Extreme Expeditions Bigfoot Photo: "It very clearly shows an adolescent Sasquatch"

This morning, Bigfoot researcher and radio show host, Alex Midnight Walker, posted a statement by Thom Cantrall, author of Ghosts of Ruby Ridge about the recent photo posted by Lori Simmons of Extreme Expeditions. Cantrall thinks the photo clearly shows an adolescent Sasquatch, but Alex isn't so sure. Here's what he wrote on his Facebook page:

This is an event described by Thom Cantrall. I am posting his description and a comparison of what is claimed to be a a sasquatch over the ladies sleeping out at night (btw I knew chics were good bait...just kidding). We can only go by the credibility of any individual making a claim or presenting this kind of evidence before we accept that the object is indeed not choreographed or staged. I'll trust that these ladies are truthful. What I've done is attempted to illustrate my best attempt at comparing the size of individuals. Here's Thom's description...

On Labor Day, 2012, I completed a short sojourn with Lori Simmons and an international expedition team in the North Cascades of Washington and returned home. The following day, a Tuesday, I received a call from Lori and the Expedition Leader, Adam Davies. I was asked to return to the site to see what they had found...

On Monday night, Sept 3rd, 2012, two of the team members decided to move their beds from their tents and to sleep beside the fire in the middle of the camp ground. In the middle of that night, the trail cam they had set to cover the camp was triggered. This is one of the images from that set. It very clearly shows an adolescent Sasquatch, about 6.5' in height leaning over the two bedded campers looking at them. Below I am posting a picture of myself standing where he is in this picture and my walking stick pointing to where the beds were. He is within just a couple of feet of them.

  1. Agreed...does not "clearly" show anything.

    1. Clear as mud. Then again, the image is the size of a postage stamp, so it's hard to tell!

  2. Could just be the back of one of the campers in their sleeping bag (like a mummy bag) with the sleeping bag hood up, as they were crouching down or re-situating themselves.
    Not clear enough to tell.

    1. I thought about that and a coat. Look at the spine. If you know anything about the muscles in the back, a well built individual will have that indentation on the spine followed by protruding muscles. That's what made me take more note of this pic

    2. At least MW is questioning it even though those are his mind-speaking buddies.

    3. the squatch voices in his mind told him LOL

    4. Its true that the back looks like that of a muscular primate, but the rest of it is questionable: the "head" looks like a mountain and the lower area makes no sense. The blown up photo on their website is not terribly convincing.

  3. If it clearly showed anything specific we would all be in agreement about what the photo depicts. Since we are not, it does not.

  4. it's not even the same angle, the picture of the "bigfoot" is angled up and down, the one with the person is lower and pretty much at the same height as the table, this changes the dimensions of the things in the pictures and there's no way you can side to side compare it. something is fishy here because how do you not know the exact spot the trail camera was in on the tree and then purposely make the comparison picture lower angled so it appears differently when you compare the original?

    1. Agreed. First thing I noticed about the two pics.

  5. i clearly don't see any thing that looks like a bigfoot. sorry. but ,keep trying, it takes alot of skill to take a clear photo for some people.

  6. I really see a bear sitting on its butt, arms holding something and it's head down in whatever it's holding. There's even a little point on the right hand side that could be its ear.

The part that the is interesting though, is that most infrared black and white night pics of bears usually show there true color..........black. You usually get the white color from something like a deer. Maybe it's a cinnamon colored bear, or a very light brown, which is very common in PNW.

    Anyways, that's my thoughts.

    1. Do bears kneel? Not that I know of, and you actually see the butt and where the upper leg/thigh begins. I don't think a bear would just sit there and look at the ladies - it'd eat them.

      Delete
    2. I don't know how u can tell its kneeling from that photo? And also, black bears are oportunistic omnivores, not carnivores.

      Delete
    3. If the figure is not kneeling where are the legs? You can sort of see where the torso ends and the lower body starts.

  7. Ok, i believe in Bigfoot BUT, this looks like a poor plastic replica. There is NO visible hair and it just looks wrong, Try again!

    1. Come again, plastic? You're saying this is the elusive Plastisquatch then? I don't think so, dig that back's same hair line as the Hovey pic.

  8. Funny that nutjob Cantrell wasn't mentioned as being involved with this "sojourn"... I mean EXPEDITION. Sounds like a Fasano press release.

  9. Lori talks to tree roots and Thom uses his magic stick to feel for ground vibrations that mean she's getting an answer back to how are you? how are you? how are you?

  10. The only thing this clearly shows is that you don't know how to use your own equipment. Trail-cams are not that difficult to use. If it is difficult for you, do a few test shots and get it working correctly before you use it.

    ReplyDelete
  11. The guy is clearly further away from the picnic table than the subject is.

