Clipper Mills, CA Bigfoot Vocalization Enhanced, Now Even More Creepier

In this enhanced audio version, you are no longer required to put on your headphones to hear the Bigfoot vocalization. It was recorded by campers on July 8, 2012 near Clipper Mills, CA. It's one of the most intense purported Bigfoot vocalization we've heard in a long time.

According to the uploader, "This is as it happened, it changed us, we will never forget that night as long as we live. I am so glad I caught this to prove our sanity and to remind us that this actually happened."

  1. Crazy. It's sounds like there are more than one.

Why do they just scream like that? There are several other recordings like this where they just scream and scream for long periods of time. Are they pissed? Are they communicating with others?

Either way I'd be a little nervous if I heard that in the woods at night.

Those dogs were focused on that sound too. They definitely heard it better than anyone else.

    2. OK...OK....I have gotta say that I have heard a few of these recording from my area. Usually there is one "screamer" and being the perpetual skeptic, always chalked it up to a dying bear or cougar vs. coyote fights......I gotta say, this recording is ery different and very impressive.

I totally understand the way the sound bounces around up there, and have experienced all kinds of NorCal animal calls in the pitch-darkness of redwoods....and based on that I'm CERTAIN that whatever these people caught on audio , whatever THEY are, THEY are real unknown entity and are being recorded by someone who deos not know what they are hearing. Actually a shocking tape to me...especially since there are at least three of them at different distances and angles, screaming at each other in some kind of howler-monkey communications.

Laugh, but could these folks be near a private primate farm of some kind? These sound like Howler monkeys, distorted by distance and canyons.

    3. Timmy you sound more convinced every post. Could be that Sasquatch is a big primate and is closely related to Howler monkey. The theory was put forth many times responding to one of these tapes. In this tape its easier to believe is Sasquatch tribe sound locating instead of trying to imagine someone inmiddle of nowhere raising howler monkeys in CA mountains. Definitely real you will hear one in your area and you will know it isnt a zoo monkey

    4. Props to "Timmy"--+ rep skeptic dude. You are onto something with Howler monkeys in the woods. I just heard them on Youtube and to me they sound exactly the same except as you pointed out a lot of distance and echo.

Convinced by a skeptic dammit but have to agree likely howler monkeys in private collection heard from miles away.

    6. Whatever he is he's opening up to the possibility and that's all we've ever wanted skeptics to do, at least he's not saying it's fake like the cynics do.

    7. Just to follow up on Timmy: this community has to do a better job of distinguishing between zealous skeptics and those of us who are simply being rationally thorough. I would investigate the presence of a private animal collection first (perhaps with Howlers). I live in Ohio, where private exotic animals (lions, tigers, chimps, etc.) abound.

      Delete
    8. And now a follow-up to my follow-up (!): the state of California has VERY restrictive exotic animal codes (unlike Ohio). I read the law, and the only way there could be a private howler collection in that area (assuming they are not illegal) would be if there were a rehabilitation center there. However, California does NOT restrict the ownership of hominids (Hominidae), so while you can't own many species of sparrow, you CAN own a chimpanzee ... I'm amazed.

    9. Well Ive never seen any evidence of it, but could A group of Howler monkeys survive and thrive (reproduce) here in NorCal? It does get cold but do they just pack on some fat and fur?

It would explain a lot of these crazy, craazy recordings...Im even a little startled, even more knowing there are sounds like that recorded all over this area for the last 4 decades.
IF these were truly Sasquatch, Id vote that THIS is their language, and Sierra sounds and all that is just BS. THAT screaming animal surely does NOT use a human like language.

Good discussion anyway...again with Occam's razor, but I could almost buy a pack or two of alien species howlers rather than a giant forest man ape...but thats just me

      Delete
    10. Well if this is an unknown Hominid;

      A) The howls could be some sort of ritual such as a mating call or maybe even some sort of primitive religious practice.

