Breaking: Was Cliff Barackman The Target Of An Elaborate Hoax? [Elbe Trackway]
According to nearly everyone who's involved with the Elbe Trackway investigation in WA, the tracks are probably faked. Initial opinions were mixed, but it is now without a doubt an elaborate hoax. The most disturbing part about this hoax was the suspicious email noticed that was first sent to Finding Bigfoot TV star Cliff Barackman, who was filming an episode for season 4. Due to his busy schedule, Barackman was unable to respond to the email, so instead, the witness decided to send another email out-- this time, to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO) about a significant line of possible Bigfoot tracks near Barackman's home town in Portland, OR.
Barackman made the effort to finally visit the site at least twice during his short break from Finding Bigfoot. After much investigation and careful analysis, Barackman has concluded that he was probably the intended target of the hoax:
Now that I've had a chance to closely look at the photographs, emails, and casts from this site, I have to come to the conclusion that the situation is an elaborate hoax. I will not divulge all of the details of how I came to this conclusion because I do not want to help any future hoaxer fool the bigfoot community in an even more elaborate hoax. However, I will say that this is the best hoax that I have yet witnessed, and certainly a lot of time, research, and effort went into it. The person or people responsible for this knows a thing or two about bigfoot footprints, and did an excellent job. However, my admiration for their psychopathic expertise in lying does little to refund my money for gas and casting material. Neither does it return the more than nine hours I spent driving, or the more than eight hours spent at the site over two days during my precious one week off from shooting the show. (This is the real damage done... Money is one thing, but when I only get one week off from shooting every four to five weeks, and I spend a good deal of it dealing with lies... well, that doesn't make for a happy Cliff. Time is the most precious thing that I don't have enough of at this point in my life.)
The hoaxing of this data is troubling, but for me that's not the worst of it. The most disturbing thing personally is that, since I was the very first person to receive this report, and it was only sent to the BFRO after my lack of response, I can draw no other conclusion except that I was the target of this whole ordeal. I forget sometimes that despite my attempts at being a good person, trying to be respectful to everyone in the bigfoot community and beyond, and keeping professional integrity, crazy people will start gunning for me simply because I'm on TV and/or am interested in bigfoot tracks.
[via Cliff Barackman]
Someone left a comment yesterday under the Powell post that stated the discoverer of the tracks was not returning emails, and there were probably some other red flags. With tracks and blurry videos, the back story and over-all provenance are very important.
ReplyDeleteCliff seems like a classy guy. Good for him about beiing honest regarding the ezperience.
ReplyDeleteFrom here on out, a chain of custody needs to be established on these kinds of finds.
ReplyDeleteI understand if the original witness wants to remain anonymous (to avoid scrutiny), but someone has got to vouch for him/her. Signed affidavit from the person w/ first contact. Punishable by the full extent of the law.
Keepin 'em honest.
- Anderson Cooper
I could never understand why submitters and witnesses are permitted to hide behind the person they give their evidence to(I.e the Hovey photo). It makes the track, photo, story or whatever useless and opens up the researcher to charges of hoaxing. Why bother?
DeleteThe government told him to say that.
ReplyDeleteCliff is MIB, you have no idea how deep and elaborate the cover-up is. I hope you signed the petition as I have. Look for me at the first march on the capitol. I'll be the guy setting himself on fire.
DeleteI'll be the one roasting marshmallows over your burning carcass.
DeleteThank you. Then my sacrifice will not be in vain on the off chance there is no such thing as bigfoot.
DeleteMMMMM... marshmallows
DeleteWell, well, well... Really hate to do it, but... Told you so.
ReplyDeletei hate to second that. but i second that.
DeleteI hate.
DeleteWhenever Rick Noll thinks something is real you know it's got to be fake.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing left people,All there has been since 1967 is hoax after hoax not even a clear picture in almost 50 years and that's only for those that think the PGF is not a hoax also.
ReplyDeleteI hope you find what you need to find someday I really do but There is no Gov't cover up there are just crazy people doing asshole things like hoaxing people good luck but after 50 yrs of nothing I can only assume there is nothing to find.
This is the final nail in Bigfoot's coffin.
Deletewe still have dogman
DeleteYup. Thats it. Bigfoot's not real. Case closed.
