This Piece Of The Sierra Kills Bigfoot Steak Is Going To Dr. Bryan Sykes at Oxford University

This plastic freezer jar contains a piece of the "Bigfoot steak" that was recovered from the Sierra Kills location by Justin Smeja back in November 2010. Justin tells us he's planning to send this sample to Oxford University for DNA analysis. Currently, the jar(s) are tightly sealed and kept inside the freezers of friends and family.

  1. Hopefully the boys at Oxford will be more reliable than The Ketchum Project.

    1. Good job and hats off to Smeja...one way or another the truth will come out.

    2. There's no question that the results will be published in a very timely manner. Whether they are the results that everyone is looking for is yet to be determined. There's absolutely no question that this is the guy you want testing your evidence.

    3. Furthermore, I applaud Smeja for going to someone else. Ketchum has been nothing but unprofessional over the entire course of the study. She is NOT someone I'd want handling my evidence and I bet that rings true for 80% or more of others.

    4. Why should it even matter who makes the discovery first, it'll matter to the scientist perhaps but we shouldn't care much as long as we'll know too. In fact, Ketchum probably is first as she's already publicly announced the species real and have that paper coming.
I think this being such a big thing the two labs should co-work on it rather than be competitors including come presentation time, it's not a sports event after all - provided Sykes finds anything of course.

    5. Actually if two or more Labs independently verify the same, unexpected results then Bigfoot just gained huge notoriety in Science and media.

    6. Timmy, Thank you for being the type of person that you are, a person that can look at the evidence and make a decision to see what the DNA report (along with hi def videos) will reveal, and to treat believers with dignity and respect. I really admire you, and I'm so thankful that you are a part of this adventure leading one day soon to the truth being revealed about this species really existing. Timmy, You are one of the "good" guys involved in this debate which is leading up to the scientific disclosure of the truth of their reality. You are willing to listen and to have an open mind, and I really respect and admire you for that. Major hugs to you from me..

    7. Thanks Linda; I admit I came here many times to chide and ridicule believers, but from a friend's personal experience that attitude has changed. Im glad too, because I actually enjoy the positive banter a lot more.

I'm a skeptic but I could be wrong..and either way the actual truth will come out. Maybe I just soent to much time on this blog LOL!

      Thanks!

    8. Anon at 10:05- Dr. Ketchum really hasn't publicly declared Bigfoot "real". What I mean is that I have not read this in any MSM outlets.
Making comments on Facebook or Twitter are hardly the route of professionals looking to make a public announcement to the masses.
Linda, I have nothing against you whatsoever and your comments are always polite. The word "believers" does nothing to help the community, it gives the trolls ammunition and the skeptics take us less seriously. I personally don't like the use of the word "believers", it sounds to Jim Jones to me.
Yes, I think Sasquatch exists, but I am not a Believer, if that makes sense.
As for the topic of discussion. I'm very curious why Justin is all of a sudden doing interviews, sharing information, and providing exclusive photos.
Did someone upset him? Is his conscience bothering him? Is it marketing for his book?
I'm not accusing him of anything but I think the question needs to be presented to him in the next video interview.
It's easy to get lost in all the small details coming out and it can be distracting. I want to know what the big picture is.

    9. I forget the BTR show now but she did basically say yes they exist in her interview there. We already know it's true of course many of us, but it's still nice to hear it from someone actually examining the species' DNA.

  3. Quite ironic it sitting on top of a dollar bill don´t you think?
This is why I believe he took the baby BF, greed/fame and money are base instincts for humans (more so for renecks who get kicks out of simple things like killing with a gun).
So no way in hell would he have left something there if he could carry it. The big BF sure but the little one? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    1. What does killing it with a gun have to do with anything? It could have been killed with a knife, a bomb a sledgehammer, baseball bat or a bow and arrow. I bet you and MM make smelly butt-sex together.

    2. Dude,
If the sample was in the freezer, he might not want to get moisture on the wood table.

    3. I definitely don't know smej nor do I know his motives, but it has been 2 years since he supposedly shot these creatures. You say he is acting out of greed with his releasing of info and such now, and that he has the baby's body (maybe he does, we don't know that). But if he did have the body for the last 2 years and has been sitting on it then greed probably has very little to do with this situation. If you had definitive proof of a new species in your freezer in the form I an infant Sasquatch would you sit on it? I know I would not, and probably most here would agree. Why wait, the carcass isn't appreciating in value the long he has it, it's worth the same now as it would've been the day he shot it. So your greed accessment is baseless and ridiculous! The simple answer here is that it is unlikely that he ha a body to begin with let alone shot 2 of them. Why wait, for DNA tests on a small piece of flesh when you have an entire body that would put an end to the debate?

