Elbe Trackway Hoaxer Identified, Matt Moneymaker To Post His Home Address And Work Phone Number (Updated: Personal Information Will Not Be Released)

Uh-oh—it’s morning and someone's about to have a rude awakening when they get a call from their boss with Matt Moneymaker on the other line. This doesn't look good for whoever hoaxed the Elbe Trackway that's been recently confirmed a hoax by Cliff Barackman and Thom Powell. Whoever you are, you have angered the god of Bigfoot and now you will feel the full wrath of BFRO President Matt Moneymaker. Moneymaker claims that they have identified the person who faked the Elbe tracks.

"He's a skeptic who's building a Patterson BF statue 2 show how 'easy' it would be to fake," Moneymaker wrote on Twitter last night. "I will be posting his home address and his work phone number so you can call his boss to complain about his activities," he added.

It is now clear to everyone that the tracks have been faked-- including Moneymaker, who initially thought the tracks were legit based on early reports from investigators.

"They looked real at first, but there were subtle indications of hoaxing that became more apparent after examination of the casts," he mentioned to followers.

"We're not going to reveal the clues that were visible in the casts, so as not to educate the next jack ass who might do the same."

[Update] Moneymaker will not be releasing the hoaxer's home address and work phone number.

  1. IDK, why would his boss care whether or not he is fooling with bigfoot-believers in his spare time?

And publishing personal data would lead to a huge lawsuit here in Germany, don't know how US-Jurisdiction would deal with it...

    1. i agree with you somewhat. but i think that moneygrubber shouldn't post anything about this man/womans job phone number. even if this douche-bag did this hoax on co. time! that's not his business to set a example. back off matt! put his home number and or home address, but leave his job out of it. then this guy and his/her boss can't sue moneygrubber's ass. his/her boss will have a legit ground for a lawsuit. matt you should no that you can't interfear with someone else's business. cause we could sue the pants off the animal planet for putting out a bad product based on what "the bogey man". there are so many f-ing red flags here. don't give a hoaxer any ground to take your hard earned cash. 3. German law is very different with respect to privacy.

Moneymaker has a law degree in the US. He knows what he can be sued for here, and what he can't be sued for, at least not successfully. Don't worry about him in that regard.

Likely he never had this persons info, and was simply creating attention for himself and his show.

Hate to say it but Ive said time and again this kind of stuff is just to easy to fake.....Ive seen people fall for it again and again in my neck of the woods.

  2. HA! This is awesome. He should put up his home phone number too. But since he will be outted, I can actually try to talk with him. I really do want to know how he did it. Wonder if it is someone I might know. That would really be funny if it was a former patient of mine. If the guy is in a career that requires honesty or maybe the media, he could lose a job. If he is employed by private employer, and it causes the business to lose money, he could get canned too. Not sure on legalities, but the hoaxer did cause harm to a business with the hoax. Money was spent. Matt could set a precedent here and sasquash hoaxers. He loses his job and he might need me to buy him that Scaleburger.

      Delete
    5. The hardcore skeptics are believers too, they simply believe the opposite, that there CANNOT be a bigfoot, no matter what evidence comes forth. They don't seem to realize there are legitimate track traits that cannot be hoaxed, for example, and we see here that those traits or lack thereof will ultimately prove a hoax as a hoax, every time. The ranting type of skeptics simply want to belittle others and spread hatred, they don't have even an amateur's knowledge of the subject, only a surface view, and it shows.

    2. Jim I live in Eureka, ca and had a friend growing up who used latex molds of his feet (enlarged then formed from ballastics gel) to create giant, flexible feet complete with whorls, dermal ridges, scars, etc, and about 18 inches long....basically a perfectly large human track, no "meta-tarsal break" or supposed evidence....and faked people out in our area for decades. He is now a pretty famous rockstar but back in High school the media and Bigfoot "researchers" would flock for miles to see his tracks......a stoner kid from NorCal with no interest in Bigfoot but he loved faking the evidence......not sure why, but seemed funny to us at the time. Im sure many of the tracks and calls from my area were him or other acquaintances. Ive shared the story here, but another of our friends actually had a convincing sighting...I am a former bigfoot skeptic-turned-agnostic.