DeleteHopefully they find the hoaxers and expose them like Dyer and Whitten.
ReplyDeleteWhitten lost his job over the whole thing. The Elbe hoaxer should be a bit concerned for his own reputation. Being known as a deceiver is not a good thing to have on your resume.
When sniffing out new tracks, wake up and smell the clamato people!
ReplyDeleteThis sucks, I am quitting bigfoot - gonna get into fairies/gnomes
ReplyDeleteNo you won't. You're too obsessed with Bigfoot.
DeleteOf course it was a hoax. I was a firm believer in Bigfoot until I got involved on this site. It's [the site] supposed to help prove the existence but instead it's just proves that everyone is a hoaxer, videos are built up to let down, DNA studies hand over nothing but bs lies about results. I hate to say it but I'm now a skeptic....
ReplyDeleteThis site made me a believer.
DeleteThis site made me a woman.
DeleteThis site made me a man.
DeleteThis site made me a Sasquatch...so I'm told.
DeleteThis site introduced me to Robert Lindsay's blog.
Delete^^^ ewwwww, sick.
DeleteThis site is a load of laughs. Keep it up, fellows.
Deletehoaxing is a lucrative career. look what he did for travis "?" of ufo books, movies, remake of movie and speaking circuit. its got affect the soul knowing you got people eating out of your hand based on lies.
ReplyDeleteWhen "Finding Bigfoot" is finally done not finding bigfoot, all that it will have accomplished in the end is dirtying the entire subject, but MM will not give a shit.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Cliff, Renae and Bobo and the production team? Will they give a shit?
DeleteCliff will give 2 shits.
DeleteRenae will not give any shits.
Bobo will eat a case of Twinkies
... and proceed to shit for weeks.
DeleteHe stood six foot eight with his feet on the ground, and that scaleburger in his hand weighed three and a half pounds. Big Jim
ReplyDeleteBig JIIIIM Big bad JIM.
Delete6'7" and I really hope the person contacts me. My contact info can be found in the forum. I will buy them that Scaleburger after they show me how they did it. This was the first set of tracks I had ever seen and really hope that even with the BFRO bailing the tracks turn out to be real. I want to see the shoes they used, how they managed to not leave a bunch of evidence behind, etc. I still say if this was a hoax, it was masterful. How did they get the toes and heels to dig in. I also think if the person does not step forward, Cliff or the BFRO should track them down and name them. If they sent emails to two or more different people you can get server info and other identity stuff pretty easy. Maybe the gas station in town has video of the people even. While I don't agree with keeping details secret, in this case they should release everything.
DeleteHow's that crow taste Jim?
DeleteIt's great food but way overpriced. $30 for two burgers, fries and shakes. Strawberry shakes
ReplyDelete"I will not divulge all of the details of how I came to this conclusion because I do not want to help any future hoaxer fool the bigfoot community in an even more elaborate hoax."
ReplyDeleteI hate this mentality. Full transparency is the only thing that can help this field. Looks like hoaxers don't need your help in fooling you anyway, so educate the rest of us.
+ 1
DeleteHe probably won't say what is it because it's something obvious and he would look foolish for believing in the first place.
Delete2:03,
DeleteThat's exactly what it is. A straight buffoon should've been able to look at those tracks for 2 minutes and come away knowing they were hoaxed. I don't know what you'd call someone who couldn't figure it out quickly.......sad deal all the way around for footers who think Cliff, Randles and others are some of the best this field has to offer. Just wow........a real come to Jesus moment for all of them including Big Bad Jim Jim. LMFAO!
The hoax was revealed via the surrounding circumstances, most likely, and not by any physical details in the prints or on that beach.
Deletestill laughing at EG comment
ReplyDeleteWhen will you guys figure it out, ALL BIGFOOT CLAIMS ARE HOAXES.
ReplyDeletemmfff,mmmfff,umfff,umfff, whats that smell?
ReplyDeleteNow where is Big Bill Jr.? I wonder if he still has his head in the sand claiming the tracks are real b/c he lives near them. What a joke you are.
ReplyDeleteHe's a big guy - I wouldn't say that face-to-face.