B)Perhaps these sort of calls and "Samurai chatter" are from two distinct unknown creatures

I have heard sounds just like this in Washington while I was out in the field. But I never associated them with "Bigfoot" my assumption at the time was that maybe there was a race track near by. (The race cars from Cowtown Speedway sounded similar to this sound when heard from where I lived 20 miles away in Texas.)

What I did hear that I later associated with Bigfoot sounded nothing like this. It was more whoops and screeches and whatever was making these noises was no more than 10 feet away from me walking back and fourth in the wood-line just outside the fence of the Ammo Holding area parameter. a recording called "The Puyallup Screamer" was exactly what I heard except for the screeching.

But aside from "Sasquatch" sightings, The Pacific Northwest also has sightings of Alma-like creatures that carry weapons and ware furs and start fires.

But going with the Howler Monkey theory.. It's not impossible. They are new World monkeys (From the Americas.) and if you are going to go with the possibility that an 8 foot hominid is running around undetected in the rain forests of North America, then how much harder would a Monkey be to find? Especially an arboreal one at that?

    1. I recall vividly what I was doing during 9/11, the Challenger disaster, and the night I crossed the Big Guy's path. Seen lots of bear; most definitely not a bear. But I do understand the skeptic perspective - been there, done that.

  4. With some audio manipulation and then put through speakers, this could be hoaxed. I'm not saying it is but is it possible. Listen to this EVP from a Welsh castle. With a little bit of audio manipulation this EVP could have been turned into the Clipper Mills vocals. See link below for the EVP

    1. Yes, I agree. That's what I was thinking too (and I believe that bigfoot exists).

How would a skeptic respond to this? They would claim that this is a hoax. Perhaps the campers were being hoaxed or were in on it.

Anyone with basic digital home recording studio equipment could make recordings like this. Recorded monkey howls (available on the internet) or human screams/moans into a microphone can be recorded digitally and the sound and pitches can be manipulated. The recording can then be played back loudly on speakers a great distance from where these recordings were made to get this effect.

I'm not saying that this is what was done here, but this is something that a skeptic would perhaps point to as a possible source for these sounds.

Don't laugh at me. But to me this sounds like someone took some choir music and recorded it digitally and then chopped it up and edited it and manipulated the result with some studio effects.

As with footage or prints, this will not convince skeptics, only bigfoot believers.

    2. don't forget, the campers heard these sounds from 2 or 3 different locations and (!) the locations moved. so squads of hoaxers with p.a. systems are going to move through treacherous sierra terrain in pitch black with sound equipment? no. very improbable. the place is so sparsely populated that who would they be hoaxing to anyway? even a hoaxer can't be sure about whats out there in those mountains. i doubt anyone has balls big enough, let alone the stupidity to stumble around with sound gear for the sake of a hoax. i think the big folks had something going on that night.

    ReplyDelete

    1. I doubt whatever it is would be making this much noise giving birth. Animals stay as silent as possible to avoid attracting predators. They also eat the placenta to erase any evidence of a birth. I'm no expert, by far, however, so I don't know if primates are very vocal during birth. I guess an apex predator wouldn't have to be as careful.

One will begin making noises and then many will join in.

  11. You peeps are all something else, lol. COYOTEES!!!

    1. I live in an area where coyotes can be heard. Coyotes can sound eery and freaky, but this doesn't have the timbre or frequency of coyote vocalizations.

I do understand the need for a healthy dose of skepticism with recordings like this. With the heavy doses of bigfoot hoaxing continually going on, it's never a good idea to take bigfoot evidence at face value without looking at it critically.

There are only three possibilities here. These sounds are either the result of a hoax, misidentification of a known animal (or human) vocalization, or they are the sounds of an unknown animal. Skeptics will only accept the first or second option and will dismiss the third out of hand. Nothing but a type specimen will convince close minded skeptics.

