DeleteI don't automatically but enough others seem to have reacted as if he did. Unless they are all lying then perhaps he did. Time will tell. This could well be the con of the decade so we wait to see what comes of this whole shambles. You may find it strange, but not all who have seen one up close full face on, necessarily believe every story that enters the ether. You need to give others the benefit of the doubt. The truth has a funny way of coming out in time. I don't know it all and neither do you! So a healthy skeptism is required by all as to what they are exactly. There is one thing you can take to the bank - what I saw 20 years ago sure convinced me they are real. At 40feet, it weren't no distant blob. I don't expect scoffers to accept that but I don't really give a toss what others think. They weren't there.

ReplyDeleteI think he is very intelligent. hard to know if he's 100% truthful. i get the idea he IS working to make some money. who wouldn't? he also comes across as a genuine good 'ol boy hunter type who wouldn't be facebooking all the time, but rather would be fishing and hunting. been in the woods his whole life and did NOT believe. i don't blame him for shooting the big one. his mind was likely blown at that point. his worldview just crushed in an instant. shooting the little one seems a bit more easy to criticize, but having been in the moment, can't say i would have acted rationally either.