DeleteOn the other hand, he could of easily slipped into the Nisqually River observing prints. With that big of a frame, you're balance can get away from you in an instant. That is a fast river with unstable banks.
Someone call Scaleburger in Elbe
This is Scaleburger,
DeleteWe haven't seen Jim in an hour and a half now and we are really worried. If anyone is out looking for him make sure you have an IV filled with creamed gravy with you because if Jim doesn't get his fix soon he may fly into a rage and kill anyone brave enough to approach. Also, rub his belly slowly and make sure you scratch under his chins, this will ensure the bonding process.
Sorry, meant to say big jim. What a clown. He swore up and down that everything was legit. I guess families of bigfoot frequent the beaches in residential areas often near big jim's. Hes probably still searching the beach casting his own tracks in hopes he will get attention. He was probably in on it all along.
DeleteAnd he for sure will change his screen name. After being made for a fool when anyone with 2 eyes coulda seen those tracks were fake. Its astonishing that Randles and Barackman spent more than a glance their.
I also liked how Big Jim claimed you couldnt find any bigfoot shoes for sale that had dermal ridges and that they couldnt have been hoaxed. Big Jim obviously has so much credibility though. Id bet he was in on it.
How about you post some links for these shoes instead of talking out your ass? That way everyone can see the vibram five fingers don't have dermal ridges and the shoes made by that artist in Quebec Canada aren't for sale. Come on and post them as I really want to see proof myself.
DeleteJim, not the shoes that keep getting mentioned here but here's your explanation, why this is so baffling to you I really can't understand :
Deletewww.bigfootencounters.com/biology/baird.htm
Now, where's my burger?
Waaaahhhhhhhhhhh, Waaaaaaaahhhhhhhh.
DeletePoor big jim. Shown to be a fool, so now to try and deflect, he brings up these shoes again. Anyone can make them, its not hard. And no ones talking about that Vibram crap you turd. So now him has to go after any little thing he can to try and act like he knows something or is right about something. But its all over big jim. Your faked little tracks fooled no one but yourself. You insulted anyone who said otherwise and thought you were so clever when in reality it was easier than spit to see they were fake. Fade away now Jim, back into the land of pork and gravy
That link is interesting. A hoaxer's step by step guide to faking tracks. But it still does not explain how it was done at Elbe. Putting fake feet down and pounding would leave multiple marks. Strapping to feet to walk around would be just as hard from the soil conditions and not falling on your ass. My point about the shoes is several people have said you can buy them on the net. I was unable to find anything, and said so. Yet others keep saying you can, so I said put up a link. No one has done so. Still.
DeleteActually Jim, you can take this enlargement method and apply it to the bottom of a pair of shoes or on the end of stilts.
DeleteThat's true, but wouldn't the toes flex and move alot? Isn't that what is so damning in these tracks is no toe flex? Stilts in that mud would lead to a fall. I saw four separate people fall in two days just walking around. That was out of only 12 that I saw. Maybe someone with circus training or as much practice on stilts could pull it off, but it would be extremely hard out there.
DeleteWho cares? They are FAKE! The researchers said they are FAKE because there is something in the back story that seals it. There is no conspiracy "to protect the site", they have information that they are not sharing that reveals the tracks to be FAKE, sight unseen.
DeleteTo their credit, they are telling us to forget about them, rather then using the tracks to get attention. Move on.
I agree it would be difficult Jim, but not impossible. And the lacking toe flex could be explained by using any number of silicone mixes, or just a stiffer casting material to leave a more rigid print. But even though everyone is obviously a little heated, the guy above me is right. It doesn't really matter how it was done as we could come up with multiple ways to do it. Another explanation would be to use a set of guide wires stretched between four poles. Put an operator at either end and move the track along the wires to the diaries spot. They would have weighted the track with a simple block of steel or even rocks and then just lower the track to the desired height, probably 2 to 4 feet above ground and allow the track to drop. Depending on how you rigged the guide wires you could then lift whichever part of the foot you wanted allowing for a convincing visible lift. A lot like old school puppetry really. Now I think the reason people are pissed is that you insulted the intelligence of everyone on here for a week straight. Now that you have admitted you were wrong an apology to those you insulted might be in order. A touch of class never hurts.