    4. Timmy, I have followed you on here. I remember lots of Timmy the no way in hell bigfoot exists and then when you disappeared for a bit and came back with your buddies story of his sighting. And how you could tell by his voice and face he was serious. You hold a certain legend status here. Not sure if that is good or bad though. I have heard that story with latex before, probably on here. I also saw a show witb how it was done, but I think it was not feet they enlarged. The show talked about how as the mold got bigger, the fine details got farther apart and more visible. A link just posted recently here also talked about the process. I am more a believer who tries to see every side. I am pretty sure we posted simular opinions on a couple videos here. I have never had a sighting. But have had several WTF moments in the woods. I am probably currently in the top five troll targets for my stance on the Elbe Tracks. I kinda hope the name gets released so I can see if it is someone I know. But you may be right about Matt not having a name. While Matt has done mich to try and bring bigfoot into the light, he does have a strange way of it sometimes. But then again, we all have to be strange just to believe in the possibility of bigfoot.

      Delete
    2. I disagree with ^^. The person responsible for these tracks was attempting to show the world how gullible the "bleevers" were by making some elaboratly hoaxed tracks. Later, they planned to show the world the truth and laugh it up, once and for all proving the sasquatch doesn't exist, and all the investigators that the "bleevers" worshipped would be disgraced, disproven and made to look like fools. BUT, the ones left looking like the simple minded, world is flat fools were the "all knowing skeptics." A very qualified "bleever" studied the best evidence that the fool hearty skeptics could muster up and proved it to be a HOAX! Wow, what does that say for the London tracks, the PG tracks, etc. Come one foolish skeptics, lets here how everyone everywhere is dumb and MM is in on it, blah, blah, blah, yada-yada-yada. But like anyone who is new to something I won't give up on trying to see one just because of a set back. Heck, I feel pretty good that I was able to see the path followed by the hoaxer even after all the real researchers had walked back and forth everywhere. And even the experts thought the tracks real. They only called them a hoax because of information I was not privy to. Including the casts. I guess if I did like most and called everything fake, I might be right more often. But that way never has any enjoyment in life.

Then you just ran with that unwavering pile of shit analysis while they were actually looking in to them more. Then, upon the real work commencing and concluding you were made to look like an asshat. 12. Joe Beelart of West Linn here. I spent five {5} hours on site with Thom Powell. I told him after 10 minutes on the ground the tracks were fake. But he is a scientist; I also need to face the fact I wanted them to be real. During the five hours I did not help him cast one track. All I did was study footprints and the surrounding area. Along the way I made two photos of what is probably damning evidence; a "stomping ground," a place where the molds were put on feet.
As far as all the ballyhoo .... what a wonderful PR stunt!! The more attention that goes the supposed hoaxer's way, the closer he gets to morning TV and the comedy programs ... plus maybe his own TV special on "This is how I proved big-name Bigfooters ...." Every researcher has some questionable prints in their data set, there is no "secret detail" they alone are aware of. Hell, Meldrum still has Wallace prints in his set. Go to Cliff's site to see some other dubious examples.

    3. Yep, that's the word on the street. The prints themselves did their job, the person making them "cracked under pressure". FACT!! Now they released a bogus analysis stating "they don't want to help hoaxers". Again, it wasn't until the questioning and piecing the backstory together that they discovered these were fakes. The prints themselves OWNED them.

All that damage done by foreign objects stuffed in there tore up your ass. Then your narrow urethra from having micro penis only lets a trickle or few drips out. I could stuff my boot up your ass to give you something large enough to fill in the huge gaps from the tears. Remember I wear a size 16, but can tape both together if one is too small. If you push hard enough it might help build pressure. I also have a handheld 400x zoom camera so you can see if the stream is steady or drips. And you could record it even to show your hamster how to push just right for when you stick him and his ball up there to get "relief".

