ESPN's Colin Cowherd Claims "Patterson-Gimlin film was confirmed as a hoax"

Did you know that the Patterson-Gimlin footage was confirmed a hoax? We didn't know either. According to ESPN's Colin Cowherd, on Monday, he stated that the Patterson-Gimlin film was proven as a hoax. He was making a comparison of a grainy video showing Kobi Bryant scoring 68 points in 15 minutes on Sports Nation. He stated that anytime there is handheld grainy video it's not believable. Twitter follower Daniel Winn sent the following message to Matt Moneymaker on Twitter:

Colin Cowherd stated that the Patterson-Gimlin film was proven as a hoax. He should do more research. - Daniel Winn
Matt's response?:
Yes, that Colin Cowherd (@ESPN_Colin) is a lying slimeball. - Matt Moneymaker

  1. Another example of mainstream media trying to shape reality, trying to say "All of us normal [!!!] mainstream people 'know' it was a hoax."

Flunky US media at it again. They always go out guns blazing without the education and information they need. They just shoot.

Patterson filmed a man in a gorilla costume and claimed it was Bigfoot.
      Therefore
The Patterson-Gimlin Film is a hoax.

    3. LMAO...Anon @ 8:24 did a "Matt Moneymaker". Stating something as fact without evidence.

Goes both ways...MM shouldn't be stating opinions as fact...same rules apply to skeptics.. so yes, "Prove it" other than stating an opinion as fact.

It is kind of sad, if you hoax and don't admit to it even though it's obvious you're guilty you're okay in the Bigfoot world.

  2. If you watch this show you know Cowherd is a blowhard. He is not well thought out, like say a Michael Wilbon. He makes blanket statements and is a chauvinist. People on national television talking about things they know nothing about sounds like every other t.v. show.

  4. It is confirmed as a hoax, to sane, rational and intelligent people. Only a moron could know the whole story and come away believing it.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If there was a "whole story" as you state, people wouldn't be discussing the film after all this time.
Nobody has confirmed anything. Weighing evidence and coming to a personal conclusion is an opinion and "confirms" nothing.

      Delete
    2. The whole story. Their life history, the fact that he was on the ANE payroll. The fact that the ass doesn't flex but the ass section "shifts" as you'd expect some sort of padding to do, the fact that the suit is scrunching up at both hips. Hairy titties in which no other primate has, the hair line down the middle of the back in which no other primate has. The fact that Gimlin lies EVEN when there's verifiable evidence to prove he's lying. What else has or is he lying about? Patterson drew a pancake tittied female Squatch (just like the suit) prior.

That's why its confirmed as a hoax to me and like I said: "confirmed to sane, rational and intelligent people" as well. Furthermore, what part of that statement did you NOT understand?

      Delete
    3. ^^^^^^and that's not everything that confirms this as a farce to me. Not even close to being everything. The bottom line is: go on through your life believing a known conman and a documented liar filmed Sasquatch when all you have to do is "research" if you want to.........that's your decision and right, its just a poor one.

      Delete
    4. At least you clarified yourself that it's a hoax to YOU. That still doesn't confirm anything as FACT.

Exactly where did I say I believed the film was real or not real? Oh that's right, I didn't.

I've read plenty on the film, I've read all the ANE stuff, I've seen the pictures, I've watched the film numerous times, and the list goes on.
At the end of the day, whatever personal conclusion I come to does not make the film fact or fiction, it makes it my opinion.
Maybe ask questions next time instead of making assumptions about what I think.

    5. You better study the real evidence- the body dynamics for a creature walking on river deposits and the way it turns, soil interaction dynamics, and the anatomy...stay away from the horsecrap. The evidence can be deemed powerful to support a real 7'3" or so creature, especially when combined together with a proportion analysis of the shot showing the bottom of her feet. The 14.5" footprints (more or less the foot size)can be used to measure the body height by anyone to be about 7.5'. The points that you made are inaccurate and not on the table for strong evidence against the figure being real. Better do some research and reasses your inaccurate conclusions.

    6. I 100% BELIEVE IN SASQUATCH..I JUST CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY BOB GIMLIN WILL NOT TAKE A LIE DETECTOR TEST..AND THAT IS WHY I THINK THE PGF FILM IS A FAKE! IMO..

    8. ^^^^^Ha ha, no doubt. However, all joking aside while I'm thoroughly convinced PG is a farce I have to admit that I believe Smeja. If I'm wrong I quit. Its really that simple for me.

      Delete
    9. Amazing and amusing that ^^^^^^^ can call a video that has been studied, critiqued, analyzed, and studied again a "farce" yet you willfully believe Smeja on a polygraph test w/o any further evidence. The reason lie detector tests are not allowed in court is because they can be beaten. I personally believe the PG film is real because the time/date it was videoed (over 40 years ago) yet it can't be reproduced w/o CGI and Hollywood elite even today. The creature depicted in the film is accurate by thousands of eyewitness accounts (most current) Smeja on the other hand....well, he might be telling the truth but he has not film, no tracks, nothing. Again, you attack the most believable piece of evidence yet you blindly believe a story and a lie detector test. I don't get it. The weak argument about "padded suit" or man in monkey suit is absolutely ridiculous. Out one side of the mouth your camp speaks foolishness, then you jump to the other extreme with foolishness for the other side of the debate.

      Delete
    10. "You better study the real evidence"

The real evidence has been put forth by the Munns report, the NASI report of 1998 and exhaustive enhancements by MK Davis. Why don't you @ssholes start there and then come back and spew some more crap. The evidence is the FILM. Not who or what Patterson or Gimlin may or may not have been. There is NO Fucking suit anywhere that can replicate what is on film!!!! How many fucking times has it got to be laid out for you dickheads? Either open your fucking eyes or go fuck yourselves.

Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two images.
Maybe you could space it out better?