DeleteDiaries = desired
DeleteThe only ones I insulted were the ones who trashed me first. Tit for Tat. Those like you, I responded to differently. I think your method would work in an area other than this site. A pole with guide wires would have no support in half the area and would leave marks. I rarely responded to anyone unless they posted under my posts. The people with a healthy skeptism did not flame or trash me. But they also have not shown me how it was done. That is why I am so adamant on this. Unless you see the area, you can't understand. It is not any simple fake. If you were someone offended by me trashing a troll, I am sorry as I was targeting trolls, not skeptics.
DeleteThen maybe you should put in a call to Mythbusters. I'm sure they could come up with at least ten ways to do it and clean up any mess your sharp eyes would have picked up on almost a week after the tracks were made.
DeleteThat would be a funny episode but highly unlikely. The sarcasm I will ignore. I could see them now all covered in mud. Actually if Kari was part of it, it might be one of the most watched episodes. Because you know she would start wrestling around with someone in the mud. Stick her in a swimsuit and it would go off the charts. Grant would build a robot. Adam and Jamie would make some huge wheel to leave prints and Tory would blow stuff up.
DeleteAre you still denying you got hoaxed? I don't get it, of course any number of people could show you different methods to perpetuate this hoax Jim. Damn, anyone with advanced military training, or those who have read up on evasion tactics can cover their own tracks, even in sand. You got HOAXED, now own it.
DeleteActually, come to think of it - he's got everybody fooled.
ReplyDeleteHamburgler Jim = a real live Bigfoot.
He meets the proportions, and knows way too much. Smart bastards they are.
LMFAO @ Big Jim! What a clownfaced retard loser. He'll never be taken serious......ever. Where you at Big Jim? Hiding your dumb face?
ReplyDeleteYou know he is......it doesn't matter anyway because all the people with an IQ above room temperature knew better anyway. But not retard Jim, nope.
DeleteI bet he changes his name to save the egg all over his fat face.
DeleteLooks like Randles is sliding downhill fast. First he threw out his only golden egg, and now getting hoaxed. I imagine the olympic project will now quietly fade into obscurity.
ReplyDeleteDownhill? He's never even been at the top of the hill. What that Elk lay in Skookum?
DeleteThey knew what that was....did Bigfoot magically fly and drop down nice and easy in the mud, then reach up in a wasted motion and get some food? Furthermore, they brought all that casting material with them, they didn't find the lay and THEN send for it immediately after discovery.
All of Bigfootery is a parody of itself. A joke.
Ah geez, no, you think Cliff? Of course they're fake. How you spent time casting, studying and cataloguing these is beyond me in the first place. Gamester tracks I've EVER laid eyes on, period. Blatantly obvious hoaxes.
ReplyDeleteAuto-correct : gamester = gayest
DeleteUnlike most of the trolls here, I am not afraid to admit if I am wrong. I thought the tracks were real because after visiting the site twice, I could see no easy way to hoax them. I explained that over and over. I also said if the were hoaxed I want to know how. I had never seen real tracks before and based off what people I trusted to know the difference said and my own observations, I thought the tracks were legit. If they are not, they are not. But I still want to know how and why. How it was done and why are they fake if no one has admitted to it. Could I fake tracks? Sure just like anyone. But I have never done so. I myself wasted two days and lots of diesel fuel checking this out. I live close, about thirty miles from Elbe, but not that close. As I said before, I was dealing with funeral plans for my father in law and most likely at his funeral or his home with the family when the tracks were suspected of being made. After the 17th, my security cameras at home could prove when I went anywhere and for how long, so don't look at me for it. I was extremely excited about this find, especially after several people with WAY more experience thought they were real. A bigfoot pathway thirty miles from you home and you have a great interest in bigfoot. Who wouldn't be excited. I had an opportunity to learn, which is something that everyone should do. So I checked them out. I posted my view of what I saw. This was much more than anyone else did. Even the researchers. I also asked to see these links for bigfoot shoes with dermal ridges. To this post, no one has provided a link. No one. I posted info on the vibram five fingers and the largest size available. I also posted the shoes do not have dermal ridges on them because they dont. They have lines and circles for traction that look nothing like dermal ridges. So to sum it up, I never claimed to be a track expert. I stated it appears to be real because I could not see any easy way to fake them. Elbe is a tiny town of 29 residents literally stuck on the edge of a lake and miles of forest. Elk walk through town to the lake, so why not bigfoot? Hell, bear and cougar tracks have been found on the shoreline there. I also ALWAYS stated if the tracks were fake, they did a masterful job and I want to know how. Even offering to buy them a burger. Which, by the way, I have not eaten at in years. So for all the trolls, take your potshots while you can. Just remember one day your little basement dwelling world will crash down on your head. Either when bigfoot is proven real, or you finally graduate highschool and realize the only attention you can get is from your hand.
