLE!!
Delete^ oh well. nevermind..
Deletewow, i can post without signing up!
ReplyDeleteEureka.
DeleteThey must travel great distances.
ReplyDeleteA factor in why they are rarely seen perhaps?
DeleteJust saying...
They use invisible spaceships or use inter-dimensional subway systems
Delete..barf..
DeleteHey Mike, sure they do, I am talking about their home range. I know they for sure follow migratory animals such as Elk and indeed herd them. They get very territorial over their herd.
DeleteThey get VERY territorial over their herd ?
DeleteHAW HAW HAW !
A common notion and a very interesting one. Staying close to a reliable food source. Deer are so overpopulated in Texas. And Hogs and Javelinas. Just sooo much food. But yes. I believe the small clan on my ranch would depart if we developed or allowed hunting or encroached on them. But we do not.
DeleteHere in southern Ohio there is an abundance of food as well and they stay here year round. I am talking about the northwestern Bigfoot Mike (Montana up through Alberta, BC and all the way to Alaska), I do believe they follow migratory ungulates and herd them.
DeleteRush I agree. I've heard that when the elk herds come south into Native American territory that they discuss the local clams coming closer to the reservation lands to avoid these "others". JC Johnson has spoken extensively on this and they called him a quack for it. Then again, JC also had the audacity to suggest that here in the high Rockies a bear may exist that is closer in relation to the Giant Short Faced Bear, which we all know is so farcical because its living relict relative was confirmed to be alive and well tonight. :).
DeleteWhen these territorial encroachments occur , according to JC, the local population will stay very close to the farm or barn or other structure to either protect themselves or the human inhabitants allegedly, from these interlopers and of course it can cause problems and disrupt the balance. ,
DeleteHi Mike, i've been coming on this site for the last few months and have noticed you and joe fitzgerald posts about bigfoot. You guys are very knowledgeable on the subject and I enjoy reading your comments. I myself am split down the middle on this topic about whether they exist. I had an experience as a 8 year old down in southern ohio in which I saw something that walked on two legs and had alot of hair or fur. I thought it was a bear but couldn't make it out. Years went by and I heard about bigfoot when I was in high school and thought to myself, could what I have seen been a bf. I will never know but now i'm an avid footer. I enjoy going out and searching and camping at the sametime and have heard several weird sounds that I can't explain. Anyways can you elaborate on the difference between the northwest bf and the southeast or midwest bf. I heard the northwest bf is much larger and is more territorial. Just wanting to gain more knowledge on this subject. Thanks and keep up the good work.
DeleteI can. Lets examine bears as a prototype. The larger coastal northern brown bears and even larger polar bears are bigger because they live in colder environments and need more calories to sustain themselves. The largest reported sightings of multiple Sasquatch that I've heard about featured some huge 12 footers in Alaska. A woman who was a bush plane pilot and her wealthy husband purportedly wished to build a reclaimed home from natural products in a fly in only area in Alaska. When she returned to the building site her house not only wasn't finished. Huge beam timbers had been removed and the home had been disassembled. The pilot asked the contractor what happened and he simply said Sasquatch. She tracked down all the workers and eventually all of them said they would never return to the area again. In my research area in the thick cedar groves of the Texas Hillcountry I have heard from the locals that 8 foot would be the max. Here they prefer hogs and small deer rather than elk and Mulies. As to your sighting. Man. That's awesome that you recall the event. Sometimes things get etched in our mind. A tip. When you go out footing. Look for things in nature that shouldn't be there. Like giant limbs being drug through areas or stick t ps right off game trails that you could sit in comfortably. Hope all that answered some of your questions. Come to Texas. I'll take you out anytime. M
DeleteThanks Mike.
DeleteMike the BF expert..?...that's pretty funny ! woooooo! and Andre' the giant had big feet..
Delete@anon 12:56 / 7:08
DeleteThe northwest bigfoots are generally the biggest in north America. They generally are seen in black, to dark brown and auburn like an irish setter. you will see reports of some graying or patchy -- Smega, coyotee colors.
The midwest and gulf states will show a wider range and color add in tans , blonds whites grey. If you get a six or four toe one, probably also gulf states. Alot of gulf states reports come down to 6 / 6-1/2 feet. The midwest squatches are reportedly the most agressive. However, I know of a couple spots here in Cali where you will get run out quickly if there around -- very aggressive. If you listen to many of the Tribes across the country -- two species. One nice and one a killer. Suposedly ------- If you see the Glowing red eyes or if the hide lacks hair ---WATCH OUT!

ReplyDeleteHmmm...If a large hybrid bear could stay hidden this long...?
I'm eating a sandwich with a sasquatch right now. After we finish eating, we're going into my bedroom for some filthy man-beast sex.

DeleteBigfoot Roommate" sequel ?
Mooooo Moooooo Moooooooooooo
ReplyDeleteHerd commin' in.
HAW HAW HAW !
Hey ! You better leave that herd alone...it's Bigfoot's !
ReplyDeleteHAW HAW HAW!!!
Figure 1 Bigfoot per 100 acres. Which is 1.9 million Bigfoot in the National Forest alone. Double that for the minimum total U.S. figure, and double that again for Canada. Which brings us up to 7.6 million minimum in North America. The 10,000 WAG number, like the tetrahedron, is a complete crock. It doesn't match with the numbers that the research expeditions have been running into, after covering very little ground outside of their own camps.
ReplyDeleteBu, but, wu, where are they hiding, says the scientard to the Wise Man? The Wise Man replies, "in time, you will learn that they are paranormal, and live in the 4th dimension as free as a bird." And scientard replies, "bu, but, th, that means that the anthropology and physics books have been lieing to me all these years". To that, the Wise Man replies, "and that is precisely my point, young grasshoppa!"
Besides coon hunters avd poachers and long term campers or fishermen. There really aren't that many people in the woods at night. Meth makers perhaps. The occasional mobster disposing of a body. What I'm saying is if they manage to stay hidden during the day, the woods at night belong to them.
ReplyDeleteChris Billingsgate answers the question in this video when he says:
ReplyDelete"nobody knows... because you can't even find them..."
Any other discussion on the subject is for entertainment purposes only.
In that case Shannon we should go to bed. I'm too tired to entertain and I'm not sure you are capable. Rest well.
