Watch How One Of The Most Significant Bigfoot Evidence Was Discovered [London Tracks]
According to the video description, this video shows what happened during the first 48 hours of the discovery of "probably the most significant finding in the last 40 years".
Toby Johnson, founder of the Oregon Sasquatch Symposium was the first on scene to detail the event. The video shows him in the field casting suspected Sasquatch tracks in Cottage Grove, Oregon.
Here's the story if you missed it: On February 14th, Cliff Barackman received a phone call from man named Toby Johnson about footprints he found near a logging road outside of town. When Cliff arrived at the scene the following day, he was staggered to find 122 footprints with a track line estimated to be about 120 yards in length.
"I was stunned by what I saw. There was a long line of footprints impressed into the silty shoreline of a lake," said Cliff. According to Cliff, the footprints are probably the most significant finding in the last 40 years:

There's a large lake called Dorena lake just East of Cottage Grove that's just right for this kind of activity. I'm wondering it this area is at the Baker Bay county park since it's close to the road and beach. This is a pretty nice find.

ReplyDeleteCliff Barackman has casted I believe about 72 prints that are locked away until season 3 of Finding Bigfoot is done filming, and will put together a documentary and peer review paper on this find together with Dr. Jeff Meldrum doing analysis. What a significant find, and I know of no way to hoax this, and Cliff has said that each track is different as one would expect when walking on this kind of substrate, and the distance between the tracks ranges from I believe 41 inches up to 53 inches in pretty much a straight line, pretty much ruling out any kind of hoax. If there are more videos of this find bring them here. WOW, what a find!

Sorry, 120 yard trackway is NOT the most significant discovery in recent times.
ReplyDeleteSad if it were, a line of tracks! We have tracks and trackways by the hundreds, thousands...not new, not significant, but it gets coverage as historic, why? Oh yeah, Finding Bigfoot: still living in the past and just can't get their minds around any data but what they accept.
So, I guess for them 120 yards of prints is a Big Deal. ROFLAO
Cliff mentions in the video that there is another track that numbers in the thousands. Any idea when/where that set occurred?

Not Anon and tracks were significant once. How many do we need? Witness testimony is significant, but how many do we need? Video footage is fairly extensive, but maligned. You can name five, I bet without effort that are accepted by most as significant.

DeleteLogic, folks. If there is the possibility that they could be made by a man/hoaxer, chances are they were made by a man/hoaxer. Also take into consideration that one of the people casting them is involved with that shit-show on Animal Planet. Sorry, but I smell hoax that is giving credence to another season of FB. Anything BFRO is associated with has no scientific value.

ReplyDeleteWhy bother to film this as documentation and then measure the prints with a watch? You knew you were about to film but you left the ruler/tape measure in the car? If we are going to document tracks and measure them, how about using the proper tools? These kind of "investigative techniques" are lacking at best.
ReplyDeleteCliff, had just gotten back from this before Shaver lake town hall. He stated that numerous other 5/6 others who were experienced at casting were all called in to help. This was only the next morning and just getting started.
ReplyDeleteFYI, for those in the know, fakes are EASY, to spot now that we know what were looking for.
He said in all, they took 120 tracks. There was another group of tracks found slightly away from the main trackline. It was discovered after the help showed up. A big part of what is significant is the stride. Hard to fake stride length without trying something stupid like construction stilts.
For all you that say it's easy, well, go fake some and call the news and put your name on it, see if you don't get busted quickly as a hoaxer.

If the stride is 41 to 53 inches, then it would be really easy to fake. If you have a friend in the 6'6" range ask them to show you how easy it would be. The burden of proof lies with the believer. Not fact until YOU prove it is. Yes, all variables, including the size of the tracks, can be replicated by a large man.

When first reported the argument was that there was no way this could be faked because the tracks were supposed to be in the middle of nowhere. Now with this video we know the sight is directly next to a highway, you can even here the traffic in the background. Doesn't prove it's fake, but does prove the sight is easily accessed. Then the tracks are supposedly 14" long, by measurement of watch. That's funny, because just by looking at the video and his hand as it passes over the cast it looks more like 10" to 12". Even 14" is within the range of a human. Without anything else to go on, it is just anecdotal evidence. John

BackInAction, i guess Cliff is talking about the Bossburg prints. They're the only one's numbering that kind of amount that i know of that are public anyway, 1,089 in total.
shit weve all seen video footage of guys with bigfoot stompers in the '80s that look as convincing. I would wager you could come up with good stompers that include dermal ridges,mid tarcel break etc...without too much hassle.