ReplyDeleteExcellent summation of your involvement. You want to play "researcher" let this be a lesson that you can't claim to be 99% on anything. Yes, you were one of the only people who went to the Elb sight who defended these tracks without getting all the facts, because obviously everyone else realized that SOMETHING wasn't adding up. It's cool you can admit you're wrong, but you have been posting the comments of a true asshat the last week.
DeleteHis comments were better than that other no talent ass-clown
DeleteMy only advice - make it brief, or form some paragraphs
Hey Jim, posted this above but here it is again if you missed it:
Deletewww.bigfootencounters.com/biology/baird.htm
You're going to have to overnight that burger though.
I have no doubt in the possibility of Bigfoot, but if it looks to good, it probably is.
Big Jim, as you know there are WAY too many dumbass wastes of human flesh and time that have nothing better to do than to bash on others and kick people while their down. You were excited, you made statements on it and YOU TRIED. Wanting to believe in something should not make anyone at fault, its just that these absolute losers have absolutely NOTHING better to do! (to all trolls, your empty void of a life is not and will NEVER be filled by becoming excrement every time you post...how very sad for you that you are literally the waste that society truly does not need and like a turd is fleetingly paid attention to only when set on fire. You're welcome :)
DeleteOh please Jim, you cant admit when your wrong anymore than you can stop eating butterfingers. You attacked anyone who questioned you earlier this week and claimed they couldnt be fake. B/c of course you visited the site. Now you come on here and say this is the first set of tracks youve ever seen. So you were defending so hard something you had no knowledge of whatsoever. It was probably you who casted his own tracks and claimed they were real.
DeleteThen someone above posts the link to the bigfoot shoes with dermal ridges like youve been wanting and whining about. So now what big jim. Are you going to admit that you were wrong about that too. But you pitched a big fit about it, saying their were none out their and that you dared someone to show you them. Well they just did you gravy chugging looser.
Your done big jim. Your credibility is gone, whatever little you had. Its time to fade into obscurity. But hey, you can always visit the beaches of elbe and hope a family of bigfoot will leave tracks for you another day. Poor big jim, the fool!
I actually said in some of my first posts it was my first track line, on here or in the forum. I also never claimed to be an expert, ever. I used onsite observations, the word of real experts, and looking at casts of the tracks. Because real experts felt the tracks were real, I agreed because I can't see any easy way to fake it without leaving lots of marks showing a hoax. I have always said if someone faked these show me how. I defended my observations and only trashed those who trashed me. The ones who had legitimate doubts or questions asked them and I replied without trash talk.
DeleteAs for the link above yet again it is NOT shoes for sale that have dermal ridges. The person who posted it found an interesting link on how to make fake feet and tracks. A step by step guide, but beyond most hoaxers and way more expensive than cut outs. I would imagine that method of making fake feet is very easy to spot. And padding your feet to not leave marks would not work for the Elbe mud. You, the directly above poster, not the link poster, are yet another troll who is saying proof of something without even clicking the link to read it. At least I got off the couch and went outside before stating my opinions. And as for credibility, no one, NO ONE, who thinks as I do has even a scrap of credibility on the net because of trolls. Those that do think as I do accept the fact, and also accept that it will never change. I posted my observations, some pics after requests which I stated from get go were not very good, and explain my reasoning. I made my case. I asked if it was a hoax that the person who did it show me. I may be wrong on the trackway, but so far no one has come forward. The real experts are backing away to save face because they think it might be a hoax now. Fine, but they have and had more info right from day one. It took awhile before they said it was fake. And also are not giving all the reasons why. Just they think they are fake.