      Delete
    4. I think he is waiting until the legality of the situation dies down, he was poaching, shooting from a vehicle, shooting an animal not on the list of animals able to be shot during the hunting season. He was possibly drunk etc ALL these things could cause him trouble. So by waiting longer he is safer, also by mixing in within the BF community he can say he is trying to help them now. He is not as dumb as he makes out, he is a player. He is waiting for the DNA profile then he can sell whatever he has for a hell of a lot more.

  4. Hope he didn't get it confused with Friday's left overs!

  5. This was inevitable, in fact I would have thought that a sample would have already been sent and may have. For Justin to come forward with so much in the last few days means he has made some real friends with Shawn and Ro, and they in turn have put their trust in him, as has Derek and Bart and others, some time ago. After seeing his interview and the alliances he has formed I believe him, and as reprehensible as his initial actions were, I can only hope that this will help to secure recognition in the scientific and public community of the Sasquatch and eventually lead to protection of the specie so this never happens again.

    1. I am actually believing him as well......but, time will tell if its all an elaborate attention-seeking hoax or if he truly shot and basically proved Bigfoot exists....and not that far from where I live. Still a really big IF In my opinion.

    2. Let me correct that: I believe that JUstin believes he shot Bigfoot...or at least a human with a condition he is unfamiliar with. He is protecting himself from a felony charge.

NOT saying that I believe in Bigfoot yet....

    3. Ahh Timmy, getting close though eh?

      Delete
    4. It's very close now yes. Look, it's already de facto proven by tracks and sightings no matter how much cynics like playing the Devil's advocate on that. The big guys really do exist so it's always just been a sooner or later situation, and will remain so, a matter of time for us all to know.

  6. It's a damn good thing the "steak" or at least a piece of it is going to oxford because IF anything comes out of this it probably wont be taken serious coming from Ketchum. Some of the things she has said sound just a little bit kooky where as Oxford has a very good reputation.I wonder though if he doesn't have a Body where is he getting these pieces to send to other labs but i guess he did say melba only had a piece of it.My personal opinion that dont mean shit is that he or they have a body and are saving it for the big reveal.

    2. I believe Smeja's story 100%, that is that he shot 2 of something on that day. The rest of the story like the status of the bodies is still up for debate. Personally, I believe he took the little one.

    3. Whether they have a body to present eventually isn't so important though certainly interesting if they do, but DNA from whichever lab will be sufficient first clues.

  7. Why is this whole dam story taken so long to resolve? All these so called projects as their called have been investigating this for almost two years now and quite frankly im pretty sick n tired of reading about nothing but a whole lot of study this n that bullshit!

    1. I can answer that with just one word.....Ketchum.

    2. No, the scientists working on this isn't the problem - the stumbling block is social ie the authorities. The only place there's big bucks to be made in Bigfoot is actually keeeping it a secret, ie the current status quo because the real money is whether the logging industry makes any or not. They're the real moneymakers in this and they dread the debate that's coming hence all their silly trolls here, but they'll have to now and I sense they've basically given up and resigned realizing this will come out sooner or later anyway. So basically it's officials holding it back, not sure if Ketchum will admit that, maybe she will later to explain the delay but so far the re-writes (and there undoubtedly were some) is the reason. I guess she's been given the go-ahead if it's at a journal and out of her hands now, remember she keeps insisting it'll be worth the wait.

  9. Didn't Justin say he sent samples to other labs as well with "encouraging" results? I hope that info gets shared with Sykes' crew as well.

    1. Bobo in his interview with Joe Rogan confirmed that samples are at independent labs that apparently have been forthcoming with some results to Justin, Bobo, Derek, and anybody closely associated with Justin. Bobo kept saying the results are showing a relic hominid from the Ketchum DNA, and the independent labs results, I guess the word encouraging could be used. He implied the same as Justin did that complete results would soon (the most overused word in Bigfoot DNA study) be known.

  10. Justin has stated that he cut or recovered about a 10 pound piece from the BF body. These smaller specimens are coming off of that one large hunk of muscle and flesh that Justin collected.

  11. Last I heard it was 2 1/2 lbs.

  12. Does any one know the statute of limitations for killing a non game animal in California? That might be the delay. If it is two years and all the studies show it is not totally human, this might explain the delay.

  13. Oh god what BS....................can't you see Oxford needs funding and doesn't give a f*ck about this sh*t?

I'll bring this post back up in months when nothing happens.
