Watch: Man's Coon Hunting Dog Traumatized After Encounter With Bigfoot In Kentucky

Editor’s Note: This is a post by Bigfoot Evidence contributor Vicki W.

Have a listen to Dustin's 2011 Sasquatch encounter while he and his girlfriend were coon hunting in Henderson County, KY. Dustin gives a harrowing play-by-play of the events that is both compelling and quite convincing. His well-trained and faithful coon dog Dixie apparently became so traumatized by the experience that she would never hunt again. A comment on the post notes that Dustin has had another encounter just a few days ago in the same area. Thanks to the upload from D. Neal and to Dustin for his truly edge of your seat storytelling style.

[Update] Thanks to Biggy Foot for posting this video on YouTube. This was actually taped in Henderson county KY while investigating a sighting for the KBRO (Kentucky Bigfoot Research Organization). "This young man was as sincere as any witness I have ever interviewed. I believed him immediately," Biggy wrote on Facebook.

    1. Agreed, he didn't seem to be telling a tale.

    2. That was my impression too. You could see he was recalling something from his memory and wasn't just telling a story. He definitely saw something and so did his dog... Poor dog.

    3. Even the missionaring skeptards here know he's sincere but they'll crap their lame bullshit anyway.

    4. You guys every hear the story of a Bigfoot stomping a bunch of puppies to death? I think it was on Finding Bigfoot. What's the deal, how can a dog be so frightened. I believe this story though.

  3. I know this area have family in the next county over from Henderson County Ky. Its not a heavily wooded area except in a few spots....mostly open farm country

    1. I am the researcher who actually filmed this interview and I live in this area....I don't know where your family lives, BUT YOU COULDN'T BE MORE WRONG. There are farms, but there are equally lots of think woods and even 2 Forest areas in Henderson county alone. BUSTED

    2. Henderson County probably has more BF sightings and history than any other county in the state. It is best known for the Spottsville Monster (name given to BF in the area of Spottsville, Ky. BF often has a supernatural bent in Henderson County.

    3. There are thick woods in Staten Island, NYC , too. The largest is maybe a 1/2 mile by a 1/2 mile. No bigfoots, though. Maybe Brooklyn, its closer to Nassau County....

    4. My family is from Ohio county and Hancock County in Kentucky..both of those counties are hillier and have alot more timber....Henderson like Daviess county is mostly farmland...the eastern half of Daviess county is more wooded but not the western part. I have worked in tobacco over in Curdsville in Henderson county...I dont think its heavily wooded at all....except for the Audubon state park and a few areas along the green river...most of it is cornfields.with brushy areas and small areas of timber.

      Delete
    5. If you think anywhere in western Kentucky has real timber anymore, you should go to eastern Kentucky...in about 5more years Hendersoncounty will be nothing but strip-pits... BUSTED

    6. I just read that one of the largest forest tracts in Henderson county in Ky is only about 1,100 acres or so...thats not a very large forest tract at all. Some people in other parts of Ky have private land thats 3 or 4000 acres...not to mention the D Boone national forest is several hundred thousand acres. The only area of real heavy timber left in western Kentucky anymore is Land Between The Lakes. Most forest land in western Kentucky is 2 and 3rd growth timber...its already been farmed and replanted probably 2 or 3 times. Traditionally parts of western Ky were prarie areas since prehistoric times...oak and hickory savannah and grasslands

      Delete
    7. Apparently none of you people are experienced Bigfoot researchers. Who in the world said they have to have a huge single tract of land to exist in? I spend much time, even today in fact, walking the woods of Henderson county, and I was in WOODS you morons......
Nobody said that Henderson county had more woods than Ohio county, LBL, or Eastern KY..... But it has woods. Maybe some of you should go play Checkers. Or as Doc Holiday said the the ignorant Ike Ckanton on Tombstone....(I know, lets have a spelling contest)