As I have said over and over, show me how it was done. I want to know so if I stumble on tracks, I know what to look for before calling in an expert and wasting their time.
I still want to know why they are fake and how it was done. I have heard a rumor twice now that people are saying the tracks are fake when they aren't because there is or will be a fairly large investigation in the area and because it is so easy to find they are down playing it to protect the site. If true, it is a pretty chicken shit thing to do in my book. But it is their investigation if true and I would not want tons of people wandering the woods. But it could be done differently.
Jim, you make it sound like faking footprints is akin to building an invisible space shuttle. They are impressions in dirt and sand, that can be created in more than one way: the process can not be run backwards in time without info from the hoaxer. The context, back story, surrounding circumstances or whatever is very, very important.
DeleteIgnore those things and you end up making silly claims like the probability of a fake is 1/5000(=99.98% sure they are real)!
Big jim how stupid are you? youve already proven your a moron for your elbe trackway claims. Now your coming forward and saying that it may all be a cover up. How stupid are you? You were wrong, you have no skill or knowledge in the area, and you will continue to be wrong.
DeleteYou think hoaxing tracks on a beach is hard. I know its hard for you b/c you can barely wallk but a normal size man is well capable of wearing bigfoot shoes and taking long strides. Its people like you with these rediculous claims that ruin it.
Stick to the biscuits and gravy Jim. You know what, i take that back. Please make more claims, b/c it will make it funner when we all get to call you out again for being a fool.
And you really think someone would tell you how it was faked? Just so you could try and fake it. Dont worry you will never see a real track so you dont have to worry about it.
DeleteIN big jims mind:
A populated beach with bigfoot tracks. at least 3 people jogging have already found them before the guy who started casting them. Their are human footprints and dog prints all around them. The caster casts his own footprints and claims they were from a bigfoot. Then remembers they were his own. Track depth isnt even near correct. bigfoot family is walking through the best possible footprint conditiosn.
Conclusions: How can it be faked! Its near my house. Derek Randles and Barackman are their. It has to be real. Its in a populated area with people walking the beach numerous times a day, but that is nothnig, its gotta be real. oh yeah, time for gravy.
Behold Big Jim Jr.
DeleteThe fabled website where the shoes exist.
Note that the sculptor clearly states that plans were afoot to make these available from purchase ot anyone. And this is an old article.
But no no, bigfoot shoes dont exist that you can buy with dermal ridge.
Big Jim, give it a rest. Everything you say is easily proven wrong. If you think this guy hasnt sold some of his shoes your an even bigger fool than i thought.
http://www.cryptomundo.com/bigfoot/bigfoot-shoes/
Ok, one last time. Until you see the area the tracks were made, ypu can't understand why I want yo knoe how. It is not a very populated area. Elbe has 29 residents who live there and a main road, two lanes, one in each direction, that goes through it. You then turn right to go Morton or straight to get to Ashford and Mt Rainier. Ashford has a much higher tourist attraction than Elbe. Elbe has literally a gas station, Scaleburger, a small general store and the train shops and diner car. I think a train ride goes out to Mineral from Elbe still. Maybe a another shop or two I can't remember. It is not a very populated town. Most tourist stop in Ashford or Morton. The beach is not really a beach. It is a mud flat exposed when the lake level drops. There is lots of drift wood, mud, gravel, rocks, and some sandy spots. Back towards Alder, there are two public access beaches in parks. Plus another near the dam end. The mud flat is not popular as it is mud. Now, I heard the story like this. Two fishermen saw tracks, reported to Cliff in email, no response, so reported to BFRO. BFRO sends out investigator. Investigator looks everything over, makes casts, lets other know. Word gets spread, others look around and cast everything, then hear the smaller tracks are first guy on scene, pics are posted, I know area and go out, look around and make own report since people asked. I did not have access to backstory, anything. I looked at area, saw it is not easy to fake tracks and said so. I know tracks can and are easy to fake. But this spot is not one that anyone woulf be able to do it easily. Even Cliff is now calling this the most elaborate and complex hoax he has ever seen. So yes, this would be like building a space shuttle. And I want to know how. Just like every troll on here wants proof of every possible bigfoot thing, I want to know how it was done. Because whoever did it left nothing at the site that I am aware of showing a hoax. If they had, it would have been called hoax day one, not day 14. For those who live in WA, go to the site, walk the mud and drop into the bank cut. Show me how. Otherwise fuck off. And again, those shoes are not for sale. There were two pairs made by an artist in Canada. He never offered them for sale. Google does not have three links for dermal ridged fake bigfoot shoes for sale. If you can find those links, post them. I asked for the links for shoes for sale, not that they exist. Again, otherwise fuck off. The rumor of the cover up is just that a rumor I heard twice. I do not know where or who started it. It seems like a cop out to me. If the rumor is designed to draw out the hoaxer though, that makes perfect sense.
