In the summer of 2006, two bigfoot hunters led a group of curious, young paranormal investigators into the hills of southern New York on a quest for evidence of the legendary beast.

Shot completely on consumer level equipment with a budget under $50, this documentary follows Tim Holmes of the Southern Tier Bigfoot Watch and Becky Sawyer of Searching for Bigfoot Inc. as they trek deep into Connecticut Hill, a location rife with reports of mysterious monster sightings and unexplained events.

Although initially skeptical of Tim's wild stories and unnerved by Becky's militant commands, things get weird after bizarre encounter in the pines, and the group is forced to reassess their beliefs regarding the existence of Bigfoot.

Sometimes funny, sometimes scary, but always entertaining, 'The Bigfoot Hunter: Still Searching' is a story that asks, what means more in the end: the destination or the journey; the evidence or the story?

    Hey guys! This is Greg from the film. Thanks a ton for featuring this here! I saw a few questions, so I figured I'd pop in and answer them.

    This *is* the video Biscardi wanted to pulled from about five years ago. Sort of. The version you saw was actually only half of the film in an extremely rough form. It got leaked out, and so we ran with it and let it stay up. After a few years, I finally got the bug, and put the full film together and it turned out so great, we started giving it screenings. Sold out, each one, lots of fantastic responses. It's a super fun film, and surprisingly enough, Biscardi had us on his show and told us he actually enjoyed it. So I'm not sure what changed his mind, but he doesn't hate it any more.. that could be because Becky Sawyer, one of the bigfoot hunters featured in the movie, doesn't work for him any longer.

    The film isn't so much about bigfoot (that's for our NEXT film, Planet Weird), as it is about Tim the bigfoot hunter. The dude takes GRENADES into the forest with him and "always saves the last bullet" for himself in case of an attack. How could we NOT make a film about this guy?

Bigfoot injured by a forest fire was taken away and hidden by the authorities, not even Robert Lindsay can top this story

This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns".
