Watch This Video Of The Gold Lake, CA Region, The Sierra Kills Event Happened Near Here

The exact location of where the Sierra Kills event took place is still a mystery at this point. What we do know is that it happened near the Gold Lake region in California. We have heard mention of the Sierra Buttes area, but in a recent interview with the Bigfoot shooter, Justin Smeja, the shooting took place somewhere in the vicinity of Bassetts and Mount Haskell.

Here's a peaceful video showcasing the Gold Lake region. Ironically, it's produced by Born To Shoot:

According to TotalEscape.com: By far one of the most scenic lakes regions in California, Gold Lake is part of the Lakes Basin Recreation Area. Plenty fishing, camping & hiking trails in this part of the forest. It's essentially the Northern Sierra or Gold Country North, since Historic Hwy 49 ends nearby. Gold Lake Road is closed in winter, but the snowmobiles have access. Cross country skiing & snow shoeing are also great here.

  5. Beer-Man, I wouldn't suggest it since there are apparently trigger finger hunters in the area. Hey, I only would make one revision and say "the location of the supposed Sierra kills."

  9. I hope more Sasquatches are killed in that area. Hunting is our God given right and it is completely natural.

  11. Hunting humans? You're an idiot then. Your God can kiss my ass anyway, but since he doesn't exist that'll be difficult so instead you can take his place. lol

  16. Lord, I miss the mountains, and am envious of all those of you who get to live here.
SciaticPain is right about Mono Lake.
Monsterquest did a pretty good espisode, at the same spiral rock site.
Also one of my old time favorites, High Plains Drifter was filmed at Mono Lake. I wonder if they had any strange happenings
