Wherever Sasquatch is hiding, he can't resist the aroma of sizzling bacon. Of course, neither can Bobo or most other fanged creatures.
Watch Bobo cook up some bacon below from the The Soup Blog:
Whoa..what happened there? In this pristene silence I am hearing a commercial and no way to turn off? I diden't Choose to pay the Monotoized trolled video. I have almost zero tolerance for monotized videos, they have to be spectacular - viral - otherwise it's just the 99% hoping to be the 1% somehow? Ans Shawn looks like you are on your way...but seriously, if everytime I open a story I am forced to listen to a monotized video...well, who cares what I think right? LOl
Thought it was funny Bobo tosses bacon on the ground right after talking about how its dangerous to cook it because of the bears. But a little bacon lying by my tent wont hurt anything. These guys are total professionals.
"It will definitely bring in a squatch." Uh, since when did it become known that squatches like bacon? If bacon "will definitely bring in a squatch," why haven't they used it to "bring in a squatch" in order to capture one or at least get some good close footage.
I grew up in a geodesic dome on a farm surrounded by woodlands. Out of respect for nature my family vowed to never talk explicitly about the things we've seen but I will say that Bigfoot is real.
I don't know if they like bacon, though. Ha ha ha! That's pretty funny. And dangerous! Brown bears get a bad reputation but black bears are the ones you really need to look out for. I wouldn't cook bacon in the woods regardless.
@Sue D, I beleive you because the more people I meet who have intimate or close relationships (shared ecosystem or habituators) come to a similar conclusion. Out of respect, and perhaps certainty our proving shall do nothing good for Sasquatches, many feel as you. I agree. But, I am worried it won't be up to us and the population trying to Find Bigfoot only growing. I am guilty of that myself. I hope people like you do hang around for the outing, should it happen, and educate us on how to live in that harmony. And also, to help direct our responses/thinking with respect to policy. Ultimately, citizens will decide their fate through legislation (well..LOL seeing as lobby money is supplied by 1/4 of the 1%...democaray is an illusion isn' it?) and we need voices that don't have a deep financial stake in how we respond. Thanks for comment. Hope to see more.
Very thoughtful apehuman! Great points. I hope those who "know them" can help those who want to protect them. The DNA study is both exciting and terrifying in many ways. David from the PAC/NW
Kittalia A. sent us the following questions about Patty, the Bigfoot in the Patterson-Gimlin film. They are all very good questions that we we wish we knew the answers to. We're no "Henry May" and it's times like this that we wish we had his number. Since we don't have Henry around whenever we need him, here are some easy questions for all you Patterson-Gimlin believers to try and answer:
Thanks to Matt Moneymaker for sharing this story with us from a guy named Thomas S. who was camping with some friends near the French Meadows Reservoir in August 2012. This remote, forested basin is located on the American River approximately 58 miles east of Auburn in the Sierra Nevada's. Before his encounter, the man thought Bigfoot "was just for entertainment purposes", but he changed his tune when he ended up with messy drawers that night. "That will teach to goof on our show," says Matt.
Uh Oh. Here we go again, folks. M.K. Davis originally brought up this theory called the "Bluff Creek massacre" theory back in 2008 at a conference. The controversial theory was immediately rejected by the Bigfoot community and Davis was shunned from ever speaking about it again. According to Davis, based on his expert film analysis and color enhancements of frame 352 of the PG film, he theorizes that the Patterson party had been to the Bluff Creek site at least once before returning to capture their famous Bigfoot video. His theory also suggests that the party probably murdered a family of Bigfoots and buried their bodies. Davis points to an enhanced anomaly resembling a bloody dog print and a pool of blood as proof of his theory.
I love the Soup's lampooning of this show. It really is ridiculous.