See this is what happens when you stick your head in the mud. I did it to see the underside of the tracks but made a huge mistake when I moved a rock out of my way. Plus trolls can only focus on one thing at a time, with them on me, it leaves other free to make logical comment for or against stuff. All this is while I am waiting for another interesting post from Shawn. Pretty soon this topic will be off the front page and fade away to legend status. I have been referred to as a horse though. And parts of a horse. Some nice, some not. But I think you meant the troll above with all the rectal damage was on the video. That might be from the beginning of his career.

Its been staring us in the face all along. But the glory is not mine to reveal. All i can reveal is the absolute 100% proof positive that this IS the suit worn in the pgf.

  32. Whether this Knower character is legit or not, people should realize there is an exceedingly good chance Roger hoaxed that film. The researchers with recognizable names have done the rank and file no favors by refusing(for the most part) to acknowledge the possibility of hoax. People have become emotionally invested in footage submitted by a self-styled bigfoot showman who was making a bigfoot movie and had a cynical financial backer.

I think Roger was a really interesting guy, maybe even a very good man. He stiffed a gullible rich couple for 700 lousy bucks and did not pay a few bills when his plans did not work out. Big deal. I hope someday we all live in a world where crime is so rare, cops issue arrests warrants for late rentals.Lol. One need not believe he is a horrible person to consider the film a hoax; there are plenty of other reasons, and they were known in 1967!

People should not be emotionally invested in this footage: Truth usually finds its way out, and the truth in this case is that the film is a hoax.

    2. Anon 5:28, I totally agree that, even if it turns out that the PG film was hoaxed, we don't have to label Patterson a horrible person.

I was going to say earlier in this thread that I think it's very common for people who have had sightings and/or successfully captured video of BF to become distraught when their credibility -- and even their sanity -- is attacked publicly over and over again (and with a venom that is, to me, frankly inexplicable). It doesn't surprise me at all that some people might respond to all that unrestrained mud-slinging by faking something, just to silence the "critics" and restore their good names.

I'm not saying this was the case with Patterson. But it's heartbreaking to see the anger and hurt in so many people who have come forward with their stories and/or physical evidence, only to have sh*t thrown in their faces. We could greatly accelerate this grand investigation -- and significantly cut back on the number of hoaxes we're faced with -- if we could learn to be a little more respectful of each other.

      Delete
    3. Regardless of the authenticity of that film, there are thousands of years of interaction with this type of creature in many cultures around the globe. Finding a "suit" will not prove there is and never was a bigfoot, only that a particular few seconds of footage was hoaxed.

  33. The sad part is, there were no indicators they've noticed to prove its undoubtedly a hoax. That's a straight up lie to make you people think they were not fooled, WHICH THEY WERE. It was only during questioning the story of these that it was discovered they were hoaxed. I have that on good authority. Maybe if these guys are honest they'll tell you the truth about why these were declared hoaxes. What I have seen displayed here proves to me that no matter how honest you think a Bigfoot researcher is they will.lie to make themselves look better. What ever happened to : "damn, you really got me this time, maybe I have some MORE learning to do" ???? Just be frigging honest, AT LEAST.

The irony is the hoaxers are obviously at least one step ahead of them to begin with, so it wouldn't matter. No. I've recieved inside info it was a combination of the person who actually found the tracks, and 3 folks who "examined" them soon after. Hesitant to name names, but lets say this was a concentrated act in the part of Bleeverz to convince folks bf was real and bring fame to their org.

MM knows one name, but is not aware (yet) of the other 2-3 participants. He is NOT dumb though, and has a pretty good idea, but will not disclose due to internal politics.

He is an absurd enthusiast who is no better than the hoaxers and other idiotic amateurs who claim to be "researchers" in this subject. His escapades do a great disservice to those credible scientific researchers who are actually trying to objectively inquire into the Bigfoot phenomenon. He is a nasty, vicious unsavory little man who is better at hurling insults than he is "researching" anything. Animal Planet should be ashamed of peddling such garbage.
