SnowWalkerPrime Goes On Bigfoot Field Trip At Bigelow Mountain Preserve

The Bigelow Preserve, located by Flagstaff Lake in Maine, encompasses the entire Bigelow Mountain Range. The 36,000-acre Bigelow Preserve is one of the state's largest Public Reserved Land units and a awesome destination for camping, hiking, and apparently Bigfoot. Two years ago, Michael spoke to a ranger who claimed they have had consistent sightings in the area.

  9. Nice video. I actually spent a week in that area about four years ago. Saw alot of moose, but no BF. The view of Flagstaff lake from the top of Mt. Bigelow really gives you a sense of just how vast, and forested Northern Maine is. I remember commenting,to myself, that a small herd of elephants could live out there and nobody would even know. The forest just kept going to the horizon.

  10. you see this is the thing about bigfoot

you have a legit biologist like this way out in the woods and he comes across loads of wildlife... but no bigfoot

then theres the crazies who go out in a national park full of people claiming to see bigfoot behind every tree

conclusive proof bigfoot does not exist, its just in the mind of the crazies

    1. So...no other wildlife exists in Maine except for the species he came across?

    2. no.

i mean only crazies see bigfoot.

    3. bIGFOOT HAS CERTAIN DIMENSIONAL CHARACTERISTCS THAT HUMNAS DON'T.

IT IS SCIENTIFICLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE NARROW MINDED TO SEE HIM!

THE DEFFICIT IS ON THE STUPID HUMAN, NOT HIM.

HE 'S THERE ALL THE TIME, THESE LESS DEVELOPED HUMAN BRAINS DON'T ABSORB INFORMATIOPN QUICKLY ENOUGH FOR THE "SLOW" TO SPOT HIM!

IF YOU SPEND ALOT OF TIME IN THE WOODS AND HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE. YOU PROBABLY RATE VERY LOW ON THE PERCEPTION AND VISUAL ACCUITY SCALE.

IN OTHER WORDS, IT'S NOT HOW WELL YOUR MIND WORKS, IT'S HOW FAST!

SNOWBALL HAS A FAST MIND, IF HE KEEPS GOING, HE IS GOING TO SEE ONE!!!!!!

      POLLING ---- TOO SLOW
POO POO SIX1/2 ---- TO SLOW
fASANO --- TOO SLOW, BUT DETERMINED.

    4. You should really stop calling people stupid for no reason.
If you have a theory on how people might be able to spot a Bigfoot, please share it instead of being so confrontational.
I've been to the woods many, many times and have never seen one yet. I keep trying though, and I don't give up.
Every environment and conditions have their unique challenges.
Lighten up a bit Leon. This is not an attack against you, it's friendly advice.

    Yes, excellent! Very reasonable!

    NOT an expedition!

    Well done!

You are wrong. But it doesn't matter. You likely will live a full rich life in complete ignorance. Most do.

I saw one very close - it was not a bear - and I'm not crazy. I'm well educated in the hard sciences (advanced mathematics, physics, biochemistry, anatomy & physiology), a professional programmer, successful, & functional. A good and trusted friend. An experienced mountaineer. Not that the latter mattered as my experience came alongside a road. LOL. Completely chance, literally wrong place, wrong time; I missed my exit. No camera on me; I was just driving home from visiting friends. Pre-cellphone. Just my word which I realize means squat to most no matter how upstanding I am.

I will not give my name publicly: it's not a matter of career or community standing, it's a matter of health. I just can't afford to willingly invite abuse into my life. Look at the posts on this site - crude, hostile, condescending, and mostly hidden in anonymity, with or without a posted name. People who go public are ridiculed and ostracized. What's amazing is that most of those heaping the abuse have no trouble believing in other unproven entities - as long as I believe what YOU believe, well that's OK. Big egos, small minds.

Sadly, I used to feel like you do - I knew they *couldn't* exist - that's what I was taught too. But they do. There is no argument I can offer to convince you; no one here can offer a single argument that will overcome the years of programming we have received.

So instead of offering an argument you won't accept anyway, try this instead: Turn off the TV. Turn off the PC. Turn off the iPod. Turn off the iPhone. Go out to the forest and sit still and quietly, not minutes but at least an hour. The probability of EVER seeing a Bigfoot is stacked 99.75% against you no matter how important you are, however, the forest will come alive. You will likely see, hear, and smell things you never noticed before - or not for a very long time (if you were born before the video-game era). Make the excursion a little longer each time; travel out a little further. It likely won't change your mind on this subject - some folk have been searching for years and never see one - but it will make your life a little richer. Peace.