DeleteYou continue to react like a defensive asshat. Surprise!
DeleteGive it up big jim. Your just covering up what you originally wrote. The persons story who originally found them wasnt anything like that. As you can go back and read his original count of how it happened.
DeleteYou were provided with a link where it clearly shows the bigfoot shoes complete with dermal ridges with the words under it that they are going to be made for sale. So now what Jim. Oh yeah, you just keep denying it.
It wasnt even a good hoax. And people everywhere were calling b.s. from day one. The story, the people, the place, nothing added up. And the pictures proved it. First i dont think anyone believes that Barackman said this was an amazing complex hoax. That is you who says that. But then again, barackman to my knowledge has never seen a real trackway (possibly the london one, if that one was real), but thats it. He hasnt studied footprints, hes never had bigfoot encounters. He is a TV personality, thats all. So why you would put him on a pedistal is beyond me. He knows about as much as you do.
Why cant you get it into your thick head that you were wrong, and you have no buiness commenting on things. NOt only that but why cant you see that it was hoaxed quite simply by a man in bigfoot shoes. You seem to think its not possible. It might surprise you that some of us only eat 3 meals a day too. But im sure thats as big of a mystery to you as how the elbe trackway was made
And Jim, we have all been looking at photographs from the scene for more days than I can count at this point. Please stop saying we can't understand because we haven't been there. It is a cheap and insulting copout. We have all been to areas like this, they don't only exist in Elbe. Most of us are intelligent enough to look at the pictures and realize how it was done. You yourself said it was dry up to that point and that even your 400 lb frame didn't sink in like these tracks. That right there should be explanation enough as to why you couldn't see any signs of the hoax. We get it, it was close to your house and you got excited. But you were wrong, and it doesn't matter HOW they did it because it has been shown many times before that it CAN be done. You're beating a dead horse Jim.
DeleteDermal ridges, long stride, impressions, toe shape etc....I think everyone knows what makes up a bigfoot track, right?
ReplyDeleteThis is the reason why tracks can only allude to the fact that a Real animal made them, and other evidence must be obtained to qualify tracks as being authentic.
ReplyDeleteBig surprise. I no longer want to see any of your personal photos of the tracks Jim. Bwaaahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteJim Jim sounds like a fag.
ReplyDeleteJail for hoaxers, no more, no less.
ReplyDeleteFrom this point on in the history of bigfoot, very very few tracks are going to have any meaning what so ever. Disregarding my personal opinion of finding bigfoot, which isnt good, the show has proved to be a detriment to those who are interested in this subject. It used to be that their were groups who would hunt for bigfoot, but it wasnt a widespread thing. But now b/c of the show and the bfro hosting these expeditions, its turned into a phenomenon. Also things like fb/fb have encouraged hoaxing.
ReplyDeleteSo now every person and their brother are out yelling into the woods at night, banging on trees, howling, faking tracks, etc. It has ruined things in my mind.
We will only continue to see these long lines of perfect tracks. If people dont understand that their are people who have bigfoot shoes that are anatomically correct, then i dont know what to tell you. People do anything for a laugh. We now arent gonna be able to trust any track, b/c the hoaxers have gone far beyond wooden bigfoot feet.
You are exactly right. The show has brought too many hoaxers out. This is why I want to know how the Elbe tracks were done. A simple shoe just won't cut it there. If someone stepped up and shows how it was done it might help other hoaxers get better. By hiding details it does nothing to help amateur researchers weed out hoaxs and prevent the real experts from wasting time going out and disproving a track. Then now that this trackway has been stated a hoax, the people who did it will try again. Others have said hiding details and such does nothing to help prove the facts. That is true too.
