DeleteThe bigger the Bigfoot claim, the bigger the need for evidenc
DeleteScience isn’t about what is true or what might be true, science is about what people with originally diverse viewpoints can be forced to believe by the weight of public evidence.
And there is the problem in all this – the evidence does not look good.
e
Dr Melba may be developing a theme park as we speak, on the land where the yeti was sited - and which she owns (maybe).
DeleteShe's obviously milking this for all its worth.
And why not - Scotland's done alright out of the Loch Ness monster.
second kill
ReplyDeleteAnimal tagging and tracking has been a fundamental tool in the quest to increase our knowledge and understanding of biogeography and ecology for about 50 years. Monitoring animal populations is also necessary for conservation purposes and to limit negative effects on the human population, particularly in an era of human expansion into traditional animal habitats. The use of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technology has been responsible for significant advances in this field by providing the ability to obtain accurate, regular and frequent estimates of the changing distributions of many rare animal species. Employing conventional GNSS-based animal tracking methods to study drop bears is extremely difficult due to their habitat. The dense tree canopy regularly causes extended periods of complete GNSS signal loss, and sensors are often damaged during attacks on prey. This paper proposes an indirect, GNSS-based method for tracking drop bears. This involves tracking the prey rather than the predator in order to map the population of drop bears in a particular area. The method can be used to effectively estimate the number of drop bears in the study area. Analysis of the collected data provides valuable insights into the hunting behaviour of drop bears and has implications for a better understanding of the geographical distribution of other rare species, including hoop snakes and bunyips.
DeleteNo one will spend a dime doing any of this until the species is confirmed.
DeleteSince the DNA study is DOA, a body is the only evidence that will get it done at this point.
Bag and tag one and drag it to the local news station for instant coverage.
PRO KILL! Not a big deal since it seems they are mythical anyhow.
When you are in the presence of these gentle giants, you quickly realize that there is no way you could take it's life.
ReplyDeleteThey are eating our children.
DeleteMaybe the Dingos ate your baby.
Deletewhen you are in the presence of these gentle giants, your mind is on a spectacular journey. take your meds next time.
Deleteor stop lying.
Please, I implore you, don't kill our forest friends. Don't wait until it's too late to realize your error.
DeleteFuck em! - Smeja.
DeleteWack'em and Stack'em... Big or small shoot them all!!!
DeleteChoot em!
ReplyDeleteIt's a unanimous no-kill. How can you kill a figment of your imagination?
ReplyDeleteHoly magic monkey murderers, Batman!
Deletehow many podcasts on bigfoot are there? how many are worth following? which ones?
ReplyDeleteOne is too much.
DeleteAbsolutely hands-down this one is the worst.
DeleteKILL KILL KILL!!!!
ReplyDeleteHoly hirsute hominid holocaust, Batman!
DeleteMelba's failure has turned a lot of people into pro kill. Good job protecting the forest people!
ReplyDeleteThey aren't a type of people.
DeleteThey are a type of marsupial.
Deletebigfoot are just people that never shaved
DeleteWith the latest Bigfoot paper, I have no idea what the motivation was. But we do have a great example to show the public how not to publish supposedly paradigm-shattering science.
DeleteThe old adage is as pertinent as ever: extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
well if you decide to shoot a bigfoot you better remember they are never alone and you screw up and youll be the dead one.
ReplyDeletethe one I shot was alone. it was too heavy to take out of the woods so I left it there.
Deleteif you decide to shoot a bigfoot, you'll be shooting a person in a suit. don't be stupid.
Deletewhy would anyone shoot a guy in a suit? I don't think bigfoots are smart enough to wear a suit. it's not like they have jobs or anything.
DeleteThats fine. My bullets are never alone either.
DeleteThat's why you have to beat it with a bat. This will give the person wearing a suit a chance to yell.
DeleteI'm pro-beat to an inch of it's life then shave it and make it clean my garage.
ReplyDeleteTrunk monkey.
