  6. Do we have any Phd. mathmaticians or physicists on this forum? I have a question about the Infinite Monkey Theory and Boltzmann Brains. Yes there is such a thing just google it. J.D.

    2. I have a PHD in Mermaidology, so pretty much the same as a physicist. Please, proceed with your question.

    3. Actually, I have a PhD in mathematics and a BS in physics...Boltzmann specialized in thermodynamics (he has a constant named after him) but I never heard anything about infinite monkeys...I would think the number of monkeys was finite..lol...

    4. So if we can have highly intellectual discussions about all of the different attributes of theories involving the likelyhood of brains assembling themselves out of quantum fluctuations and someone actually figured out how many years it would take a monkey to randomly type out a hamlet script both puntuated and not [infinite monkey theory]. It's multiple quintilllions upon quintillions on and on. Why can't we get a mathmatical likelyhood of there being a bigfoot alive in the USA somewhere? WITH A MATMATICAL PROOF of the calculations. Surely the chances of bigfoot would be a more worthy discussion than universes full of disembodied brains or monkeys typing forever.? Oh I do get the reason behind why these ideas have been proposed. Thanks JD
