Photos: 2012 Bluff Creek/Munns Project With Bobo, Cliff, Bart, Steven Streufert And Other Important People

Bart and Bobo

We understand Bluff Creek, Patterson-Gimlin and all that can be an extremely boring subject-- but it doesn't always have to be that way. Check out all these celebrity photos of Cliff Barackman and Bobo at the Patterson-Gimlin film site. Also, here's a world exclusive summary by our friend who just got back from the site, Bart Cutino:

Quick summary of outing objective: Very proud to help coordinate this collaborative effort in the Bluff Creek drainage with a dozen fellow "cream of the crop" researchers as we attempted to meet several goals in regards to the most watched & debated piece of footage (Patterson/Gimlin film, Bluff Creek, CA 1967) in American history (aside from the Zaprauder film).

Contrary to multiple, unfounded hoax participation claims, rumors & knee-jerk media reports highlighting them (fueling public perception) the film has not only never proven to be a hoax, but has never been successfully duplicated or paralleled in visual anatomical detail and with respect to the subject matter as a whole in 45 years!

Special thanks to my best friend and primary field partner, Rgr Robert Leiterman, who with the help of Rowdy Kelley, Ian C, and Steven Streufert (owner of Bigfoot Books in Willow Creek, CA), over the coarse of a lengthy period in 2010/11 (documented in over 50 videos on youtube in BFROVIDEOS series) successfully and "unarguably" surveyed & confirmed the film site using measurements, standing landmarkers, help of geologists & sheer determination.

In doing so, they had to contend with a site literally buried in secondary growth and now thanks to 45 years of floods and erosive events, sits primarily on flat shelf above the physical creek. Our job following their lead, was to get our friend and brilliant Hollywood FX wizard Bill Munns (two of my 80's favorites in "Beastmaster" & "Swamp Thing") down to the site to first confirm it, then take necessary measurements with primary objectives of solidifying the subject's pathway, determining lense used on original camera and a final determination (with 3-D model use etc...) of accurate size of the P/G film subject.

Still a lot of work to be done on Bill's part (he's been at for several yrs already) but thanks to the hard work of everybody involved, phase I is complete.

I appreciate the hard work and dedication to this project and anxiously look forward to Bill Munn's analysis report, or better yet hopefully it becomes a TV documentary on Animal Planet, Nat Geo, History, or Discovery channel.

  6. Great snapshots there looked like a lot of fun. Funny socalled skeptics get so worked up over people following an outdoors interest while they themselves sit at home bitching. Anyway, you bet both your nuts the pgf is the real squatchy thing, otherwise why would anybody care that a bunch of bigfooters think it is. That it so very clearly is the real thing is the whole reason it's debated today where some old suit no one would care about or bother with, but this film still frighten those against it - undoubtedly they know it's only all too real.

    1. lol? So because people discuss UFO's, mermaids and mothman, makes it real?

      You are talking trash

    2. @2:36

Not to the extent you idiots discuss Bigfoot. I don't think people label themselves Mermaid skeptics. You're viewed as a closet bleever or a simpleton, deal with it.

    3. because you hear about so many people who call themselves bigfoot skeptics... LOL

  7. The prints is obvious a bear print.

Even me, who only have "studied" bear prints through bigfoot documentaries can see that.

    1. Cliff KNEW it was a double-stepped bear print. That is why he cast it, as an example.

  10. Fyi- they know it's a bear print jackass, cutino said so on his fb. I think Barackman casted it and iit was 8-9 inches. They probablytook pic and casted it to show bluff creek substrate.

Its unreal that you'd make the assumption that they'd assume.

    1. Why are you calling me jackass, you jackass? No where i said that they thought it was a bigfoot track.

It's should be clear to everybody that it is a bear track, but ty for telling me that the people on the "investigation"/media trip also know that. Seems like there is still hope

      Delete
    2. Yeah Im sure your intentions had nothing to do with taking cheap jab at researchers here. You just meant to say that you watch a lot of documentaries and are really good at identifying bear tracks...that's it right?
Hey, No need to be embarrassed, it's going to be Ok

    3. Oh f uck off...

You don't know what I am thinking, so don't act like you do. The only thing I did was making a statement.

The only thing you do, is talking trash. But of course, you are a piece of shit, so no wonder you talk like trash.

    2. I am going tomorrow. I was going to go today but I decided to get Super8 cartridges for the other camera. It was a 2 hour round trip so that ate up the morning.
I want to run a test cartridge filming some wildlife as well as looking around with the camcorder. I found a secluded watering hole I want to visit again.

    3. Happy hunting. just being out around the wildlife is awesome, damn I miss it.

    4. Yes I liked the camera, it looked like it was in mint condition, does it have six lenses to choose from, that must have been an expensive bit of kit in it's day.

      Delete
    5. Anon @5:07- From what I've read, the camera only holds 3 lenses, the other 3 are viewfinders for the lenses. At least that's how I understood it.
I found an old ad and the camera was priced at $315. Indeed, pricy in it's time. Still, it's a sweet looking camera.

    6. Thanks SN for answering my question, do you know if you can still get 16mm film ?, I am not contemplating buying a movie camera but I am curious if you can still use them, with Kodak gone now I would surmise you would have to look for old film stocks.

    1. Perhaps you would notice that it isn't the participants calling themselves important? Look, we have no control over Shawn's headlines. I would argue that Munns and Perez being there was pretty important, however.

    1. Wasn't the guy who's pretending to have found the suit supposed to meet up with Munns either from or to his trip to Bluff Creek and pretend to show him the suit ?

Knew it was never going to happen but wonder if Mr. Munns mentioned the pretend meeting ?

  18. Shawn, when are you going to clean some of the scum off of these streets? Dude, you need to step up. It has gotten to the point that everyone you write about on this blog gets called Creepy, Gay, Fat, Idiotic, Stupid, or whatever. Any reasonable dissenting opinion is called Trollish. This is slanderous and ridiculous, and so very juvenile. It is not fair to those who are the source of your subject matter, and the discussions are getting nowhere.

Bobo must have had one hell of a squatchy time there, sharing stories about his many Bigfoot encounters.
A message to all the genuine hunters, kill a bigfoot and become rich and famous, or just shoot Bozo and become famous, you could plea insanity and get away with it.
No one in the right might would be trying to hunt out a non existent creature
