Les Stroud And His Son Featuring In "Survivorman Stalking Sasquatch"

It looks like Les Stroud's wish to do a show about Bigfoot hunted has been granted. According to Hollywood Reporter, Survivorman won't be alone in the search for the elusive primate. It's going to be a father and son show  putting them in unpredictable environments with only their survival knowledge to keep them alive. Here's an excerpt:

In Survivorman & Son, Stroud sets out to teach his 15-year-old son, Logan -- who thinks he knows everything about his father's profession -- how to endure the elements with no food, heat, shelter or water over the course of five days.

In Survivorman Stalking Sasquatch, a two-part special, Stroud goes deep into the territory of the infamous Bigfoot to survive with few supplies and even fewer rations, "smack dab in the middle of the monster’s hotspots." He also will delve into the truth behind the legend as he investigates the whereabouts of this infamous creature.

  9. Something tells me he won't find anything. There will be no video that's clear of any magic monkey. And even better, footers will rejoice as if validated. Then some jackass will start peddling the leaping yeti video as if it shows something worthwhile.

    1. Have you ever had an encounter in the heart of Alaska? How do you know what a Squatch in Alaska sounds like?

    2. It wasnt "monkey sounds"

He heard a large primate making aggressive noises at him before tearing its way through the brush and leaving.

I have heard many reports of similar sounds. Most seem to think it is not a friendly sound.

    3. Why? Because my sister had an encounter near Fairbanks and it didnt sound like that. That's how I know.

  14. Here is how it will turn out.

If he either hears or sees nothing,
then he will be labeled as an amateur Bigfoot hunter.

If he says that he heard something that he thinks sounds like a primate,
then he will be labeled a liar by the teenagers and paid scoftics on this forum.

If he captures audio that he thinks is a Sasquatch,
then he will be labeled a hoaxer by the teenagers and paid scoftics on this forum.

If he captures both audio and video that is clearly a Sasquatch,
then he will be labeled either the victim of a real good hoax perpetrated by Hollywood, or he will be accused as being in on a conspiracy to hoax by the teenagers and paid scoftics on this forum.

Since he will be robbing known attention seekers of the attention that they so rightly deserve, they will jump on the same bandwagon as the teenagers and paid scoftics.

It will turn out to be the basic LOSE-LOSE scenario. If he is smart, he will not come close to any internet forums.

Holy shit! That’s coke or meth for sure! Coke most likely, he’d be completely out of control if it was meth. Look at his expression BEFORE he turns around. Someone in his chatroom alerted him to the residue, he had totally forgotten about it. Probably someone who was there earlier in the day and helped him make the pile disappear, A casual observer never would have noticed it. And yes the stuff is expensive, but that is not a “pile”. That is just incriminating coke dust left from where the pile had been. And look at his expression afterwards! Smile, nod, move the camera! See how the “dust” was arranged? That is exactly what it looks like after you cut rails! This explains a lot, holy shit. Too funny!

  17. I to heard a big foot while hunting in Alaska. Along with my guide, and 3 other hunters. we were in Camp, ready for the evening meal, and all hell broke loose. That was the sounds they made! There was maybe 3 of them, I've hunted in Alaska for over 20 years. Been all over that state. Never, ever heard that sound before! And that was about 8 years ago!