    ReplyDelete
  12. The ladies slept outside and left all that junk on the table? Are they trying to flirt with disaster? I can't believe none of them woke up if this was a Bigfoot or any other critter for that matter.
They should also learn how to set the date stamp on the trail cams. Attention to detail is everything. I have far too many questions to ask but if the "researchers" can't list off important details in the first place, it just isn't worth my time.
Also, I don't go for all that Woo mind speak crap, so adding Thom C's name to this doesn't lend any credibility. This is the same woman who recorded a video sideways and repeatedly says "hello, nice to be with you today", or something like that. Yes?
All I see is a white blob.

    1. sasquai, all the mind woo crap is based in the experiences of many who have up close, not just a vocal few. It is one of the hallmarks of getting physically close to BFs and something many are not comfortable talking about because it raises more questions that seem unanswerable. But for whatever it's worth to ya, tread lightly with your scorn, you may have to change your tune in the future if you do have a close encounter.

    2. I just can't buy in to this whole telepathy thing. I personally think that Sasquatches are biological beings and are not capable of this. Obviously this cannot be proven one way or the other.
If and when I have an encounter and mind speak occurs, I'll be sure to share that. Why is it that not all witnesses make these claims? Very, very few do.
To each their own. I could have worded my comment above to sound less negative.

      Delete
    3. I know why! Because those that claim these woo things believed in them already and just add that to their made up Bigfoot story to make themselves sound better. They are lying and/or crazy.

    5. Stank is right. The mindspeak and other supernatural bullshit is promoted by a few longtime believers who are making up lies to explain the inability to present real evidence. It is possible that they are so convinced bigfoots exist that they honestly think there must be an explanation, natural or not, for the lack of evidence.

Either way, once you go that route anything(mindspeak, teleportation) is possible.

      Delete
    6. The "mind-speakers" I am aware of all have a profit motive, be it books (Lori & Thom), conferences (Thom & Arla) or "native-style" baskets (Arla the fake Native). I agree it's an "easy out" they use to blow off critics who ask too many logical questions.

ROFL Allow me to translate...it's the size of a regular person.

    1. We always hear stories of them being 8- 10 feet tall, but whenever there is some photo or video, they're never that big.

    2. yup too hard to hoax...

take a look at the pgf, roger choose to use a female bigfoot at 6 foot because he could not recreate his 8 foot male ape fantasy

      Delete
    3. Yup, same with so many footprints. It obviously was a juvenile because it so closely resembles a human-size print.

  14. why bother, this is why bigfootery has ne credibility. people see this title, then the actual pic. no wonder people just scoff

  15. There are certainly flaws with comparing the two photos, as they aren't anywhere close to identical. The slightest different in lens width, perspective change etc changes all of it and renders the comparison moot. You can't judge much in terms of size by this photo.

  16. Extreme Expeditions takes you to the most remotely located picnic tables in the world !!!

    1. That's one of those portable picnic tables, they fold up and fit in your wallet.

  17. So...this 'juvenile Sasquatch"? Is it wearing a blanket over its head, cause if not, that is some serious birth defects going on

    ReplyDelete
  18. It is a hoax picture and nothing more then that. You can look at the upper body and see that it is well within human proportions and noting like Patty or some of the other photos and like Mitchell Wilson has pointed out, the elbow placement is the same as a human,( Equal to the bottom of the ribcage) where as apes and Patty's. (down by the hip area)

  19. Wow I'm so glad we have all this new "evidence".

  20. The one on the left looks much further away than the one on the right.. Sure size matters. So does distance.

  21. Uhh... Didn't know Sasquatch had coyote friends. There a coyote clearly in the picture messing with the trash. The big blob is probably a plastic sheet being flipped up or caught in the breeze. Moving on....

    Replies
    1. You don't know too much then. Sasquatch and coyotes have been noted numerous times as having some kind of connection. Keep moving on, though... you obviously are a tourist when it comes to investigating this mystery and not willing or able to look into it enough to have more than a surface-level knowledge base.

  22. The guy in the comparison pics is too far forward. The "creature" is some sitting up and putting on a shirt. There is a pile of clothes or blanket to the right of and forward of the back of the "creature" which is human sized based off the stuff on the table. I see no animals of any type in the photo. No goat, coyote, bear nothing. If people were sleeping just feet away, they would have spooked any animal.

  23. i have never experienced the telepathy(mindspeak) but i know some others that have. they alsohave no desire to make a dollar from sasquatch nor have tried to. the only motives they have is for the sasquatch to remain an unknown creature of myth and folklore. i wouldnt call them liars either and no more crazy than anyone else i know. sincerely, james smith

    ReplyDelete
  24. I think we can all agree that hoax or genuine this picture is essentially useless as evidence. It's not clear and there's not much to back it up. No one awake even saw anything.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Just look at the orange plastic thing on the bench seat, WTF is that anyways? A shit catcher? The shape of that thing looks way too similar to the hoaxed photo. If your gonna hoax, least get your props out of the comparison shots. Completely faked!!!

  26. The photos are not the same, the size of tables is different, the angle is different. looks like someone drinking from a cup