Delete^ are you completely losing it? Seriously, read over what you wrote again and tell me if that makes ANY sense?
Delete"If someone stepped up and shows how it was done it might help other hoaxers get better."
What the hell is that supposed to even mean? You want the hoaxer to come out with his method to help other hoaxers because you were so impressed? Many people throughout this thread have given you plenty of plausible ways this hoax could have been carried out and you just say oh, we couldn't possibly know because we have never been there and it would be impossible for someone to keep their balance because you saw 4 people fall. My guess is that not one of those people was young or athletic by any means. So, while your fat ass may not be able to stand upright and run in hilly sand there are PLENTY of people in the world who could pull it off perfectly. The more you write on hear the dumber you sound Jim.
Oh yeah, what hoaxer is going to come out and tell how they pulled it off in the name of helping Bigfoot "researchers"? Are youReally that delusional?
DeleteThe But by hiding got chopped somehow, probably by my phone. The sentence should read, If someone stepped up and shows how it was done it might help other hoaxers get better but by hiding details it... The reason why details are being held back by the BFRO is they don't want to make better hoaxers. That is what I was talking about.
ReplyDeleteThe people who fell were varied in age, one middle age, two young adults or late teen and the last one around my age I think. Which is 37. None of them was even close to fat. The youngest were very fit. I did say I was able to duplicate the stride by trotting in earlier posts. But my tracks didn't leave as deep a print as the others. And I didn't fall doing it. I did slip and slide. Which is why I keep saying what I do. A simple hoax with shoes should have left marks, fall marks, all kinds of stuff showing a hoax. The tracks were mostly in mud, not sand. The top part was clay silt mud on sand. Only one small area was sand that had tracks. The top part was dried out when I was therebut when the tracks were made it was wet mud on sand. You could see slide marks all over from the researchers. Again, that is why I keep saying what I do. Let me put it this way.
You have 15-17" shoes on your feet. You trot or run across a slippery mud flat being very careful to ensure each track is just right. Then you drop down a five to seven foot high bank and walk with a stride from two to almost five feet on a narrow strip of mud. As you are doing this, you are making sure each step is perfect. Then up the bank, across a sandy spot and back out. Most likely you do this at night. Sounds easy right? But why did no one say it was fake right away? No one saw anything that gave it away, only after casting and being unable to reach the guy who reported the tracks is anyone saying hoax. What are the odds of a person with big heavy shoes on running across mud and such and not falling, when one third of people I saw on site AFTER parts of the area dried fell? Oh, most likely at night. Does that help see why I say it can't be so simple? Maybe someone could do it that way, but most people doubt it. So I want a better explanation. Not a cop out "big jim, you are a douche too fat to see the obvious go eat gravy covered butterfingers" A person spent a great deal of time and effort doing this and I want to know how. For the reasons I have stated ten million times now. What is wrong with that? You guys all demand proof of everything so how does it feel with me demanding proof?
^^^ straws bro, grabbing at straws. That one was even a bit trolly.
DeleteA for effort though - Big Jim is either a con-artist or a newbie with a lot of energy.
DeleteI think its prob the latter. Hopefully he can keep it going, cause it's not always this sexy (major trackway close to home). Lots of downtime too.
Nah, it is more boredom than anything. I am sick in bed right now and have nothing better to do. But I checked out the site, listened to others who said they thought it legit, can't see any easy way to do it so I followed the experts words since I am not one on bigfoot tracks. They are backing away and not saying much more. So being a very curious person I keep feeding trolls and tried to bait the people who might have done it into coughing up more details. I know one of the trolls probably is in on it. They would be on all the sites laughing at the carnage. Since I would really like to know how for reasons I said I keep poking at them. But Shawn will have this topic off the front page soon, so I am giving up for now. It was a masterful hoax and got me, but since I am a nobody in the bigfoot world and don't want to be, what did they accomplish? I do feel bad for the real guys in the research field that wasted their time and effort on this and was hoping to lure the hoaxer out for them. Oh well, next time maybe. I am sure another Elbe trackway topic will get put up.
ReplyDelete^ ^ ^ Total Asshat, 0% credibility.