    9. Ok I will put this to you kindly since you insist on insulting and talking down to me for my logic and assumptions of this story and a question that I had. Number one: If you are such an "experienced researcher yourself" why has nobody ever heard of you or know your name? Number two: I wasnt being critical of this mans account nor of your research merely thinking out loud and making an observation about Henderson county that I already know. For some of us who maybe arent as...well "experienced in all things bigfoot" such as yourself apparently, since you are such an expert, why dont you respond to my assumptions and criticism with fairness instead? Logic says with such a large creature that is elusive and shy, why wouldnt it prefer tolive in areas that arent as populated and have frankly larger areas of tree cover and forest to live, forage and hide in? Fair question right? Logically one would assume that the larger the creature, the more area it will need to roam, live and forage and the more timber coverage it is going to want to live in and hide in to not feel so exposed. My assumptions were based on this thinking and nothing alone...for some of us it is hard to wrap our minds around this aspect. Instead of attacking us you should take a more fair minded and professional approach and response to respond to our questions and reasonings, instead you demean, attacked and insulted me. I guess thats why no one knows about you, your research or how you really are....

    10. The thing I can't figure out is how do people believe they can be found in small patches of woods because they would have to come from big Forrest out in the open to jump to the tiny patch it's completely ridiculous to me cause they would be wide open and someone could've took pics or video of it since there is none it's just preposterous

    1. Exactly. The strange thing about these Bigfoots during enocunters seem to be their ability to influence other creatures around them like the dog the horses, etc. There definitely seems to be something dare I say otherwordly going on with these beings, it would explain their cunning and elusiveness and why skeptards are so terribly naive or deliberately ridiculing and covering up whatever this species is and wherever they're from.

Havingdealt with people who are delusional with their illness there is no chance that their stories have this much detail! If iwas tobet he is easily telling the truth. his body language, speech[not stuttering],he spoke as one recalling an actual event.

  17. Moneymaker says there is something to this "zapping" phenomenon. Maybe this is what happens to dogs?? If it is some sort of electrical wave from the brain or something (as MM was speculating) it would explain why the dogs would cower and why this dog wouldn't hunt any longer. Sort of like an electric fence...they hit it once or twice and they won't anymore. A dog would be more affected than a human presumably since they're smaller. I never thought much of the "zapping" thing--attributing it more to just plain fear or instinct--but enough reports of something like this surface to warrant wondering about it at least. We don't know anything, so no one can make definitive absolutes in this quest.

  18. My uncle was an avid coon hunter in Georgia .He told (storys) of the white thing . It would follow them down the roads they hunted on .He claimed it could run 25 miles an hour . Said it was hairy with grey or white hair .Thought he was joking till I heard same story from another hunter years later who did not know my uncle.

  19. Started researching bigfoot after hearing story ,simply asking and letting people around me know I was interested.Had a guy tell me of his wife and hers sisters claim of seeing a white bigfoot in Armuchee ,Ga.Someone told me about a police report to sheriffs office in summerville Ga . You can Google it . Funny how these things can relate .

  20. One can easily tell this guy is telling the truth as he sees it, and yes it is another Kentucky Bigfoot he encountered. The dogs reaction is so typical and has happened to thousands of brave dogs. Sorry he gave it away, I would have made it a house dog, but I hope it has a good home. Yes dogs go to heaven also.

For those who question Henderson county go to Kentucky Bigfoot and you will find more encounters in this area than any other Kentucky county. That is not to say there are more Bigfoot here, only that they are well documented. An area such as this with adequate forest area to hide during day and roam the fields and orchards at night in search of crops, fruit, berries, nuts, and large stocks of deer, rabbits, squirrels, and coons makes it a rather ideal place for a Sasquatch. I imagine the forest cash crop growers have many encounters, but they are not talking. Last February someone even saw one right next to the I-75 somewhere south of the Covington Metro area. The auto in front of him stopped and was backing up to see better.

    1. And by the way for the author who submitted this and a good one it is, do not pay any attention to the skeptards, trolls and perverts who populate this place, they are best ignored. They are guilty of extreme cerebral laziness, and seem to have nothing better to do with their life than act foolish here and I suspect other sites as well.

    2. What does the Bigfoot do to the dog to frighten it so bad? Could it be its foul odor?
