About the BFRO Jacobs creature:
In 2007, a media flurry ensued when Pennsylvania hunter Rick Jacobs released a recent photo of what some enthusiasts claim to be a Sasquatch. Jacobs obtained the photo by affixing a camera with an automatic trigger to a tree in the Allegheny National Forest. When he saw the photo, Jacobs immendiately contacted the Bigfoot Research Organization, who claims the creature in the photographs looks more ape-like than bear. They wrote on their website, "Even though we do not have the corpse of the animal to dissect, we say with confidence that the Jacobs creature is not a bear."

ReplyDeleteThat's not a bear, that's a chupacabra! Does anyone else wonder if there were hairless deer, bear, dogs, wolves and such before the atomic age? Has anyone seen a picture from before 1940 with any hairless wildlife? I know it is caused by mites, ticks and fleas, but I don't remember ever hearing stories of anything like this.

DeleteThere were cases of hairless wildlife all thru the recorded time if you look for it. I think that mange is more prevalent now than it used to be, simply because of more animals to spread the mites. So I wouldn't be blaming it on the atomic age, just better reporting and knowing what it is.

Now the Sykes study is still on going but is yet to find any unknown species. The most common hair type submitted is bear along with samples of human hair. Does this prove Bigfoot is human? No. It proves we have human hair and that's it.
I will post more when I get it but the next big thing to happen to the Bigfoot world will be the announcement of the PGF suit.

It's a young black bear. People think bears are always heavy, but often they are very thin from fat loss.
ReplyDeleteThe legs are much longer than people assume as well and as someone who's spent hundreds of hours trudging thru Allegheny National Forest, I can tell you that I've seen several bears arch their backs (cat like) in the same manner as the "Jacobs animal" does.
The BFRO is not a wildlife authority by any stretch. Just listening to some of the idiotic things MM says should indicate that.
Unfortunately you're wrong, the Jacobs being has hair all over plus the body is primate.
