In this episode Bigfoot Museum curator Mike Rugg talks about the latest news from Dr. Melba Ketchum that the upcoming Bigfoot DNA study is to be released.
You are right, I have to listen to Cygnus X-1 Book I: The Voyage first to get the whole musical story. I will do that. As far as me being rumferlife, no that isn't so. We are just two like minded guys that like our Rum and Rush and I give him full credit for the name rushferlife because Rush is what brought us together!
A Farewell to Kings is also one rocking song and I love Pearts use of all the bells, chimes and other cool shit that is part of his percussion tool box, what a badass.
Mike Rugg is a very intelligent person. I wish he would get rid of the garbage he allows to "help" there at the museum. He just railed on people who castigate others for their beliefs. That thing he has working there, that *women* is about as vile and nasty as they get. She just knows how to suck up to him.
Poor guy. Hope he gets a clue one day when he finally finds out what a pyscho she is.
He's a really nice guy (and kinda looks like Santa!) and makes some really interesting points about mystery apes (or whatever we're supposed to call them now) and hybrids but where the science community is concerned Ketchum's comments and views will stop them from taking it seriously. Yeah everybody is entitled to their own beliefs but people in mainstream science will not stand up and take notice if the person behind the study seems to be kinda detached from reality? Even if the science is good it will be dismissed, wait around to see what Sykes and Meldrum have to show us that will be worth waiting for.
Yes, exactly. Forget Ketchum. She's a loon angling for a TV show or a book deal. The real scientists will be along shortly. Their findings will be taken seriously, whatever they are.
We did not all spring Mitochondrial Eve, it's just that the other mtDNA lineages existing at the time were washed out by hers eventually. Probably because she had a boatload of hot daughters, LOL.
Why is it that Mike Rugg always seems to consistently make the most since in this field. I say appoint him as president of the Bigfoot field. Of course that is my opinion has he is so apt to say.
See? "It is not incumbent upon rational people to disprove the existence of Bigfoot. It is incumbent upon those making extraordinary claims to back them up with real evidence." This is what we have been saying to you Footers all along.
That's exactly right. With something like this the Carl Sagan rule always applies. But blanket claims as fact that Bigfoot DOES NOT exist are solely based on faith, not science, and certainly not on evidence of any kind. The only rational position on the existence of Bigfoot is agnostic skepticism. We still don't know for sure either way.
This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns". Sadly, there was no DNA samples taken from
Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. We'll keep you updated on any further announcements for sure.
Editor's Note: This is a guest post by Suzie M., a sasquatch enthusiast. Crypto-linguists believe that the species known Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti/Yowie ect speak and understand a complex language, which by all accounts seems to stem from Asia. When one listens to it there is definitely a sense of it being Chinese or Japanese. It is a very odd mix of sounds, clicks and what could be actual words. This is the reason some experts are looking into the Asian dialect theory, some have said it could be a lost dialect, which was carried from Asia by the Bigfoot species that colonised America.

DeleteGood comments, 9:48. Can't wait for Sykes, he will have more credibility. When do we get the final word from Sykes?
DeleteNo one knows when I guess we'll have to wait for a leak then a hasty press conference
DeleteYes, exactly. Forget Ketchum. She's a loon angling for a TV show or a book deal. The real scientists will be along shortly. Their findings will be taken seriously, whatever they are.
ReplyDeleteA TV show? Dumber shit I've rarely read here and that says a lot.
DeleteCouldn't have put it any better Mike. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteWe did not all spring Mitochondrial Eve, it's just that the other mtDNA lineages existing at the time were washed out by hers eventually. Probably because she had a boatload of hot daughters, LOL.
ReplyDeleteDon't step on the Rugg !

ReplyDeleteChuck
he certainly makes a lot of sinse
DeleteThat was really good. He explains things nicely and clearly separates his opinions from established facts.
DeleteMike is definitely the most level-headed and likable guy in Bigfooting.
DeleteMike Rugg is bigfootings Morgan Freeman. And Santa Clause!
Delete"Live and let live."
DeleteWhat a great idea.

DeleteMike Rugg is the best in the field! Love you Mike, stay healthy! Love the updates
ReplyDeleteThat was a great interview! I agree with Mike completely. Thanks for posting this.
ReplyDeleteMike is always a voice of reason.