DeleteHEADLINE; This morning around 7:24 AM EST. A large Bipedal furry man like creature was found deceased behind the Williamsburg VA Wallmart Super store. The animal has not been officially identified, officials will only say the creature appears to be some kind of non indigenous Ape like creature, possibly the missing link. A spokes woman for Walmart said that the creature was for sure a MALE and someone she would have liked to have known prior to his death. No witnesses have yet come forward and no cause of death has been established, this by Chief of police and Taxi driver that made the gruesome discovery. The public is being ask for help in identification of the creature while being warned to stay away due to possible diseased condition. When questioned about the condition described Taxi driver Charly would only state, there seemed to have been some kind of flesh eating illness working on the poor fellow, he has at least 6 holes center mass the size of a baseball. Chief Chuck Hickman said it could possibly be another rash of dreaded 195grain copper coated glock eyedus. The creature is now being stored at Charly's meat and thangs until officials from KY, VA, and TN state fair can get to the site. Possible public viewing after midnight, not yet confirmed. Dr Melba Bascardi being flown in from her honey moon to help identify the creature.
ReplyDeleteThere are no sasquatch, bigfoot, forest people etc., just a bunch of idiots looking to screw the pubic and make a buck. If I am wrong on this then prove it. Shoot and kill one of the sons of people/unknow hominid or whatever the liars call it.
ReplyDeleteIt will never happen. It is a myth. No body no bigfoot. Period.
APRIL FOOL, HEEEEEE-HAAAAAAW
DeleteThe article dismisses the possibility of Bigfoot right off declaring that is not possible for such a creature to exist without being captured or killed, claiming that with all the sightings reported people should be tripping over Bigfoot every time they walk out of their house. But Bigfoot aren't parading down main street therefore all sightings are declared moot and scientists would be wasting their time researching them. However, this ignores all the evidence that has been discovered, and the fact that plenty of scientists are indeed working on proving Bigfoot exists. The writer goes on to say that he'd prefer Bigfoot hunters out in the woods searching for something that doesn't exist rather than sitting in an easy chair watching TV. We say maybe he should get up out of his own chair and do a little more relevant research on the subject he's so gleefully attacking.
DeleteWhat "evidence" do you speak of? Please share it with us.
DeleteThere is all kinds of evidence, going back for decades, but none of it constitutes "proof".
DeleteBigfoot, a 500-kilo bipedal primate standing 3.0 metres, is biologically possible. Other than the bipedal locomotion, a primate from South-eastern Asia, gigantopithecus, would have fit the bill – if it hadn’t gone extinct 100,000 years ago.
ReplyDeleteBut given biogeography and population biology, such a species is not plausible.
Bigfoot’s biggest bunions are his biggest supporters, the Bigfoot hunters. Sightings of the creature have come from all over North America.
Yet any species with a huge distribution would consist of a large number of individuals, and therefore, we would have plenty of physical evidence.
Proponents justify this lack of evidence by claiming Bigfoot is low in numbers, and they bury their dead, and …
Whoa Nelly! You’re telling me in a country where there are 88 guns for every 100 people no one has shot and recovered the body.
Until 2009, there were no sightings of pygmy hippos in all of Australia, nevertheless a NT hunter managed to shoot one.
You can’t have it both ways. The Bigfoot population cannot stretch across North America enabling sightings every other Tuesday, and be in such low numbers that solid evidence never materialises.
In Bigfoot’s case, scientists don’t look because he is simply not plausible.
Unfortunately, I think you'd have an easier time convincing bin Laden he's not getting his 72 virgins when he dies than explaining this to most footers.
DeleteBigfoot or its Yeti cousins are unlikely to be found in the northern hemisphere. They were all kidnapped decades ago to work as beasts of burden in the secret Nazi UFO base in Antarctica. I therefore scoff at this sort of 'proof' sourced from tissue samples in the USA.
ReplyDeleteI tentatively agree. In my professional opinion the camp you speak of is now in Peru. The squatches are building a temple large enough that their galactic brothers can view it and send a rescue pod. Amazing animals
DeleteTrick question. You CAN'T kill a squatch. They will mind bend the barrel of the gun towards your dog or your face. They will also love you, so let down your guard and just let it be what it is: a paranormal forest ape with a chewbacca face
