The Live Bigfoot Hunting Show Cost $75 Per Person To Attend

The live Bigfoot hunting show we posted about had some problems during the broadcast, such as audio feed back issues, but overall it was a good show. The participants paid about $75 dollars for an afternoon lecture and presentation at the Hampton Inn in Morehead.

According to paranormal researcher Chad Mori, he paid $150 for the permit from the U.S. Forest Service for the night hunt, which lasted until 2 a.m. Sunday. He said the document read "Permit to Hunt Bigfoot."

According to Kentucky.com, some participants were able to purchase additional items such as "evidence kits" for $25 dollars:

Participants could buy boxed "evidence kits" for $25 that included plastic bags, specimen cups and tweezers to collect sasquatch scat and hair in the field. The kits also included ingredients to take plaster casts of footprints. A book titled The Beginner's Guide to Bigfoot Research was for sale, next to another paperback titled Zombies: What You Need to Know or You'll Die.

If you missed the live broadcast, don't feel too bad because the next Bigfoot hunt is planned for April 2013 in Morehead.

  1. So, for $150 the U.S. Forest Service sold a "permit to hunt bigfoot" at night in a national forest?

    1. I wonder if that "hunt" means shoot to kill, or merely locate and observe.

  2. Not a big deal. Why go through all that trouble to give folks free entertainment? 75 is reasonable.

    2. I'm pretty sure Ted is in lock down and not permitted internet access. Hell, I'm not really sure that he has much access to the outside world.

  6. The monetization of Sasquatch has been underway since at least the Patterson-Gimlin film. I have no objection to it at all. I'm doubtful that I would commit my own hard-earned money to the Bigfoot Hunting Show, but to each his own.

  7. Costed? Costed? Are you kidding me! And they wonder why the U.S. has dropped to #8 in World competiveness. The dumbing down of America is alive and well on this site, Go back to school, get a tutor if necessary, improve yourself for the love of Pete.

  8. Typos and the occasional grammar mishaps are fine, but "costed" is a gut-wrenching mistake. You need to have tighter editorial control over the content you create if you want any credibility.

    1. Absolutely 100% agreed. When running such a popular site, it really needs an editor that is competent because it does indeed bring credibility into issue.

    2. Yeah, bigfootery isn't going to get any credibility with poor grammar.
