Most Beautiful Blobsquatch Photo Ever!

The term "blobsquatch" refers to any vaguely bigfoot-shaped mass seen (or not) in an otherwise unremarkable photograph of trees. This also means "blurry indistinct objects in photos that could either be a real, live Bigfoot or, well, a branch, a shadow, a rock, a tree stump, a smudge on the lens, etc."

Once in a while, we receive a blobsquatch photo that is so clear and vivid that it deserves to be looked at and admired. Check out this video posted on YouTube by wowforreeel. Pay close attention to how beautiful that uprooted tree looks -- great photography right? And oh yeah, check out the dark figure shown circled on the left side of the photo.

The story goes like this:

On a hike and stopped to take a picture of an interesting uprooted tree. Later when the photos were loaded and they were going through them, this image was found. They are unable to explain it but to them it looks like the man himself, BIGFOOT!!!

  1. Why is there a line going from the center of the tree stump to the bear?

    1. Funny how easily anything (even if nothing) becomes a "bear" or a "man in suit"... I'm holding all "CLAIMS" to the same standard as BF'rs are held to. Fair is fair, right? All skeptic trolls must be accountable for every conclusion they make. Not saying that's a Sasquatch, but you OWE me proof that this is a bear... Otherwise, you are a "LIAR!" ...and fat???

    2. You're completely correct. I should have said "blob." But still, why is there a red line going from the center of the stump to the blob? Seems like just the circle would suffice in calling out the blob shape.

    3. Maybe they're making sure you know which is the "blob" and which is the "stump"? LOL!
To be clear, the above wasn't directed at you. Just being generally bitter today... hands-off the keyboard for the rest of the day!

    4. Hi. It's the other Dave and fortunately I'm not having a bitter Monday. It's not a bear, it's the bottom of a charred tree. Use some deductive reasoning - the toppled tree front and center has burned roots. It looks like a fire occurred on this site and new foliage as grown since. The tree dead center is charred half way up. The immediate foliage is dense, yet mid upper center you can see an upward slope, a view likely due to other fallen trees.

Other folk here noted it was a stump; I think there are clues right in the photo so you wouldn't need sophisticated analysis tools. But I'm also a digital artist and I do use a 27" pro-grade graphic design/film editing monitor with image/sound editing & analysis software to match. It's a native element (not photoshopped) - it's a charred tree stump. Next.

  5. They should go back and take another photo showing that the "blobsquatch" is or is not there...

  6. its a paved trail with mowed grass on either side. Looks like Bigfoot has settled down in suburb somewhere, good for him.

  7. What is the objection to Skepticism with BFers? I love the idea of Bigfoot. I truly hope they exist but the best I can do with the available evidence is shrug my shoulders and say maybe, maybe not. It just isn't a question of belief. Believing something definaty exists when you can't show it to people is a position based on faith and passion. If I require real verification of something fantastic before I declare that is absolutely real, this seems to make some folks angry and hostile. Why?

  8. I can't believe they only took one picture and got this beauty...

  9. I don't know. Picture doesn't look real to me. hmmm..

  10. Lol it's a tree trunk, probably the tree trunk holding up all those green leaves right above it. It's a funny 'blobsquatch' shape, but it's clearly a tree trunk, you can see it's perfectly straight edges on either sides, and how it continues up through the leaves if you look closer.

  11. I watched a few of this uploader's videos and I'm not convinced this is even a real blobsquatch.

  12. "Didn't even notice it at first". My favorite tagline for having your best friend dress in a cheap ape costume. I didn't even notice it until I decided to adjust tint and contrast to make the black figure on the left stand out from the foliage. And oh yeah, you can never have to many pictures of fallen trees.

  13. You know that if this was taken in a house it would be a ghost or shadow person. If this was in a lake it would have been Nessy or Ogopogo. Blobs are fun. lol