These recordings will be just like all other pieces of seemingly convincing bigfoot evidence. It will support the belief in bigfoot for those who are open minded enough to see through the hoaxes and look at the more legitimate evidence for the existence of bigfoot. It will do nothing for those who are closed minded and refuse to entertain the idea that we may not know all that there is to know about life in North America and that there may be good, yet unknown reasons as to why a small primate population is able to keep itself largely undetected.

    2. Oh yah the "book" that took 200 yrs to rewrite!Im putting all my marbles on that one!

      Delete
    3. Okay... First off, the Bible NEVER says that the descendants of Cain are Sasquatch. It does however mention "Giants" which were the descendants of Angels and Humans. So no it would not shake religious beliefs.

To the above Anom. Don't bring religion into this. And I would advise that you read who put the Bible together before you put blind faith into it. It is not some magical book written by God himself. It was many texts written by many people with many philosophies pated together by still pagan Romans for the soul purpose of Control. Before it was put together, Christians were killing Christians because some followed the book of John while others followed Peter. Don't get me wrong, I myself am a Christian, but I am not foolish enough to believe that the Bible is the finale word. There are many of these texts that were never added just as some probably should never have been added. The reason there are so many denominations is because the Bible can be twisted so many ways. You could even make the case that God wants to eat us all if you want. (Always comparing us with Sheep or fruit, and "It is better to be hot or cold, if you are luke warm I will spew thee out of my Mouth!!!")

    4. At the risk of bringing "religion into this," Tzieth, you need to do some serious objective studying of the history of Christianity. Much of what you wrote in your second paragraph is not correct.

      Delete
    5. No EVERYTHING I wrote was correct. If you are referring to the "Romans who put it together as Pegan"... They were. Constantine still worshiped Mars till the day he died. And each Disciple, had their own cult after the death of Christ. A few hundred years later, Christians were killing Christians which was the one of the main reasons why one cannon was to be adopted. The biggest reason was to preserve Rome which was on the verge of collapse. The old religions were based on indulgence and greed. If you wanted something, there was a God for it. war, sex, wealth. Christianity was the exact opposite. Be humble, if a man wants your tunic give him your cloak also, It's better to give than receive.

Constantine then made Christianity the Religion of Rome while still worshiping Mars and The Bible fulfilled it's intended purpose. Rome lasted 200 more years.

      Delete
    6. You originally wrote that the bible was put together for the soul (sic) reason of control. This is certainly a subjective interpretation of the origin of the New Testament. The writings that would later comprise the books of the New Testament were circulating centuries before Constantine came on the scene, when Christianity was still an illicit religion.

How do you know that Constantine worshipped Mars until the day he died? You must know more than most professional historians, who continue to debate the sincerity of Constantine's conversion to and support of Christianity.

How did Christians killing Christians result in one canon being adopted over another?

Constantine did not make Christianity the official state religion of the Roman Empire. This was done by the later Emperor Theodosius I in the 381 AD.

  16. That is definitely not coyotes, though the " dog" sounds smattered in between could be. It is theorized that the Bigfoot and coyotes have some type of symbiotic relationship. Now whether that is a friendly relationship or not is anyone's guess. Probably not though.
And to the skeptics as well as the believers, remember this......All options are on the table for review until something is proven 100% factual with no room for doubt. Just keep a healthy scientific skepticism alongside an open mind, and I think we are on the path to the truth of what these creature encounters truly are.

  19. I believe this couple were hearing these sounds completely on the up and up. The guy was doing his best to keep the whole situation from getting out of control and making sure his wife didnt lose it. She seemed honestly frightened, the one part that cannot be faked and that is the dogs reactions. they were at full attention and I believe they were just as scared. Why the other dogs were barking makes me wonder how close they were to the creatures or sounds. could they see the creatures or sense them by smell or ect. anyways they were close enough to be in fright and or flight mode whereas the ones in the truck were confuse and scared. I believe these sounds were real. I want BF to be so real but honestly cant make up my mind. I also cant figure out if I want an actual encounter of my own. I honestly am scared of the vocals I have listened to on the Web but the pictures and videos dont spark any fear to me. I am so confused as to what to believe.
