The Full Skookum Movie Needs Funding, But You Can Watch This Preview For Now

Rob Gaudet directed this preview for a Bigfoot movie called Skookum. It's a mystery, scifi, thriller, and horror film all packed into one movie. Rob tells us his production company almost got the funding, but the deal fell through at the end.

"We were 2 weeks from the shoot and our funding fell through.. We have interest from SyFy Channel and Chiller. They require budgets of $500,000.00," Rob said.

Rob has written five screen plays: Skookum, The Gravel Road, Garou, Bump, American Woowah, Sideshow. You can support Rob by friending him on Facebook: click here.

  1. Interesting teaser. The cinematography is beautiful. I hope they are able to finish it.

  2. I like the teaser too, but some of the Syfy movies dealing with bigfoot and yeti have been ridiculous and bad acting. Always want to portray it as a blood thirsty creature out for murder and do not get in its way. Not my cup of tea.

  3. Dr Meldrum is cast in the movie as well. Being a researcher with high regards for this creature myself, we have been careful in how we approach characterizing bigfoot. There are many types of horrors in the world.

    1. Good luck in your endeavor. Artistically, it looks like you've put much time & effort into this film; the cinematography and film locale sold me when I saw this last year. Keep us posted ...

  4. pure crap.....first of all its called "Skookum" which is a tribal name for sasquatches in the pacific NW not the swamps in Louisiana, seems like a modern day spoof of the "Legend Of Boggy Creek" or the "Honey Island Swamp" monster this movie is worse tean terrible..I wont waste my time watching it.. As soon as I saw the blood...this is worse than a steamy pile of squatch vomit mixed with diarrea

    1. Be nice ... I wasn't fond of the title myself. Judging from the trailer it's obviously better than that Brian T. Jaynes Boggy Creek fiasco filmed in Uncertain, TX. It seems that the real "monster" in this movie is possibly a serial killer ...

  5. that is so pathetic, first they say it was filmed in 2010 and now they say they need money, ridiculous..
