Skookum the Movie fundraising campaign now on Indiegogo.com

Hey everyone (especially Bigfooters)! Please watch this movie trailer for "Skookum" and see if you're interested in making it happen. Dr. Jeff Meldrum had a role in the early drafts of the screenplay and he made sure that the movie portrays the Sasquatch in "a very respectful way that defers to scientific plausibility and possibility in the existence of the creature".

The film will be produced and by Debi King McMartin, who served as producer for the accolade award winning documentary film Dreamers and Gamblers: Spirit of the Pioneer Wildcatters and also served as co-writer for the book and screenplay that the independent feature film "The Pardon" was based on.

This trailer for Skookum looks amazing and we have no doubt that it's going to be a hit if they can raise enough money to make it all happen. They're looking to raise $75,000 on indiegogo.com, and the top donations will win a dinner with Jeff Meldrum or a thermal imager.

  4. If this is a BF/slasher movie, something such as this story will frighten the public half to death when the BF/Sasquatch is revealed as existing in our woodlands all over the country.
This movie can cause harm to come to any Sasquatch that a hunter or an armed person encounters.
Please say somewhere that this is a work of fiction, and that most every Sasquatch encounter is a short but safe one as the Sasquatch runs away from humans and/or the humans run away from the Sasquatch.

    3. You idiots don't own the comments section yet.And Linda don't leave because they think you should and I agree another bloodbath Bigfoot movie isn't the kind that needs to be made.
The punks above are just kids trying to act like big tough men and are failing.

    4. Blood bath Bigfoot movies are what brings people in. If you want a kumbaya Bigfoot movie, approach Disney and have them make an animated movie.

    5. Yeah Rictor all of the blood bath movies have done so well at the box office.
I think other things other than kids movies and other realm Bigfoot movies can and should be made.

  7. Is that the sound of Geese in the beginning? I thought that was an Egret? Cheap as f**k... Isn't "Skookum" a name that Sali Sheppard-Wolford used to describe Bigfoot per her experiences in Washington?

  10. isn't the word skookum a native american term from the pac-west? so do they (indians from louisiana) also call sasquatch as we know it skookum down there? this story kinda dosen't jive with what we know as the skookum meadows in washington! i don't know what's up with the reason they are calling it skookum(another term for bigfoot)when it looks as if the movie is taking place in the american south! in the f-ing swamps!! i don't know this, but i'm sure they ain't calling bigfoot mr. skookum down there. or are they? help a white boy out!
