Mark Your Calendars For The Oklahoma Bigfoot Symposium In October 2012 [Bigfoot Community]

Hey Bigfooters, please grab your phones and write this information down:

Oklahoma Bigfoot Symposium on October 6, 2012 at the Oklahoma Community Building in Stilwell.

From what it sounds like, it's going to be an exciting event this year with their list of cool activities:

Listen to the researchers talk about evidence, research, and the technology behind it all. Concessions will be available and vendors are still welcome. Researchers will be on hand to provide hands-on workshops in casting tracks, audio recording and listening, and how to use equipment in the field. The MABRC Cast collection will be on display for everyone to examine, along with other evidence collected in the field. During the nights of that weekend, folks will be invited to go into the field with the MABRC Researchers into some of the hottest active areas in Oklahoma, along with camping with them too.

You can visit their website at www.okbigfootsymposium.com. It's still under construction, but we're told that they're currently updating the website as of this writing.

  1. Stilwel Oklahoma? Didnt Oklahoma State win the Fiesta bowl last year? I'm sure its a real culture epicenter, and a large majority of their flat-land dwellers will claim to see Bigfoot. The Bigfoot hoax started right here, down the road ala Jerry Crew, Ray Wallace and the Patterson expedition. How'd he get to Oklahoma now LOL?

    1. Flat-land dwellers? Obviously you know nothing about Oklahoma. Oklahoma isn't totally flat my friend, in fact the entire eastern side is rolling hills and forests with some large lakes. Perfect squatch habitat. And if you were thinking that Stilwell, OK is the home of Oklahoma State, again you would be wrong. That's Stillwater. Once again, Timmy has no clue.

    2. Timmy thinks he knows everything about everything.

    3. Okie has seen one there and I believe him. Just saw a show that showed the ozarks area I believe, and it is not flatland. Up here in Washington state we have flat barren areas as well as high mountains. J.D. Wash state

    4. Its Stillwater, OK Timmy. I see you're not a football fan. Who would've guessed? I bet you've never played sports, well, maybe soccer and I bet you didn't even keep score.

    5. Everybody thinks Timmy Is a HE. TIMMY IS A GIRL

  2. Somehow I don't think Dr. Ketchum will be at this one? Even with Journal in hand...

  3. Is that the same weekend as Arla's Honobia Conference?

  5. This is great, I can't wait to get together with other researchers and slap each other on the back for doing good work, even though none of us has any better evidence than there was 20 years ago. I wish I had some kind of skills or hobbies, but I don't so, Bigfoot will have to do...it makes me feel important and smart.

  7. Perhaps they could get some speakers who are NOT some kind of "director" of something or other in the MABRC? That would be more like a real "Symposium."

    1. Ah yes, there it is, the hatred between footers. It's always right there, under the surface, waiting to rear it's ugly head.

    2. Just look at it. It is an MABRC self-love pep rally.

I don't "hate" them. It just sounds rather one-dimensional and self-congratulatory.

    3. About as one-dimensional and self-congratulatory as your blog does Steven? Seriously dude, you seem to have a hard on for anyone that doesn't proclaim you as the greatest. This is the first year for this event, and other speakers are being brought on board. I've watched you attack just about everyone in this community in one form or another, it's really pathetic in the end.

    4. Or......... there's a lotta crap is this so called community, and a whole lot of thin skin, when it's pointed out.

Is it solving a phenominon, or is it about being a damn cult, propped up by egos who care more about stupid youtube hits than the truth?

      Think about it, hard

  8. No just the boredom of the MABRC's desperate need to toot their own horn, when not being hoaxed or taking blob pictures.

  9. Sorry I can't make it. This clashes with the main dogman conference of the year.

  10. So your missing their mutual admirmation and blob appreciation society. A non event.
